Nothing tastes like summertime quite like Pineapple Whip! As kid, I can't think of a single thing better than the Ozark Empire Fair and a sweet, delicious cone of Pineapple Whip. I don't remember exactly when Pineapple Whip started setting up shop at various locations around town (it used to be something you could only get at the fairgrounds), but I know it's been long enough that I can get it any time I have a craving throughout the summer. I like the Campbell location best, because it is in a good place for an after dinner or a movie treat. It's the afternoon right now and I am sitting in my air conditioned truck watching the traffic go by. It's a nice break from your regularly scheduled day to just eat dessert at 1:40 pm. If you haven't done it, I recommend it. I am loyal to the original pineapple whip flavor. I guess you could call me a purist. I like it on a cone instead of a cup. You couldn't pay me to get a twist, although my husband likes the twist best and he likes trying the different flavors they have when we visit.
