I love peaches. On our way home from vacation, decided to stop for the first time. They "place" is great! For my wife and I it was the "people" that will keep us from stopping again. Our visit was 8/9/24 around 5:30pm. When you go in to the main store, it's a great setup with lots to do and checkout. Plenty of hang out areas. This review will focus on the staff located in the boutique, bakery and ice cream room. If you have to open a door to enter, aside from the dining area with the white picnic tables, BEWARE of the most stuck up, unfriendly staff you can encounter. In the Boutique, my wife was the only shopper. The staff never greeted her and was so cold my wife put items down rather than purchase them. In the bakery same thing, no greeting. The silence of being the only customer in the room was off putting to say the least. The icing on the cake was walking into the ice cream room. Two girls, one brown hair, one Blonde hair, tons of makeup, could not have been displayed a worse attitude. It felt like they didn't want to be there and serving customers was not on their to do list. It's our first time and they kept prodding us.."do you know what you want yet?" Over and over. We were letting everyone who came in go before us as we made up our minds. I really wanted cobbler and they were almost out except for one small corner piece where there was little crust and looked dried out. I asked if they were going to put more out. The brown headed girl said we're not allowed to put any new cobbler out until this one is all gone. So I just got ice cream. Later I walk into the dining area which is connected to the ice cream line and there is a half of the peach cobbler. The ice cream girl never told us that they could check or that we could get cobbler if we walked around the corner. Also, when my wife ordered her ice cream the girl started scoops mg the wrong ice cream. She said "you told me you wanted this". She was very aggravated. I brought it to her attention with a smile that from our side the labels were opposite. There was no expression, not "oh no, sorry about that". Just cold with no personality. It truly was like they did not want to be there and they did not like people. It's my understanding that their positions are part of the very few that can get tips. If this is what gives them the entitled attitude, it needs to go!! To the owner: The staff in the areas mentioned above do not belong in those positions. They literally ruined the entire experience. Other shoppers said they feel the same way and know many others who have complained. My wife NEVER complains but she couldn't get over the feeling of those workers looking down on her for some reason. Positive: once I finally got it, the cobbler was good. Ice cream was just ok. The only saving grace for this place was the front service staff who were awesome! Autumn helped me with my peach purchase and was so friendly, along with her male coworker. I hung out a bit and they greeted every customer with a smile. If they don't already, they should be working in the tipped positions!!! read more

Great place for a break on trips via I-65. Granted, in some ways it's a bit of a tourist destination, i.e. pre-made cafeteria-style food that's just so-so. On the flip side, desserts are good, fresh seasonal produce is great, and home-canned goods (peaches, pickles, nuts, and all sorts of other preserved goodies) are fantastic. Famous for its Peaches and its Peach Cobbler (or other fruit) ... well, my verdict is "good but not great". Flavor is outstanding- sweet with nice firmness to fruit. But the "cobbler" to me is reminiscent of peach pie with wet dough bottom crust and some baked dough in top. 5-star flavor in a 2-star "crust." Nonetheless, I urge you to stop & check things out for yourself - from their helpful and friendly staff to the myriad of flavors from fruit to BBQ to ice cream, candy, & more. (I had the loaded baked potato at lunch...large, generous amount of Pork BBQ, but a bit on the dry side. The sweet-tart Vidalia Onion BBQ sauce fixed that in a jiffy. Brisket was on fatty side while chicken was tender & moist for my companions.) Peach Park's quick cheerful service will get you back on the road in no time. read more

Well, I'd say this is a MUST STOP. My mom and I just stopped there recently on the way down to the beach. They have a very, very nice outdoor area. They have eating places inside and outside on a very nice covered porch. There is a manmade water feature outside the backs up to the indoor eating area. They have really neat walking paths...so you can stretch your legs well when you stop. They have an entire kids' area up the hill that had a lighthouse and a barn that has slides on it. I just thought the outdoor area was really neat. You under the tree canopy for most all of it...so it's comfortable in the heat. They sell lots of stuff -- fried fruit pies, ice cream, clothes, shoes, gifts, fresh produce, jarred foods, tons of cakes and pies...and so much more. I just loved it there. And the peach ice cream was spot on! Personally, I found the fried peach pie that I bought there to not be the real deal, though. It seemed to be made with pie filling instead of dried peaches. :-( So I wouldn't get that again. But the ice cream was very good...as was the fresh produce. Stopped in for the mandatory peach Hand pie on our way home from the panhandle. These things are amazing! They have about everything you need to satisfy a family. Fresh produce, tasty and refry ice cream, hamburgers, BBQ, really good onion rings etc. Just a great place to stop on the way down or back home from Florida. Went for the peach cobbler and it didn't disappoint. Been years since I had it so I was looking forward to it. Added their vanilla ice cream and it was the perfect treat. Others in my group had the fried apple pie and they liked it too. It was busy but they moved everyone through the food line quickly. They had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Me and my husband have been married 30 years. Every year and sometimes 2 times a year we have gone to the beach. It has never failed that on the way home we stop by Peach Park for a restroom break and treat. I always make sure to have cash to leave a tip at the register and in the restroom. We have never had a bad experience until yesterday. I walked to the drink station to see if they had unsweetened tea made while my husband paid. My husband paid with a debit card and declined a tip because I was leaving cash as a tip. The girl that waited on us changed her attitude immediately after seeing that and ignored us. We had to get our own receipt from the register and she didn't offer lids for my to go cobbler. I had to ask! She was so rude over a tip that she would have gotten in cash had she been nicer. The food was good and everything was clean. I won't let one entitled employee stop me from my tradition but a manager needs to talk to their employees about being a little nicer. read more

Purchased a watermelon that cost fifteen bucks, bananas,peaches and lemons from this place. The watermelon was so over ripe it was near rotten, the peaches were the worst i have ever had, dry as foam and mushy with no flavor. The bananas while still green turned brown within a day and were rotten on the inside. The lemons were rotten the day after. Never buy fruit here, you find less rotten fruit in garbage cans. read more

This place was so awesome! I had zero expectations so that might have been part of it... The best peach cobbler I have ever had in my life! I had it with vanilla and peach ice cream. I liked the vanilla better with the cobbler but the peach was good by itself. We also tried the Mac and cheese and waffle fries and loved them. We like to stop here on our way home from picking peaches or strawberries. Obviously the prices for fresh peaches, strawberries, etc. are a bit higher than they would be if you go straight to the source, but still very reasonable once you consider they are the middleman. Employees inside the restaurant/ dessert store are pretty friendly. They make all their ice cream and they put a lot of the fruit inside the fruit ice creams so the fruit is in every bite! The value is pretty good for what you get. There are plenty of seats inside and out. Kids always enjoy visiting here and so do we honestly! read more

This was a great little stopping point between Birmingham and Montgomery. Located just off of I-65 (exit 205). Easy access and plenty of parking. You can really spend as long or short a period of time as you want here. Great place to stretch legs and browse the stuff they have. When you first enter they have fresh produce as well as canned goods to look through. As you walk through this area you'll find a small boutique as well as some branded clothing items. A pretty good variety of candies, nuts, ciders (some really unique flavors). Prices are pretty reasonable throughout this place. They also have a cafe that serves food and dessert. Lots of cobblers as well as a pretty good selection (maybe 12 flavors) of ice cream to top it off. One of the things I liked was that some of the items they offer in multiple sizes, so if you've never tried it, you can get a much smaller sample size to try out and then if you end up liking it, when you come back, you can get a larger size so that it lasts longer. Great place, staff were all friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you find yourself driving through the area. read more

My friend and I made stop while visiting s friend in Montgomery. I got the buttered pecan ice cream and pecan pull over. The ice cream was so delicious. I also got lunch which was a chicken plate. The coleslaw and onion rings were sooooo good. The chicken was good. I got some of the honey BBQ sauce and white sauce which was sooooo delicious. I ate my pecan pull over at home. I popped it in the oven to have a good crust. I ate it with ice cream and it was delicious. I ate it in two days because I knew if I ate it too fast, I'll be sad. A nice stop off the freeway for a rest stop and lunch. A variety of little shops all under one roof..and, everyone has peach cobbler and ice cream. There is a nice variety of food options from salads to sandwiches and some bbq dishes. If you're looking fir a little gift shop, there is one in the main part of the venue. I really didn't see anything I wanted to purchase but I certainly enjoyed taking a look about the place. If you're traveling with a pet, this is a good rest stop. There is outdoor seating and a few foot paths that lead to a play area for kids and nice spots to sit and relax. There is a large parking lot that might be a challenge finding a space; lots of people stop here. But, there are plenty of places to sit and eat for everyone. They also had BBQ, chicken tenders and the onion rings looked delish. This is one of those places that i've been told over and over to visit as I grew up. They're known for their sweet treats like pies, ice cream, jams, pecans, etc. And it is good, but definitely not the best I've had. My husband and I stopped here passing through and decided to eat lunch. It was a cute place, nice little store in the front and then a large dining area in the back of the store. There was also outdoor dining as well. The food was.... Mediocre. We had chicken fingers and fries. And they were fine. Not great, not bad, just fine. It was "lunch room style" where you walk up and order and move down the line. The food tasted fresh though, despite sitting in warming dishes. The servers were nice and answered any questions. According to friends the BBQ is really good, if we go back we will probably try that. We sat outside to eat and that was nice. We then got ice cream. Now, the ice cream was amazing. It was so good, and HUGE servings. I would stop again for the ice cream. Overall a nice experience, wouldn't go out of my way but I'd stop again if I'm in the area! read more
