Only reason it doesn't get 10 stars is 5 is as high as it goes. The go to meal for me for the last 25 years once a year while on vacation I get a footlong hotdog, chili fries and a large iced tea it's not the best in the world but the combination of the surroundings with the history of this location and the food all adds up to a great memory and place to keep coming back to to get a relaxing meal with scenery that anyone can enjoy no matter who you are. I hope this place last another 25 years and doesnt fall like the pavilion did. read more

Peaches Corner was an indulgence. Had a foot long hotdog and cheese fries and they were everything I hoped and more. Had mustard and sauerkraut on my dog which also tasted great. Service was quick, walked in and sat at the counter and was served right away. Food also came very quick, which I did not expect because the place was packed. Service went smooth, no complaints and was asked several times if I needed anything. If you're looking for good burgers, fries and dogs then look no further than Peaches Corner. Overall, food is better than mc Donald's but that is about all. The atmosphere is that of an old concession stand which is neat, and the prices are decent for what you get. I'd compare this to concession stand food. I've been a couple times... bland taste but like I said better than mc Donald's. Cheese fries are the best thing I have ate here!!! Actually enjoy them. They're not loaded; only come with nacho cheese but pretty good if you're craving them. Make sure to ask for water in a cup or you'll be charged for bottled water. I'll eat here when nothing else is open, not my first choice. Workers don't really act like they want to be there (two young male/female dark hair) but there was a woman who wore a bun who busted her butt to make sure things were as good as they could be for us. This place has went down hill bad. Such a shame for a beach icon. Ordered a footlong hotdog, Miller Lite and Corn dog. The beer tasted like pure vinegar. Waitress said they just cleaned the lines and marked it off our ticket. Hotdog was mediocre at best. Conveniently located right off the boardwalk but that's about the only good thing. The waiter was less than helpful when we asked what was "the thing" to order. It was tight quarters and very loud. What has become of my beloved Peaches corner that I have gone to over 30 years??? I could never go to the beach without going there. Even bought a t-shirt. They had the best catfish sandwich! The best!!!! I have so many wonderful memories going here with my family and friends growing up. Caught up in the nostalgia, we ducked in one night last summer and it was NOT GOOD. It smelled like trash, as if we sat down in a dumpster. I asked the server what that smell was and she said, "It's been busy." I said I wasn't sure I could eat there with that smell and she just stared at me. I went to the bathroom and since it's situated partially in the work room area, I saw how disgusting everything looked back there. The bathroom as well. At this point I also learned that not only have the prices increased since my last visit in a few years, but I also no longer had the option of making it a plate with fries. The meal was going to be expensive paying sep. for everything, especially for a family of 4. The server made no apologies and gave us no ideas by suggesting how big an order of fries was and how many it could accommodate in order to pay for all of it and leave happy. Kind of had an attitude as if we were wasting her time. It's lost its charm. The servers there didn't look happy. They looked aggravated and tempered. I'm wondering if they changed owners.... so sad. Personally I didn't have as many complaints about the service as some others seem to, our waitress was smiley and friendly. My root beer float was made with vanilla bean ice cream and I will tell you right now that was by far the only thing that made this visit worth it. Anyway, hot dogs are fried, not grilled and I asked for it well done but it certainly was no where near that. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger and we were both digging the French fries until we found a hair in them. I understand that those things happen sometimes so we just let it go. Fried pickles were pretty good but they were left off of our order so we had to ask for them after the rest of our food came out. I wish I could give less than one star. I am extremely disappointed in what used to be my favorite greasy spoon in myrtle beach. It wasn't very busy today yet when I sat down at the bar the two girls working never acknowledged me. I sat for 10 min and after attempting to gain their attention several times finally one of the girls asked "what do you want". I placed my order for a cheese burger basket and soda. Another 10min and no soda. I got the other girls attention to ask for my drink and she said "that's not my section". I get the original girls attention o e more time and ask if I may have a soda and her reply was "can't you see I'm busy?". I walked out after 32min exactly and never even received the soda. Had the "Bruiser", a strange concoction of bacon-wrapped, deep-fried hotdog served with chili and onions on top. You may want to see a cardiologist after this thing. Wife got a regular dog, which was ...regular. It's a greasy spoon diner that serves you beer in a goblet. If you're not willing to venture into some amount of irony, you should probably not step in the door. However, if you are, then Peaches is a great local lunch spot with a lot of character. Had not eaten here in a very loooong time. We had come to the Gay Dolphin to shop and got hungry and its just a few doors down so we stopped in. Service was friendly enough, but the food is just not good for the price. This drunk food! If your drunk you will think its good, other wise not so much! My wife got a regular hot dog with kraut and spicy mustard and I got a foot long with mustard, chili and onions. Who serves a hot dog on a cold bun?? At least steam it just not pull it out of the package and slap the hot dog on it. My hot dog was just not good nor was the chili, and the cold bun didn't help matters any and at $5 way over priced. I've had gas station hot dogs that were much better than this one! Fries were hot and crispy. Tea had a funky taste, my wife thought it tasted like powered instant tea, YUCK! Hot dogs are my favorite food. In the world. They are cheap and delicious and filling and you can put everything but the kitchen sink on them. Favorite. Food. With that being said it is almost impossible to screw up a hot dog. A child over the age of 5 can probably make a good hot dog. I didn't think it was possible to have a bad hot dog. All of that changed today upon visiting Peaches. We were staying in north myrtle and I was dying for some authentic redneck MB experiences so we headed down to the strip for what promised to be some exceptional hot dogs. I was stoked! My enthusiasm was short lived. First I ordered a cup of water. They have cups. They have ice. I assumed they had a water system since its a requirement to offer that for customers, I was told I could have a bottled water and was then glared at and asked if that was ok. It wasn't. But that didn't seem to matter. Then we ordered. I got the footlong with chili onions and mustard. Pretty simple. My gf ordered a double cheese burger fries and onion rings. We sat at the counter, watched them pull her patties from a bag and make our food. The place is disgusting. Grease dripping down from the hood above the flat top... never once saw anyone wash their hands, think of your absolute favorite grease pit in your hometown, the one that is pretty questionable in appearance but you let it slide because they serve your all time favorite fried food and make sweet tea better than your g-ma's.... Now multiply the general state of nastiness by 110%... Ok, that's the place we're dealing with. Needless to say that by the time my hot dog was placed in front of me I was skeptical but hoping for the best... I took one bite and immediately felt as though I was going to barf. The dog had been in luke warm standing water for the better part of at least 48 hours. It tasted like chemicals. The fries were no better and after the gf's burger was finished the onion rings still had not arrived. At this point I am about to walk out. The fact that the hot dog is still sitting in front of me is enough to make my stomach cringe. So the jerks behind the counter (probably 3rd generation frat douche owners) ignore my gf's request for a refill and that is the last straw for me. I grab the bill and her cup and head to the register to inform them that I will not be paying for the un-edible hot dog or the onion rings that never came and the response is unreal.... The redneck teenage girl running the register has the audacity to say that since it came to the table I have to pay for it, even though it was disgusting. I have never been disregarded as a customer in this way and being in the service industry myself its hard for me to swallow the fact that it seemed to be perfectly acceptable and normal. There were some choice words exchanged and my gf took care of the rest as I went outside to ponder why on earth this place is still in business... I'll tell you just like I told the woman who followed me out to ask me what happened before she placed her order: I've had better hot dogs at the cafe inside Target. So skip this "gem" the next time you visit the redneck riviera and opt for something else. You'll be glad you did. read more

They have a sign advertising breakfast, but when I walked in and asked about breakfast they were confused. The girl who took my order was disinterested and everyone seemed to ignore me. There were no other customers and 4 employees. They offered coffee which was cheap at $0.99, but the creamer was expired for over a month and the coffee was barely warm. The food was okay and the staff perked up after the initial breakfast confusion (2 of them did anyway). I wouldn't go back because of the expired creamer.
