I will not drag the competition, but Dublin's Pass was the clear winner. I won't use specifics, but you get so much more bang for your buck, purely from a financial aspect. Let me first say, the eggs arrive on a plate with a light breading that adds the perfect balance of crunch yet balanced with the soft egg. All brought to you with a mustard that is the perfect combination of pickled veg and punchy mustard. The meat was cooked perfectly. The combination between the meat, egg and mustard marry one another beautifully to lend to a flavor roller coaster in your mouth. What really sets these Scotch eggs apart is the attention to detail. They taste like they are meant for a flavor rollercoaster. Each element feels intentional. Whether you're a longtime Scotch egg lover or trying one for the first time, this restaurant sets the bar high. Simply put: these are the Scotch eggs other places should be aspiring. Eggs aside, we also had an order of the boneless wings. Not a hard thing to get right, but we had roasted garlic parmesan with garlic aioli, to die for. I am from out of town, and this place is absolutely a must. It will never not be on to do list.

This was my second visit to Crave Mediterranean Cafe on Republic Road…read more Overall, it's a solid fast-casual experience -- not fine dining, but that's clearly not what they're aiming for. We spent about $40 for two people and had table service, which was a nice touch. Our waitress was very friendly and had a great attitude, though it seemed like she might have been having an off night as there were a few small mistakes along the way. The food was good across the board -- nothing bad at all, just not especially memorable. The space itself is a plus: larger dining room, comfortable seating, and a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. If you're comparing Mediterranean options in Springfield, I'd probably give the edge on food to Greek Belly, but Crave offers a more spacious and relaxed dine-in atmosphere. Overall, a good, reliable option -- especially if you value the setting as much as the food.

It wasn't too busy, our waitress took us to a table. There were 5 of us. Menu was very simple and easy to read through. They have open kitchen, so you can see the cooks working it up in the kitchen. There are different variety of gyros and shrawma that they have. I usually order a either of it. So it's surprising to see more different one! I stick with the basic gyro and my daughter got the Philly cheese steak gyro and the beef shrawma dinner plates. We also order some appetizer and dessert. Food tastes very fresh and good. A must try spot.

I've not ever had Thai food before so, I was excited to try out a new cuisine. I'm not entirely…read moresure that I really scratched the surface of Thai food with my one meal but, for anyone looking a great, authentic meal, this looks like it may be the place! The first thing I noticed was the sign on the outside that said they were soon going to be closed for 3 weeks for a family vacation. That excited me, knowing now that I was walking into a family owned business. What you walk into is a small, but cozy, dining area - the sign on the wall says they can fit 44 people in there. We had a table reserved and thusly, did not have to wait. Throughout the dinner, I did notice customers waiting for both a table and for takeout and I'll say, it's worth the wait! We were served by a sweet lady, of whose name I cannot remember. She was very attentive to our group of 8 guests. We ordered 3 different appetizers: Veggie Spring Rolls, Steamed Dumplings and the Money Bags. I tried the Spring Rolls and Money Bags and though I wasn't the biggest fan, everyone else at the table enjoyed them (I likely would have enjoyed the Chicken Spring Rolls more!). Me not being the biggest fan reflects more on my pickiness than the quality of them as, like mentioned, everyone else really enjoyed them all. For my entree, I ordered from "Grandpa's Favorite Chicken" from the "Chef Special" category. My reasoning behind this order, of which no one else at my table considered was as follows: 1, it's chicken with a sweet and sour sauce! 2, it's on the "Chef Special" category which though it didn't have a description, I assumed meant that it's something the Chefs enjoy making. 3, it was starred on the menu which means that they recommend it - it was a great recommendation. My order came out in approx. 10-15 minutes with a side of white rice that I added on. The picture I have is after everyone at the table picked off a piece of chicken because of how delicious it looked. The portions were great, enough for two people that aren't starving. There was plenty of sauce - of which was very flavorful. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the rice did a great job at soaking up some of the extra sauce that was in the bottom of the plate. Overall, this meal was delicious! I would highly recommend to both locals who can go and try multiple different meals there and anyone who is just stopping through town. You won't be disappointed!
