Random find when craving Indian today. Small little, cozy restaurant in small shopping center, ran by family it seemed. Casual dining. I liked the peacock colored deco and feathers on wall. Although I would've liked a peacock mural or art perhaps. Sweet staff. Nice options of a variety of food. They allowed us to customize our food and get the less spicy option. The mild was perfect for just a hint of spice but not overwhelming heat. Ordered 2 dishes, portion size was perfect for just the two of us. Everything we got was delicious and tasted fresh. Will be back and would recommend.

Over the years, I've tried a lot of Indian food!!my best friend is Indian, so it's a cuisine I've grown to love and appreciate deeply. I've sampled it in many cities, but I have to say, this was hands down the best butter chicken I've ever had. I'd been here once before to try the pani puri, which was great, but today I finally explored more of the menu...and wow, I'm so glad I did. Every bite was packed with rich, authentic flavor. It was incredibly delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The pricing was more than fair for the quality and quantity. I also love that this place has that cozy, hole-in-the-wall charm...it just adds to the experience. I genuinely hope they never change their recipe because it was perfection. I didn't leave a single grain of rice on my plate!

I've been looking for a new Indian spot on my side of town and finally found it! This will be my go-to from now on! Better than any of the others I've had on the West side and consistent! I also love they offer South Indian options as so many don't around here. I've done both delivery and eat-in and both have been great! The restaurant is clean, the service is friendly and fairly prompt, and they do offer wine which is nice. I've tried several things and all of it has been good! I don't think you can go wrong with anything and I'm excited to explore more dishes. So happy I found them!

I'll be back to try something different and revise my review. This is a relatively negative review. I don't like the prices or the paneer pakoda or butter chicken, but I love the selection. ON THE OTHER HAND, I LOVED THE CHATINAD CURRY. But the price was too high for such a small portion. I would come back only to try another dish from the varied menu. I think it might be because I've had too much to compare it to, but I thought the paneer palak and butter chicken were lackluster. The paneer palak had an off taste to it this time, and I was there with several Indian friends who could confirm that paneer usually is full of flavor whereas this one was more monotone. It could've just been the way this palak was intended! The butter chicken tasted too strongly of coconut and cream, and I couldn't really taste the spices as much - but I've simply had so much to compare it to. I enjoyed the butter chicken, but it wasn't my favorite butter chicken experience. I might recommend the tikka masala here instead. The chatinad curry had so much spice and I loved it - it's a very distinct flavor that I enjoyed. I'd like to come back to try the dosa, fish curry, and Rogan josh!

Great new Indian spot on Eldridge across from the Greek church. The restaurant is kind of small. We waited about 10 mins for a table on a Saturday night. The tables are awkwardly set up and they need to refine their seating/service system. They had 2 people sitting at a table for 6. We ordered the mango lassi, tandoori fish, butter chicken, chili paneer, and Hakka noodles. I really liked the chili paneer - good portion, not too spicy and nice fried texture. The butter chicken was really good. The Hakka noodles had a nice taste but a bit dry. I asked for some soy sauce but was told they only had ketchup. No thanks lol. The fish was alright. I'd like to go back and try the biryani. They have an extensive menu with plenty of options.

This has easily become my go-to place for Indian food. The Chicken Mirapakodi was a great starter. The sauce was creamy, and the chicken was served in bite-size pieces. My mom and I really like their Chana Masala. It's a vegetarian curry with lots of chickpeas. One thing you HAVE to get is the garlic naan. Absolute gas. It's soft and packed with garlic. My favorite dish, though, definitely had to be the Special Biryani. The rice was so fluffy, and I loved the spiciness of the chicken it came with. My mom isn't able to tolerate spice well, but this place was great at making the other dishes mild enough without compromising on flavor. Can't wait to come back again.

Out usual place is temporary closed so we found this place on a whim. The inside is small but very family oriented! We were a huge party but they were able to sit us right away. The food was delicious! Mango lassi was perfect The garlic naan had flavor Samosas delicious The chicken lollipops were really good! Butter chicken was goo And I tried a new sauce it was also very good Idk if it will replace my usual space but it will be a nice option.

Not so long ago I tried Chicken Biriyani for the first time. Since, I've been craving it. I came across to this spot that I literally drive by all the time. It's truly a hidden gem. I ordered to-go. Service right off the bat was great, no complaints there. As I pulled up and walked into the establishment, very clean and small. I love to see a clean place! I checked out and couldn't wait to try the food. I opened up everything and smelled amazing!! The Naan was fresh and warm. Mango Lassi super creamy and cold. Not overly sweet too. Now let's get to the best part. The flavors in the Chicken Biryani were there. It was a medium spice level for me. Not overwhelming. The chicken was falling off the bone, I topped it off with a white sauce that I was given. Some sort of yogurt that was diluted, if I'm not mistaken. When I tell you that you definitely get for what you paid for. The amount of food was incredible for the price. Without a doubt the best I've had yet.

Aloo Gobi Masala and Chicken Tikka Masala

We sampled a wide variety of food. We had the vegetable samosas for an appetizer delicious for the entrée. We had chicken, tiki masala. The Aloo Gobi Masala and Chana Masala plain man and the garlic man everything was delicious

Drove by this place while running errands and decided to get some food to bring home. This place was nice and clean and the service was good and fast. Got some butter chicken to go. So they packed me some rice and the actual butter chicken separately along with some delicious bread. The container of rice and butter chicken was in a nice container that they also wrapped in plastic to make sure nothing would leak. The bread was wrapped in foil. My drive was 35-40 minutes and when I got home the food was still warm and ready to eat. I was delighted and impressed. The food was delicious and spicy. The flat bread was so delicious. I will be back.

We were craving South Indian Food and found this restaurant on Google, so decided to try it out. Food was delicious and Service was great. The waitresses were attentive and very sweet towards my little one. Only comment I have is for the onion dosa which could have used more onions. Restaurant was busy on this Saturday night which is always a good sign with both an Indian and non Indian crowd. Will surely be back.

Should've checked for plugs to see whether it could be a study/work spot. I found this place after going to a lovely Georgian spot in NY. Had to share the Kachapuri experience with the fam at home. But the hubby didn't feel like that much cheese (5 types, to be exact) tonight, and he opted for the plov plus some sort of dumpling (I picked khinkali based on the kind cashier's recommendation). Plov: I very rarely order rice dishes anywhere outside of the goat biriyani at Himalayas, but this turned out to be the best dish there. The lamb was so tender and the sauerkraut paired perfectly. The flavors were on point - but the dish was pretty small, and that I have a problem with. If a rice dish is $17 before tax, at least make it sizable. 4/5 due one point being docked for portion size. Khinkali: Really wanted to like this but at $17 for 4 dumplings, they needed to be phenomenal - and they didn't deliver. I like that they handmake it at the restaurant. I don't like that it was SO oversalted. So. Salty. And parts of the dough were undercooked. 2/5 Borscht: I added the borscht because a) I love borscht but more because b) the khinkali was so salty (have I said that yet?) and I was looking for something to balance it out. I even asked as I was ordering if it's not very salty. I hadn't ordered it originally because I didn't think a bowl of soup was worth $15 before tax. But I got it anyway, and I can say: 1. It's good - but still quite salty, and 2. It comes in an even smaller bowl than I had thought; 3. I still don't think it's worth it. 3.5/5 overall So that comes out to 3.17 stars on the food front. I'd give the cashier/cook/waitress 5/5 (maybe she owns it? Or is the manager?) though. For ambiance, I would give 3/5. If I ask myself how the visit was, I'd say it was ok but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. For me that's a solid 3/5.

The broth also had no flavor and was just liquid fat. (Yes I am aware lamb is a fatty meat but this was an extreme amount). I ate a bite and gave up. I couldn't get myself to eat another bite. It wasn't for me. 2 khachapuri--it was served piping hot. Was pretty good. The bread was soft and rich with the creamy and heavy filling. 3. Chicken samsa-- no for me. I had a few bites and then realized the chicken is really chicken etc. meaning it was chicken and whatever parts of the chicken (cartilage, collagen, fat etc.) if you're not used to eating this, it's a very strange texture. The pastry was flaky and crisp and the sauce it came with had some flavor but the filling lacked salt and basically seasoning. It came with a carrot salad(?) which had a strange after taste. I love all things veggies and I couldn't take more than a bite. The ambiance is a food hall with very loud music and super casual vibes. The price is very high for a food hall. We paid $55 (including two water bottles). If your meat has fillers (meat parts)--shouldn't it be cheaper? This place isn't for me sadly. I won't be coming back. Wishing them the best.
