Ordered from this place on Doordash 45 minutes before posted closing time 2 days ago. Order was accepted and charged to my credit card, when the DoorDash driver arrived the restaurant was closed. This inconvenienced the driver and myself - by the time the driver arrived and found them to be closed everywhere else was closed except fast food chains. We ate here the other night. My son and I both ordered the foot long hot dogs which they are famous for. They were just ok. I didn't care for the chili, I don't know if it was canned or frozen. My daughter in law had the hamburger which she said was alright. Service was very slow for what we ordered. It wasn't terribly crowded so we choose it for a quick dinner. OMG!!! Price, price, price! The food, the value and the beer are phenomenal. They had this cheeseburger which they are famous for and boy it was good! The fries were fresh and the beer was cold. It was our first meal in Myrtle Beach, first time visiting and we were very happy with the outcome. Next time, we visit this is definitely a must. Not to mention the family like atmosphere, literally the Mother, Son and Daughter all work there which makes the dynamics work! No pun intended. Fantastic food! Great location, right on the boardwalk. It has been there since the 30's and has been in the same family since the 40's. I would recommend checking out their website and reading the full history of the place. We had a couple of footlong hotdogs, a hot dog, a corn dog, and the shrimp basket. The chili and coleslaw were amazing on the hot dogs. The service was fantastic, and the food was out quickly. We were there for an early lunch in the middle of the week so it wasn't too busy. Pricy for a regular restaurant but pretty normal for the boardwalk. If we ever visit Myrtle Beach again this will be a for sure stop again! read more

We went here thinking it seemed like an icon for old town Myrtle Beach but boy were we disappointed. The service was good, waitress friendly and our food was on the table in less then 5 minutes. My husband ordered the footling hot dog and it tasted microwaved, maybe boiled but either way, no flavor. I ordered the cheese burger and fries. The fries were good and a fair sized portion. The burger I'm sure was just a Food service or Costco frozen patty. Tough in texture and far from juicy, actually quite dry but edible with lettuce, tomato. They add no sauce no mayo just dry bun with a very skinny bottom section. The thing that was the topper is that they serve it on a styrofoam saucer. Yes saucer. Talk about cheap. Why can't they provide their guests with an actual plate to eat off of? Why? We paid about $30 and walked away sad we wasted one of our meals out here. Peaches please do better! This restaurant is a staple in Myrtle beach. Can't go to Myrtle without eating here! They have great burgers and hot dogs as well as ice cold beer. The restaurant is very casual and just an all time favorite. The peaches burger is always good but I've never had anything here that I didn't like. We ate there last night and I was disappointed in the service and especially the cleanliness. We were seated at the counter and it took a little while to be waited on. Had a view of the sandwich board and grill - there were stains on the cutting board which was not wiped down once that I saw, the inside of the lid was dirty, there were food stains running down the side of the grill. The food trays were used repeatedly without being wiped clean. Counter server went from taking money to running the sandwich board without washing his hands. Hamburgers are pre cooked and thrown into a metal tray, only to be resurrected later for incoming orders. I'm telling you I don't want to think about how clean the inside of the hamburger metal tray thingy was. Finally got our food, after the folks next to us even though they came behind us. Food was so-so. My son was still hungry after one grilled cheese but didn't want another one. Hamburger was bland, and my husband got the special even tho it is not what he ordered. Chicken sandwich was OK, so we're chicken fingers. The bathroom is an abomination. You have to walk through a utility closet to get to the one bathroom they have, and the door doesn't lock. I felt like I was going to get mugged back there. I recommend skipping this restaurant. It was pretty nasty all around. read more

My wife and make sure we come to Peaches EVERY TIME we come to the area (15 times over the last 20 years). However - the management better learn something about customer service or we may never come back... We just sat down at the counter (with our two teenage daughters). The place was only half full. Ended up walking out and eating somewhere else when after ten minutes, workers walked by 25 times and not a single person said "hi" or greeted us in any way, let alone offering to start us with drinks. Then continually ignored. If you're looking for the trash can you'll find it on your way out. It's the "counter space" right next to the walk up and pay register. I love Peaches. I eat there almost every time I go to Myrtle Beach, which is at least once a year. It's a mix of nostalgia and comfort food that attracts me. They have good chili and the chili cheese fries are my favorite. Sometimes the service has been really good and attentive, but the last time they could've barely cared we were there. We were the only ones in there too, except for one person at the bar. They took the prices off the wall menu and have paper menus on the table. The menu is more limited than usual and the prices have gone up by a couple dollars per item. I understand they were shut down for a while, but I also can't afford that extra for a hot dog meal. That stinks. We got 2 short dogs, one chili cheese fries, and 2 (unrefillable) sweet teas for $24 plus tip. They claim they can't refill because of Covid. Uh... no other restaurant has ever claimed that. Good try though. That turned us on the experience quite a bit. I'm sure I'll be back there at some point, but it may be a while. The hot dog was good, i prefer chili with beans so it wasn't my favorite, but my boyfriend liked the chili. The burger? Amazing! I kept stealing bites of it. The fries were a bit underdone, but not that noticeable with the cheese sauce(average nacho cheese sauce).
