Although they provide a great service to the community, one of my biggest issue's is that you can not be credited back time that you did not use. In my case I booked a 2 hour time slot to accomplish an oil change and an exhaust swap. Couldn't perform the exhaust swap so I only used one hour of time but was still charged for 2 hours. Shop was not busy at all so it's not like I was taking a bay from someone .Keep this in mind when booking multi hour time slots. I came up earlier this month to check it out. I'd originally discovered Stew's DIY garage down south closer to Seattle area a while back but, since they closed, I came across this spot. They were a great resource and will be missed. Quick call ahead to get a sense of the 1st-timer experience and it worked out good. Book online is fairly smooth, pull up to the front, quick check-in inside the spiffy decorated lobby with fun "gear-head" projects and stuff and then they guide you into your designated garage bay. For all 1st-time users of their bays (and facility), they provide a really decent run-down of the rules & tools you need to be aware of. Given the size & scope of just the tools, most DIY'ers can do just about any size job on their vehicle. I just wanted a bare minimum hour to have a nice chill inspection of my car which helps those of us who like to get a peace of mind and sense of simple empowerment. I didn't wrench on anything; just raised it on the lift, grabbed a stool and inspected the whole under body with the portable light. I also confirmed a previous courtesy shop inspection's leaky CV boot on front-right axle. The young man who guided me around from start-finish was super chill and demonstrated a good professionalism about him. I think the owner came by briefly and he was great. Feedback: Would love to see a bit more "auto shop decor" (banners, etc) and not many rolling stools. Still fairly new so hopefully in the coming months we may see some cool changes. Probably comparing apples to oranges here but it's just a tiny bit too gritty for me. Bathroom isn't bad either. A great community resource worth checking out. Because you have some freedom in your bay, just respect the guidelines and do your thing. You may also strike up fun conversation with your neighbors and stuff. read more

Yeah this place is a joke. The floors are all greasy so you can't get a grip on getting bolts lose plus if your 1 second over they charge you another hour. Plus whoever the new guy is he always gives favors to his pals when other people need help with tools. He's slow to bring the tools out. So yeah I wont be going there anymore. The owner is cool. And the youngster who use to work there but the new dude is a joke. read more

I've came in a couple times to work on my vehicle at the Everett location. The staff is very friendly and helpful! They will have all the tools you need so no need to bring your own. Plus there's a NAPA auto parts start around the corner in case you need anything. I plan on coming back if I need to do a big job on any of my vehicles! Great place to get your hands on work done at an hourly rate you can afford. Very helpful staff and they have all the tools you need. Save yourself so $$$ by doing it yourself. They have lifts and air tools etc. if you need some other stuff they don't have there is auto parts near by; think Orilies and AutoZone. Make reservations ahead of time, only way to guarantee a spot. I needed to lift my truck to install something, and didn't know if there were any resources in the Everett area. One quick search pulled up Ant's Community Garage in Everett, and the booking process online was very easy and straight forward. The price was more than reasonable, and each bay comes with a fully stocked massive toolbox. Best part of the entire experience was being able to meet Allister. He is a good egg, and was very accommodating and understanding when it was apparent that I wasn't much of a mechanic. The guy is just first rate in customer service, knowledgeable about his craft, and has a solid sense of humor to top it all off. You won't find a better place to get your hands dirty and save a ton of money by doing the work yourself. read more

Overall useful service. Very convenient with accessible tools at your disposal. If you're an avid DIY kind of person and looking to save cost this is the place to go. Only thing I will say is it's a shame this establishment uses it for only fans models to take photoshoots half naked in it. Unbeknownst to customers your car might end up in one and by proxy associated with that kind of thing. Really changed my perception on the brand and unfortunate that the service can't speak for itself. It's just good business etiquette to keep things professional. If that doesn't bother you then make this your go to neighborhood shop. Pretty sure the boss knows and enables it. Other than that the service to cost they provide is great. Unfortunately won't be returning again. Out of respect for employee and customer. I will not show any proof. I know what I know.
