As someone who does not trust online reviews, I'm not sure how to confirm that this review is real, other than telling you, I am real and our experience was REALly amazing. From the beginning of the online rental process to the return of the van after our week long trip, Peace Vans was responsive and helpful. The Mercedes Metris ("Palouse" was the name of ours) was excellent to drive and incredibly well stocked. It was comfortable to sleep in -- we were three adult - but you could easily add a couple more people (we slept as singles: fold out bed, pop-up and passenger seat). Best experience, highly recommend!

Peace Vans Rentals and the Metris camper van were both great. The reservation process, pre-trip planning help, van pick up and communication during the trip were excellent. All were done very professionally and it became obvious Peace Vans is a well run outfit. We found out a camper van is surprisingly comfortable to sleep in and the small kitchen meets all your food prep needs on rainy days. A special thank you to Jess. We'll see you again.

2020 has been a real nightmare year. We really needed to figure out some sort of socially responsible vacation. I read an article about Peace Vans and it just seemed like the perfect thing. We rented a van for 6 days to tour the Olympic Peninsula with our 10 and 13 year old kids. What a dream of a trip! The van was awesome, the campsites were absolutely gorgeous and the folks at Peace Vans did everything they could to ensure we had a wonderful experience. We can't wait to rent again!

I saw Peace Vans after searching for 70s VW Vans on Google to propose to my girlfriend (she said yes!). After talking to Jess via email it was really easy to reserve and sign documents online. I noticed that even though they were in the off season, their communication and customer service was spot on. I was thoroughly impressed. The van was SO fun to drive also and for a fair price. If you're interested in driving one of these classic vans, Peace Vans is the most professional company based in Washington to do business with. Message me if you would like to know more details from a customer's view. Thanks Peace Vans!

Cannot recommend Peace Vans company enough times over. We did the Olympic National Park Loop in their Mercedes Metris Van. The car was so clean / detailed that we thought it was on a maiden voyage. It was perfect for our family of 5 (though really ideal for 4) and drove like a mini-van / slept great (was warm and cozy) and had all the little things we needed to tool around ONP (mini-fridge, stove, cabinets) and fully stocked with all you need to camp (dishes/spices/ first aid kit, etc). The company is actually a really small core group of folks and amazing to work with (shout out to Jess and Sam!). They both rent and sell camper vans. They answered all my questions super quick, even setup a Zoom Q&A just for us and threw in a lot of extras for free! All super chill, no paperwork when I arrived or left. They just really want you to have a great time and want to share their love for camper vans and the outdoors with you. Their website was excellent resources and guide for traveling around ONP. Oh! And their private campsite in Kalaoch was amazing and one of our favorites (amazing views of the beach, semi-private beach experience). We are seriously planning our trip back again next summer and look forward to working with them again.

My friend Joanne and I rented a Eurovan from Peace Vans Rentals a week ago and took a road trip up and down the Oregon Coast. It was our first time camping. Our van was very clean and comfortable and was stocked with everything we could possibly need for camping. Thanks Harley and Peace Vans Rentals!

I was concerned I might not make it, but I did. I took my car to them the next morning and explained my situation and timing (I was driving home that night after the show). They went out of their way and did an extremely thorough inspection of my car....knowing there would be no time for them to do the repairs and make money off of me for the time they put in (about two hours). They provided me with an extremely thorough report, complete with pictures. When I asked what I owed they told me nothing. When I offered to at least pay for an hour of labor, they refused. If they went to this length for someone they knew was out of town (and would not be a repeat customer).....let alone someone they knew they could not help because of time constraints....I can only imagine how well they treat their local customer base. I highly encourage anyone to give these guys a chance to earn your business! Tim (aka....broken in Seattle)

The first time I went in for a catalytic converter issue and it took three visits to get it right. They made good on their word--sort of--but it introduced a theme with them that I encountered later: the good cop/bad cop routine between the mechanic, Kenny, and the front desk guy, Wayne. Wayne never seemed to take any accountability, it was always a Kenny thing. That's not what I call accountability. The second, and now last, time I took my car in I had them repair a bunch of things that led to my car stalling in traffic. I dropped 3 thousand dollars on repairs that lasted me 30 miles. The brand new hose to my radiator came off and fouled the motor. Of course, even though they had done all kinds of work on the cars they day before, none of this was their fault. So, to get my car back into drivable condition, it cost me another 4 thousand dollars. Had I known beforehand that I was going to get stuck spending 7 thousand dollars on my car, I would have probably taken a different course. When I took my car to my Real Mechanic, he said that I probably had a legal case against them (though impossible to prosecute) and that my engine "sounded like shit". They said the hose looked large and was probably cranked down too hard, and that was what led to the radiator flange breaking off. Oh, and Lioe's kept my car for three weeks while they were trying to fix it. If I had known that they would take that long (and their communication was terrible) then I would have been out a car just as long as waiting for my Real Mechanic to get me in. At this point I don't trust Lioe's enough to take the car back and have it serviced under warranty, should it have engine troubles. How's that for a spot to be in? They should fix it, but I don't think Kenny is either skilled enough, or scrupulous enough, to properly fix it. Feeling quite burned by the whole experience.

Suggestion open the gates when you get there so customers can wait in your lot. The people working were a bit off-putting and condescending luckily they didn't try to scam me into anything. He announced I needed a new battery like he was surprised I was right. Their battery after rebate was $50 more than Costco so I got it since I didn't want to mess with installing it so the $50 lazy tax was worth it. Also they claimed their batteries were better?? Not sure on that the internets have mixed opinions on the Costco batteries. After they were done they parked my car under a billboard that they were cleaning so dirty water was spraying all over my car, and I got wet getting in. I am not sure if the water was started when they parked it, but it was frustrating to have to pay for a car wash after I had just gotten one a week prior.
