Me and my sister wanted to try this for our bday activity for a while . So glad we finally did it! It was such a great experience. Relaxing and educational. We will surely be back!

This place is great because it's very secluded and quiet. I have never been distracted by noise or outside influences during my float sessions. Suzy is very sweet and the rooms are always clean. I have maybe floated 10 times and the monthly membership is worth it to me. I have a bad tail bone and floating is the only time I get true relief and am able to lie on my back.

The staff is always so nice, the space is quiet, relaxing, and clean- could not ask for more.

Went here with my husband for our first time floating. Soon as we entered we were greeted nicely and I forgot the lady's name but we think she's the owner- she was very nice and explained the whole process to us and answered all our questions. She was very welcoming. Since it was our first time floating, we had to watch a short video on their iPad about what to expect while we float. The lady then showed us the rooms where we would be in and the float pods. Each room had its own showers and it was very clean! They also had shampoo, conditioners, body wash, ear plugs, makeup wipes and petroleum jelly to cover any cuts. While you're floating, you can choose to have the lights on or off to be in complete darkness. In the first and last 5 minutes of your float there will be calm music playing. They also provide a neck float if you prefer to have your neck up - which I also found more comfortable. Also, I would recommend using the ear plugs if you don't like feeling the water in your ears if you decide not to use the float. Also! I would recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner because if you're like me with long, thick hair... you would come out with real sticky, salty and frizzy hair. Lol. And bring a comb/brush too! All in all, I would definitely come here to float again. The owners are really friendly and the place is super clean and the experience is just amazing! You will feel sooo relaxed right after and probably a few days after that too :)

My first float. Like many, I have undiagnosed anxiety and stress that I need to get out of my system, and I heard about how floating can help with relaxation (along with joint pain, depression, sleep, etc.) I wasn't sure what to expect, but owners Suzy and Mel along with a cute animated float guru explained everything very clearly and offered tips on how to enhance the float pod experience. Before entering the pod, shower off with the pre-pod body wash. Afterwards, you'll want to apply petroleum jelly to any open areas. As another reviewer mentioned, it's probably best to apply some petroleum jelly to your nether regions as well. I did experience some very mild stinging in that area afterwards (you're soaking in 1200 pounds of Epsom salt after all). Oh, and don't forget to use the bathroom beforehand. After showering and applying jelly as needed, you're ready to enter the pod. Music plays for the first 10 minutes and then shuts off. You can control the lights and open the pod. There's a spray bottle and dry towel in case you end up getting salt in your eyes and also a floating device to support your neck if needed. During the final 5 minutes, the music turns back on to reorient you back to reality. Rinse off using the post-pod shampoo and body wash and enjoy the vanity area (lotions, combs, ear rinses) before re-hydrating yourself with a cup of tea or water. Overall, I felt like my experience in the pod was therapeutic. I can't say my mind was completely blank, but I just kept reminding myself to focus on my breathing. There were moments where I could only hear my breathing and heart beating. Midway through though, I did start feeling mildly nauseous. However, the video did explain that experiencing nausea - while not experienced by everyone - could signify your body detoxifying especially if you're sensitive in the stomach region. That, or I might have a kidney problem (let's hope that's not the case). I did end up opening the pod to get some air and felt immediate relief. If it's your first time, I'd recommend going 60 minutes just to see how you react to the pod. If floating is for you, Enlighten Float offers package deals and memberships for those who are interested in multiple sessions. Overall, I feel very relaxed and like I am going to sleep well tonight. I can't wait to see how my second float session goes. Until then!

My fiancé set up a Saturday afternoon for our 9 year anniversary. I was a little nervous at first because didn't know what to expect in the floating bath but the staff explained everything and felt good about it. The place was immaculate and smelled fresh, that made me feel comfortable that everything was sanitized and clean. When going into the bath, it was warm and perfect temperature. Then as you float you just close your eyes, and next thing you know you are completely relaxed! It my busy schedule I find it hard to just relax and just meditate but being in the floating bath, took all that stress away and literally felt so good. I want to go back!

Incredible experience. Suzy was friendly, caring, and accommodating. It was my first time and she explained everything I needed to know. It was a bit stressful at first, but once I settled in I didn't want to leave! Facility is incredibly clean. Prices are decent too! Highly recommend!!!

First time floater! And can I just say what an amazing experience I had. Upon entering, I was nicely greeted by whom I believe to be the owner, Mel. He had a very peaceful and warm attitude, I felt very comfortable being there as it was my first time being at this place as well. I booked an appointment via their website, which was very easy to use. I usually like to book appointment ahead of time for places that offer appointments because you can't always count on a walk-in to be available. Mel gave me a quick overview about floating, and continued by showing me a 5-min video learning more about floating, which was actually quite entertaining to watch thanks to the "Float Guru" (you'll know what I'm talking about when you come here). After the video, I was given a tour around the small place and shown to my private room. The room was extremely clean and it was quite beautiful inside. Inside the room is, of course, the float pod (huge!) and a shower in which they have this very interesting shower head which instead of stream jets of water, it's a mister, but a strong enough mister to still cleanse the body. There's a small stand with ear plugs, facial wipes and petroleum jelly (to cover open wounds) provided at your convenience, along with a robe next to the door! You'll take a quick shower using their "pre-float wash" soap before entering the pod. Entering the pod, there's a green light which allows you to control the light setting (recommend turning it off) and a red button that acts as a call light to the front desk. Music starts playing for 10 minutes which will help your body relax before turning off completely after that. As a first time floater, it was a bit difficult getting used to just simply relaxing and let my body go, but towards the middle, I was doing much better. It was pitch-black, and I was extremely relaxed. Felt like I was in another realm, or a realm of my own if you don't think I'm being too dramatic. When there's 5 minutes left, the music will turn back on tuning your body back to reality. After getting out of the pod, you'll take a real shower and they have shampoo and body wash available for you labeled as "post-float wash." Extremely fast and easy check out, receipts can be emailed to you! I'm thinking about getting their membership, where you can get one float per month (they rollover!) Highly recommend this place, they also have an infrared sauna but I didn't get to try it this time, but it's next on my list!

When I heard that I asked my son about it and found out that he's been dying to try. So we decided to do it together. We each signed up for a membership because you can cancel anytime (but now I don't want to) and it gives you a discounted price for floating. We found a time where they had two pods open and arrived about 15 minutes early. You do have to leave your shoes at the door, so make sure your feet look good. I was a bit embarrassed by my old pedicure but whatever. You can walk in sandals that they provide or barefoot. They also have a little seating area and will bring you some water while you wait if you like Before the float, they gave us a full orientation to how the pods work. First put in your earplugs and then shower with lovely smelling products that they provide. Once you're cleaned off, you can hop in the pod. Each pod is big enough for people to fit comfortably and you can turn a blue light on or off. I floated in darkness, but my son chose to leave the light on. They even have little spray bottles of freshwater inside the pod, just in case any of the salt water hits the eyes. It is a little strange the first time trying to find the right position and such. But after about 10 minutes, I slipped away and before I knew it the hour had passed. I couldn't believe it. I even checked my watch to validate an hour had really past because time just seemed to disappear. We felt so relaxed afterwards and enjoyed a nice dinner out. However, I have scheduled my next one in two weeks for a later time so that I can just go home and go to sleep afterwards. Overall, it was an excellent experience and this place is run very well. It is finally time for me to write a review on this place…read more A bit of background is that I've been dealing with an asthma flareup that has made it difficult for me to walk even a block without getting out of breathe. Before my flare up, I was at the gym regularly with pretty good cardio. A friend of mine suggested I go and try a session with her. I was admittedly pretty wary since I didn't see how sitting in a room of salt would make a difference. I went and after the session, I noticed I could walk and jog without issue. I was even able to get a good gym session in the next day! I've asked my pulmonologist about it and he said that it is indeed a thing and also offered me a corresponding medical treatment. With that and this, my breathing is slowly but sure improving overall rather than just spurts here and there. Avery, the owner, if friendly and knowledgeable about how each of her services work. You can call to book or schedule online. Either way works and it is super easy to do. The chairs are comfortable and you can lounge in them. There are also some yoga mats if you want to use those. You do need to bring clean socks (or you can buy a pair for $2!) to bring to each session. I have also used the individual booth sauna which has a setting to allow you to get salt inhalation too. You can use it as a sauna or, I can't handle heat so, you can have a low heat place to yourself. There is also a community room where you book a spot and you may share the room with others so be respectful! There are other services here too but since I've never used them, I won't give any opinion. Parking is plentiful here too. I definitely recommend this to people with health issues and those that just want to relax. There is a reason why back in the day doctors recommended going to the beach :P They might not have known the science behind the benefits but they knew! I really do recommend this and I do have about it to friends. :)

I've been to another float center in Redwood with a friend, so it was nice to find one close to home. I put a cloth in the lid to keep it open a crack and to help mark my orientation if I get up and want to readjust. I find that I prefer wave sounds and my husband likes music.
