Such a cool tour! I recommend coming here if you or family/friends are into cars! Honestly came here on a whim to just check the place out just out of curiosity and signed up for the tour! It was very fun and saw lots and lots and lots of cool cars from the classics to celebrity owners vehicles to some personal vehicles and well. I would say it last maybe around like a good 30-45 min of checking the place out and then towards the end they have a little I guess restaurant area where you can eat for a bit, there was a very long wait but thankfully the hostess got us in asap so was very thankful for that gesture! I'm a car guy and love stopping by here on a Saturday morning to see what's in the parking lot. Also the viewing area where you can see many of the amazing cars stored in the building is a treat for the eyes. But... the coffee is unremarkable and there's no excuse for that in Seattle. The food in the Derby restaurant is ok if you want big greasy burgers, but I don't eat that stuff. So I was among the original members, and I kept my Ferrari there for a while, but I was paying too much and getting too little. read more

***BUYER BEWARE*** I purchased a 2008 Porsche Cayman track car from Darion, the manager of sales for The Shop. I paid $57,000. I took it to the Ridge for a track day and it lasted for just 18 minutes before the engine blew. I immediately contacted Darion who said he would "Do whatever he could" to help me out. He recommended a shop, and I took it there. Repair estimate is $27,000 minimum. When I contacted him, his response was "Oh man! That sucks." Now he is not responding to my communications. I stopped at 11:00 sharp and just got in before the rush. My server Scott was Johnny-on-the-spot, friendly, professional and efficient but then I saw his section flood and he fell behind (a missed order, a wrong order delivered and several tables waiting longer than I would have been happy with); I blame poor management, when not overloaded he performed above average. #beginrant I've only been in Washington for about 2 years but must say I totally don't agree with the minimum-wage surcharge (3% here) added and TAXED on my bill. It seems this is more a political statement from the business rather actually doing any service to the employees. Seriously if it's only 3% that bring them to satisfying minimum wage reqs then why not jus pay them more; we already expect menu costs to cover the restaurants costs, if it doesn't then, again, I blame management. What's more the State see fit to Tax the consumer a Sales Tax on this surcharge! So while the mgmt is protesting the State's receiving a benefit. I won't support that - not this way. Restaurant and autoshop in one! Came here for a work meeting and was really. Impressed by the food and the cool cars. Located in sodo its a great combination of auto shop and restaurant. The menu is pretty standard burgers and salads and sandwiches but all there burgers looked delicious. The staff here was so nice and patient with our large group. We had a pretty large group so we were able to go on a tour of the facilities. This place has a lot of cars parked here by different owners. Also looks like it's a detail and auto body shop as well. Very cool cars to look at from old muscle classics to newer Bentleys and rolls royces. Many celebrity own vehicles as well. They had lots of TV screens on which has soccer on which is a plus. Always lookin for a new spot to watch the games. I will definitely come here again for the food and drinks. But also for the very nice and warm welcome from the staff! read more

Fantastic spot for anyone who loves cars. We came by The Shop for a tour, which are currently available on Saturdays from 10-2PM. Ethan was an awesome guide and had a lot of great stories to share about the vehicles there. For $10, it's a really fun experience. We did not try the restaurant this time, but would love to check it out the next time we're around. The patio area gives you a great view of all the exotics parked in the lot. A nice change of pace from your usual weekend brunch. If you don't have a car, The Shop is a short walk from the SoDo light rail station. There's not a lot to see on the way, but it's nice that it's easily accessible by public transportation. Really love the space and community they've built at The Shop. I would definitely consider becoming a member and storing my car with them. Keep up the good work! read more

Ok... So I can't really speak for the vehicle offerings like I can for the food, but it seems that some hardcore car aficionados like this place. On to the food... Pea shoots are hard to get, and so is a sufficiently meaty crab cake, but salting an ocean shellfish dish is usually overkill. If asparagus is out of season and you still offer it, use the cooler side of the grill so skinny grasses don't go past grill to char. Or don't char all of them. Something. Or maybe be half the price for these items so I'm more forgiving of your shortcomings? Cool garage, food would be great if not overdone/salted. read more

Another restaurant that felt very impersonal. Not a single employee made eye contact with me. The bartender was just going through the motion of being a bartender. This isn't something I go looking for, but I like surrounding myself with very friendly people. I ordered just a house salad which I thought was good. Just the right amount of touch of balsamic vinaigrette. If I'm in Seattle, I do not see myself coming back. i was one of the early Club Founders for the Shop. i actually had about 12 cars at one time. They pull you in and in the beginning the agreement was after the 5th car in storage the 6th car is free! this went on for about 6 months and then this agreement was over without Notice!! What was i suppose to do i have some beautiful Classic Cars that was worth a lot of $$ and couldn't just park my cars on the street. on top of that they damaged 3 of my cars and denied every one of them. Matt Bell offered to pay $800 for each incident. Mind you this was a 50k 68 GTO, the the Manager Ryan scratched on the side and Matt offer to fix it for $800. What a joke. a 60K1956 Ford Tbird that Matt accused the car that it arrived with a damaged front. When i had pictures showing and even one of the Club member vouching that the car did not have any damaged when it arrived. i then asked Ryan and Matt for the tape and his reply was we don't keep any of the videos for review after 2 weeks. Really, i have cameras and my videos are kept in the cloud and i can retrive it anytime and any previous dates i need to review and a 100K 1961 Lincoln Continental that was our wedding car that had extensive damages over 20K that again Matt refused to take accountability. instead i had to make my insurance pay for it. of course Matt over $800 to cover it. What piece of crap this was. i was paying over $2,500 a month and come to find Matt and the staff had issues with me not being white. i was treated horribly and Matt told Managers and the staff to keep an eye on me. Another issue was the mechanics are mediocre at best!! I paid over 10K for my 56 TBird. i told them to flush all the liquid especially the Gas. Instead they came back to me and said the Carburetor need to be rebuild its additional $$, and then when the car was still running rough, Ryan the manger said it will need a fuel pump to fix it for additional $$, and then when it still ran rough Ryan comes back and said is has bad gas. Are you kidding me i told them to flush all the liquor. Which is a standard practice when yo purchase a Classic Car that has been in storage. So now Ryan comes to me and says we need a new gas tank for additional $$, after that he comes back again and said ot still running rough and should replace all the fuel lines for YUO additional $$. I spent a lot of money and supported that place. i even brought food for some of their staff when Covid started and staff were out of work. Matt thinks his crap don't stink. He runs the place like you have to be in your toes and you are the clients. Ryan and Eddie are horrible Managers. I even caught Eddie charging items in my account without telling me. As far as I am concern that is THEFT. I had to always watched what i was being charged. I love the staff in the restaurant the Shop itself needs some serious training. Matt should take one to about morality and honesty. Very disappointed with a place it thought I would call a place to feel good to hang out. I never once missed my monthly dues, never once missed making payments on the work done on my cars and never once been late for my monthly storage fees even if it amounted around $2,700 a month. They lost a really loyal customer and a great client. Maybe they were jealous because i was a Successful Brown Man with Money. They sure mad every effort to make me feel uncomfortable around the Shop. The restaurant i really enjoyed the staff. They were real people and hard workers. read more

I was very impressed with this shop for 150 bucks you get full use of their car lifts Tire Machines Lyman wash your car inside and they have a mechanic on duty for 75 bucks an hour this is what the guy was telling me and for an extra 250 you can store your car at their place wish they had a place like that in Phoenix I would definitely be a member and you just get to see all these cool cars Ferraris or Lambos just to mention a few if you live in Seattle and have a nice car I would not hesitate to come in there definitely worth the money read more

As a member of The Shop it is a cool hang. Love the cigar lounge and what's cool is being able to order food from The Derby, eating and having your guests tour the garage where all the cars are parked. Some of the cars are amazingly cool. What's not cool, as a member we are the bread and butter of The Shop. The people at the desk seem to forget that with their lackadaisical attitude. Their failure to be welcoming and inviting. As a member, the speakeasy should remain open until the restaurant clears out regardless of the time. The hours of The Shop should be longer open earlier and stay open later. The food is inconsistent, some days better than others, some days saltier than others. As a member, the food bill should be billed to the credit card they have on file. Love the weekend brunches and the happy hour. Love the concept of The Shop, but there is always room for improvement. read more

Haughty waitresses, terrible car placements and the hipster decor totally makes this place feel like an uprated self-storage facility, instead of a haven't for car enthusiasts. TL:DR - love cars? Came here for their nye party. Great decor and atmosphere. Party was really fun. I don't think it was worth the price however because even the drinks were $10 for a small drink... the dj also played pretty decent music. I would come here during a normal weekend to check out the cars . read more
