I hate to rate so low - because the woman who provided the "message" was genuine and really nice but she is not trained in the slightest. (Not to mentioned we asked for a couples massage but were told to go in separate rooms which I just gave into bc they had set the rooms up for us ) For the following examples. She put so much lotion on my feet that my feet kept slipping out of her hands and she would have to hold on by almost pinching me - she also used so much it got all over my pants and I can not get the stain out. I will send pictures. (For this I would like a full reimbursement for the message to cover some of what the pants cost) When she had me on my stomach she pulled down my pants and my undergarments and it was really uncomfortable for me. I asked her before hand if she wanted all clothes removed - she just motioned to my shirt. Then proceeded to pull my pants down when I was in the table face down. Not okay. She also was very sloppy in her technique - again so much lotion. Then she would touch my spine frequently which is not okay in any sense. Multiple times - hence the not trained. She also at one point crawled up on me put her knees on my back thighs and arched my back up towards her by pulling my arms back! How is this relaxing? One of the worst massage experiences I've ever had! Parking was rough; it took me almost 20 minutes to find a spot in the shopping center. Upon entry, staff wasn't friendly or engaging. When I was taken into my room, I noticed out of the corner of my eye that the walls were 3/4 height and did not reach the ceiling. I didn't think much of it at the time... ... and then the man receiving a massage in the adjacent room wouldn't stop loudly moaning. That's not incredibly relaxing... but, luckily about 20 min into my massage his service ended and the environment became quiet. ... and then a man entered the adjacent room speaking on his cell phone... and his cell phone rang every 5-10 minutes, and oh yes did he answer it-- on speaker! I learned far more than I needed about his future flight schedule.... For the next hour. With 3/4 walls, I would hope that staff would be more assertive to enforce a quiet environment. I rarely have a moment to spare to pamper myself with something like a massage, so it was very disappointing to leave more tense than how I arrived. The massage itself wasn't bad, but between the miserable parking and the unpredictable environment, I could never return. read more

Love Silk Road. I've been a customer since they opened, through the pandemic to today. Have done membership as well as stand alone appointments. Always get a great massage- I usually find one specific person whose style I prefer over the others. As of Jan 2026, that masseuse is Amanda Liu. She's awesome! Absolutely ridiculous. I WANT A REFUND!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! 1. Ella didn't understand a single word in English so when I asked her to avoid a certain area of my body, she pulled out Google Translate and had me speak into it. Very unprofessional. How can you be working a job that requires touching people when they're almost completely naked and you can't understand when someone is telling you not to touch a specified body part?? 2. She pulled my underwear down COMPLETELY without asking for my permission. I understand pulling it down halfway when you're massaging the back, but I never gave permission for her to expose my ENTIRE bottom... 3. I don't know if she was hired as a favor by the staff, but I genuinely don't think she knew what she was doing, or that she ever got proper training: A) I'm not sure if she was trying to dislocate my limbs but this is what she did: I was laying on my stomach, she climbed onto the bed between my legs, PULLED BOTH MY ARMS BACKWARDS AND STARTED THRUSTING AND PULLING. I had to say "NO THANK YOU" because WTF WAS THAT??? There were multiple moments she started literally f--ng aimlessly pulling at my limbs. And I didn't even bother saying something anymore because she doesn't know a full 5 words in English, let alone "Hey, can you stop trying to rip my arms off of my body, that hurts" B) I TOLD HER ABOUT 20 TIMES TO GO LIGHTER AND SLOWER but I eventually just gave up and was waiting for the whole thing to be over as soon as we started. She was pushing and rubbing so hard and fast it felt like I was getting a rug burn for 70 minutes C) I'm not sure what this was, but she literally started throwing and shaking my head in her hands... I was in so much disbelief I was just waiting for it to be over. In what world is that a massage??? Good lord. D) I WENT TO GET A RELAXING MASSAGE AND NOW MY BACK AND NECK F---NG HURT. WHY WAS SHE PUTTING HER ENTIRE BODY WEIGHT ONTO MY F---NG NECK AND SPINE?? WHY WAS SHE ELBOWING MY BONES??? And her elbow kept slipping into my buttcrack. Now I'm in so much pain that wasn't there before and all I wanted was a nice afternoon. And she had the audacity to want a tip from me. read more

Elle was amazing! She was so kind and the pressure was perfect for my needs. I let her know that I was allergic to lavender and she was very receptive. She speaks very little English so I was happy to type in my concern on her google translate app! Which worked so well. I filled out the form at the beginning telling her I wanted focus on head, neck, back, and shoulders and she did exactly that and still did other places for a little bit too! The place was so so clean and the table was comfortable. Be mindful and remember the noise travels fast even to the back room so keep talking even at front at a whisper. My husband and I were enjoying a date day after brunch when we stumbled upon Silk Road Massage. We quickly looked at each other and thought, 'A massage sounds perfect!' We called, and they told us to come right over. The staff was super friendly, and the place was impeccably clean and well-sanitized, which made me feel great about choosing this spot. I didn't catch her name, but my masseuse was incredible! We both got the combo foot and body massage, and she hit all the right spots. For the first time ever, I actually fell asleep during a massage--just for a moment, but I was in total zen mode. All my tension melted away. I came to this place because of the yelp reviews. This was my first massage - I picked Swedish because I read it was supposed to be a nice relaxing massage. I know I should have spoken up but since it was my first massage ever I assumed my masseuse Anne knew what she was doing. When I saw I was close to screaming - I believe my tolerance for pressure is high but wow was she using a lot of force. Some parts of the massage were relaxing and at a comforting touch but others she was literally on the table literally using all of her body weight against me. Correct me if I'm wrong and maybe this is how a Swedish is done but when I google it does say I'm not supposed to be sore after - my back is in ungodly pain right now - super sore! Didn't realize it at the time and when I left. But the more I think about it the more I'm realize this felt like a deep tissue massage than a Swedish. Other than she made me feel very comfortable, space was very clean, everyone was polite - no other complaints.
