I really had high hopes for this experience. Overall, I think floating is something everyone should try for themselves to see whether it's a good fit personally. I truly love the concept, even though for me the experience felt a bit overstimulating and physically stretching at times. Where I found myself disappointed was more with the level of customer care than the service itself, especially knowing this was my first visit. After my float, I enjoyed the oxygen bar and mentioned interest in learning more about another service option. During my oxygen session, the receptionist kindly offered to bring me tea, but it never arrived. By the end of the session, I noticed staff members chatting at the front while I was left feeling a little unsure about next steps. The staff were not rude at all, they were polite, but I did leave feeling like a bit more attentiveness and, guidance could have made a meaningful difference, especially for a first-time guest. The facilities themselves were generally clean and the overall concept has a lot of potential. Incredibly relaxing because it's calm, clean, lowkey beautiful but well-maintained with calm and professional staff. You sign in, pick your preferred sound/music. You swap your shoes for fresh sandals and at the first appointment you come about 30 min early to watch a video on the tips that help you properly prep in the shower, coat a little petroleum jelly to protect dry skin or scratches from the salt in the float tub, and how to use the ear plugs. I've been to another float center in Redwood with a friend, so it was nice to find one close to home. I put a cloth in the lid to keep it open a crack and to help mark my orientation if I get up and want to readjust. I find that I prefer wave sounds and my husband likes music. I like to start with lights, then lights off for a minute, then I eventually mentally "drop down" into peace and darkness for like a half hour or so. Sometimes faster or slower. Really it's great for any body soreness and mental fatigue. I usually notice a 2-for-1 special and buy that and do a float "date" with my husband. So we usually get a sitter, catch a bite, connect and float. My hubby found out he had a lot of scratches on the last one... so they told him to reschedule no cost when he felt better. How considerate! I have been here 4 times now, but that felt so considerate that I trust them and really look forward to going back. I really like how close they are to a few spots I need things from as well. Since I'm out of town, we stop by the stores or eateries and cafes nearby to make it a treat. read more

The workers there were so kind and helpful through every step of the process, and there were also signs everywhere to make sure you knew what to do. While I appreciated the relaxation, the earplugs that you use prevented me from hearing the music, which is a cue to tell you when your time is up. Such a relaxing and fun new experience. The pod was interesting. I did ocean waves for my music and floated in the dark with my pod closed. I would definitely do this again! So it turns out floating personally isn't for me. I was one of the few people that got nausea mid-float... But that doesn't take away from how clean and professional the experience was. I am still glad to have tried it. I purchased a 2 for 1 float deal during Christmas. They have several specials throughout the year (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, etc). The office is very calming. If you didn't bring your own flip flops they can provide some. As first timers we watched a brief introduction video. They also have a selection of music. They now have the option to let you listen to a sample of the music before choosing. Before floating it's recommended you use the toilet first. They provide everything. Towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, silicone moldable earplugs, q-tips. You also have the option to play your own music. But the Jack is an audio. It's not Bluetooth connected. Maybe they had adaptors for your phone if you asked. At first I had trouble relaxing/my neck felt strained. Oh the tiny cuts on my hand that I didn't know about stung. After about 15 minutes I finally relaxed. The water was pleasantly warm. Then it got very humid and a little difficult to breathe. It was much better once I opened the top. I didn't feel cold because the water was warm. They have water, tea, and oxygen bar and even little notebooks in the lounge area. We were in a bit of a time crunch so we left without trying those. Decided to try this place out because I was curious about the float spa. As I walked in a nice lady greeted us an ask if we been here before? Of course we sad no. We were a little early so she asked us if we wanted to pick out our music for our 1 hour float spa. There are various types of tunes to pick out from I chose a rain soundscape. They also asked us to tell them the size of our shoe which they provided flip-flops for our session. After that, they sat us in a little room and we watched a video about the float spa. One of the things I remember is that it can cause queasiness in your stomach, which I thought was kind of weird since you were just floating in a body of water. After the video they showed us to our float ballroom they asked us to take a shower before we got into our pod. As I got into my pod after my shower, I tried to relax, but it was hard to get some relaxation. About 5 to 10 minutes into it. I did start feeling a little nauseous so I decided to just sit there for a while. After my hour was up, I took another shower because the salt does adhere to your body. They also provide towels and shampoo and body wash. In my opinion, I'm not sure if I would do another float spot since I felt the way I did. After your time is if they do have tea that you can have and also do an oxygen type thing. They do not rush you so take your time and enjoy your relaxation after your spa float treatment. Also in my opinion if you have not experienced a float spa and are able to try. You should at least try it you might like it. It just wasn't for me. read more

I really enjoyed this experience. Things to know: breathe through your mouth when floating. Breathing through your nose seems insanely loud. Bring your own conditioner for after. I used what they provided and my hair still feels salty. I went while my back has been having some pinched nerves so it kept my back from super relaxing. But my arm and my legs twitched a couple times. You can do it complete black out- not the worst but it's been forever since I have been in that so I decided it felt more comfortable to have the light change color. I highly recommend you rinse off twice. Half way back from Napa I touched my ear and felt salt come off. They have dissolved 300 pounds of epsom salt in it. I must have had a hot flash towards the end because everything started to feel cold. This will be an experience I do again. It was a great experience here! The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, they got us water and tea and explained the entire process to us (it was our first time in a float tank) and they were really helpful for the entire experience. I absolutely loved floating around for an hour and listening to healing frequencies and singing bowls. Everything seemed clean and safe, and they have a back room for getting ready after your float where they also offer products free of charge for you to use. Dangerous for anyone with any kind of mobility issues. Tubs are slippery to enter and exit, floor is rocks and, again, slippery. Staff was not trained in basic first aid. While the staff is genuinely helpful and kind, they have neither the training nor the ability to help in an emergency. I was injured badly both times I tried to use the float pod and ended up losing work time and suffered long lasting pain. read more

What a cool way to rest and distress! We watched a few YouTube videos before coming to understand what exactly is this float thing. Is it a fad? A crock? Or a necessary therapeutic use to truly assist in our relaxation and pleasure? Well, stay tuned to see what it ended up being for me Upon arriving, we were greeted by Mycheal, a cool, upbeat,friendly and knowledgeable guy who guided us through everything. I think Mycheal was born for this. He put me at ease at the thought of closing up in a pod on purpose He assured me I would be find and my occasional claustrophobia shouldn't get the best of me. Lol. We checked in at the desk with Mychael and swapped the needed Groupon info as well as discussed any other things we needed to know. We left our shoes up front and put on flip flops. I brought my own. We were led to a room with two comfy chairs and a TV monitor on the wall. We watched a video that toured the facility and told us all about the float experience, what to do or not to do. This was a good thing to do. You can choose to have music on or not or even just at the beginning. I chose to have music the whole time. It was great. Next, we got the in person tour of the bathroom, the area to blow-dry your hair, the oxygen bar, rest area for tea sipping. This location is decorated with beautiful art from local artists. It is all for sale. We were encouraged to use the restroom before floating, which makes sense because you will be charged a lot of money if you pee in their salt water. I'm sure they have a way to tell if you did, so don't ever do that We were led to our float room. Each person goes into a separate room. I think there were four total float rooms. Once you go in to the room, you are told to put on the silicone earplugs, put Vaseline on any cuts, then take a very good shower. They provide the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. They ask that you shower after the float and use the conditioner. I'm sure you can imagine the salt being a little rough on the skin. There is a light inside the pod. You can change the color. I kept it blue. The overhead light is motion sensored. Once I got in the pod the overhead light went out making the room dark and pod more ethereal. I did not like the darkness, so I got out and turn on the cleaning light which was on a switch outside of the room. It worked better for my comfort level to keep that brighter light on. I got back in the tank and got into position. There is a head ring to put on the back of your head as you float. This takes pressure off your neck and upper back as you float. So, I just layed there and kept fighting the urge to feel like I needed to be doing something. I closed my eyes and focused on the music. Just as I was really getting in to the experience I got a CRAZY leg cramp! What?! This was nuts! I had to get out of the pod to relieve the cramp. I got out, got relief and got back in the pod. As soon as I got comfy the leg cramp came back. I repeated the previous moves two more times and decided to get out of the pod for good. I showered, rubbed on conditioner and showered again. It seemed to soothe my skin. I got dressed and went out to the oxygen bar. Suggestions: 1. A mirror on the wall in the float room would be very useful. No need to look a mess before going out into the public space. 2. A step stool to step on to get in or out of the pod would be great for folks with any kind of injury making it hard to get in or out of the pod. Mychael met me out there and checked in on my experience. I shared what happened. I said I felt like a failure cause I didn't finish. He said I wasn't a failure I did my best. I appreciated his comment. Okay, back to the oxygen bar This was a cool way to end my float experience. You receive 95% (I think he said) oxygen infused with DoTerra aromatherapy products, so you know they're good. You put on the nose oxygen giving thingee, sit back in the comfy chair and relax. You have an assortment of oils to choose from. I used Breathe, On Guard, Copaiba and Lavender at separate times. Mychael made me some tea and I sipped and breathed. Lol After about 30 minutes and trying essential oils I was ready to go. This was a wonderfully relaxing experience, even though I got a leg cramp. I didn't want the cramp to be my highlight. Ha. I liked being in thr pod to being in a womb of sorts. Not that I can remember what that was like, but I can certainly imagine. If you're considering doing a float just go and let go. I let go easier than I thought I would once I was in the pod. I do plan to go back and try it again. Today I did my first float. There will absolutely be more to come. I was welcomed by Michael who definitely lived up to all the great reviews. He for sure was a big part of experience. Very personable. Made you feel very comfortable before even entering the pod. Answered all questions and concerns. Then you watch an introduction video. That explains everything you didn't think of asking about. Michael asks what kind of music you prefer if you choose to listen to music. Then your introduced to your private room. Getting into the pod was pretty easy to get into. The water is nice and warm. I left the pod open. I'm a little claustrophobic. Still, It was an amazing experience. Soooo relaxing. Had such a wonderful time here. Tried this float for the first time yesterday with my daughter. The service was very personal, patient, welcoming and friendly. We weren't rushed or uncomfortable. Everything was explained in great detail. The float beds are so spacious and cozy, the rooms have a great lay out to them, safety bars in case you need to grab on for assistance while getting in and out of the pod. There is showers in the rooms to shower upon entry of your pod. Near the shower they provide soap, shampoo and conditioner. All of which smell wonderful! They provide a really secure pair of of ear plugs for this experience that worked well for even myself.. I typically struggle with most ear plugs do to my smaller ear canal. The music was really serene & relaxing. I would definitely go again. After the whole experience there is the most adorable area to gather your thoughts, have warm tea, water, they even have an "oxygen bar" I most definitely will be back. This review is long overdue. A few months back, I visited this location. My experience was amazing! I was gifted a few sessions. I had been experiencing some anxiety and insomnia. This was the perfect solution. I HAD AN OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE ! I felt so soothed.. the benefits lasted weeks. Michael at the desk was very attentive and brought me to a room to show a short video that explained any questions I would have. Amazing customer service! Once I arrived in my private room, the whole one hour in water experience felt like it lasted 5 minutes. I was transported to another world. Between the native American flutes playing underneath the water and pink led. Before I knew it, I heard a female computer voice say, "You may exit the pod." I still had time to shower. I will stress to rinse your hair several times to remove salt residue. I was covered in it the remainder of the night. After the pod, I drifted over to the oxygen bar. This was a PHENOMENAL experience. Let me first start off by saying I would have never thought to come here if my friend didn't mention it to me. He's in the health and wellness industry so something like this is right up his alley but he has yet to try it. Today was my birthday, so I decided to treat myself and see what this salt pod was all about. When I arrived I was greeted by Christian. His demeanor was calm, relaxed, and professional. Christian took his time explaining every possible thing about the different areas that were split up in inside the facility. The pod situation: you can either choose to float with a soft green light on inside or you can choose to have it be completely dark. I chose the darkness. The first 15 minutes you listen to very calm and relaxing music and the after that you lay there in complete silence. After 40 minutes of the silence and darkness the last 5 minutes the music comes back on to alert you that your session is about to end. As I was laying there, I noticed my breathing became more relaxed and the feeling of floating is something you have to experience for yourself. Throughout my time I was so relaxed that different parts of my body would twitch, giving me the most interesting feeling. I kept wanting myself to twitch to keep having that "feeling". When my session was over, I showered off and went into the lounge where I was able to try oxygen machines with different scents. First I started with eucalyptus and then I tried lavender. That was also very calming. The icing on the cake was when I was checking out, Christian stated that he understood it was my birthday and sent me home with a small sample jar of salt. A VERY nice personal touch in which I really and truly appreciated. I can't say enough great things about this place. Last night I didn't sleep well so my neck and shoulder muscles were extremely tense. Did my second Float a few days ago! I fist came here when I was pregnant and I had a bit of a hard time relaxing and at first I didn't think it was for me. The instruction video did mention that floating may take some practice, so I decided to try it for a second time after I had my baby to treat myself, and it was amazing. I was so relaxed and I literally caught myself snoring during the session. I felt so refreshed after my float. Every time I've been here the staff is super friendly. I had my first float spa ever at this location and it was the most incredible experience! I have been curious about float spas for a few years and finally the opportunity came! The staff were so kind and informative and they really made me feel at ease with the whole process. I forgot to ask for the name of the first young lady that greeted us and that gave us a tour of the faculty but her and Iliana were great. The only reasons I say it wasn't for me was you are supposed to get naked to be in the pod and I had to fish out someone else's long hair that was floating around in there which grossed me out. I had a hard time finding a comfortable position to float in that didn't strain my neck and I really had a hard time relaxing. I chose the ocean sounds that I couldn't really hear and I got cold despite having the lid closed so I hopped out halfway through to warm up in the shower. Floating is truly a transformative experience, one that is difficult to put into words that can do it justice... You just have to go experience it for yourself. We are in the wellness industry as well and we are always looking for amazing customer service (because its what we train on all day every day) and Michael had it! I work in the wellness industry and am constantly immersed a zen state and the high end spa environment. The amenities, service and staff are top notch. My first time experience was amazing and I am still basking in its benefits. I was resistant to go for a while because fads annoy me but my clients kept asking me about it and I am in large a big supported of Epsom salt soaks. I was curious about all the said benefits and the amount of Epsom salt they used, I believe they said 100 lbs per pod? I found myself mostly zen while buoyant and once settled into my new but very cozy environment. The experience for my hour long meditation was astonishing. My meditation practice is a mostly consistent thing but is a constant struggle, guaranteed to be distracted if in a new space. The sensory deprivation of floating in a perfect temp and a dark pod (I had the light option but it triggered my eyes to explore the inner workings of the pod). I normally meditate 30 minutes and the pod experience is for an hour. My mind started in around that time contemplating if I hadn't heard the music because of the ear plugs and then I logically chilled knowing it hadn't been long enough. The last stretch definitely tested my "meditation stamina" and I found myself sitting up and stretching once the music queued me that I had 5 minutes remaining. Tbh I don't know if I would have been comfortable enough in any other environment to have pushed myself that long to truly be present. Afterward, the shower in my personal pod room had yummy EO brand soap, shampoo and conditioner really helped bring me back with my sense of smell. I do wish they had some lotion in the room itself so I could rehydrate my skin before putting my clothes on but they did have some by the bathrooms I used. Once all dressed, I ventured to their lounge where they have an oxygen bar that puts Vegas to shame utilizing essential oils over artificial scents. The staff was great, I cannot believe I forgot his name ? He allowed me to bounce around with different scents. I left feeling super chill and walked across the way to get some food before driving. I was left utterly useless and went home to relax until I went to sleep. I definitely recommend to do this at the end of your day. The day after I still feel great, more relaxed, less tension- tension I was unaware of in my chest and limbs. My surroundings feel so much less abrasive. Finding my flow state isn't hard at all. Traffic, grocery shopping, even picking a friend up from an outpatient procedure are oddly peaceful. Consider me convinced. Knowing the effects of stress and finding myself more relaxed and in effect more in tuned with my surroundings and productive and less fatigued by stress. This shit is legit! Oh, another big perk is my psoriasis calmed down, epsom salt does have an effect but I am sure that truly tapping into relaxation so deeply plays a big role.
