Experience Atlanta's best Bahn Mi!…read more Location and Parking Lee's Bakery is located in a strip mall on Buford Hwy, with plenty of free parking. Venue and Atmosphere The establishment is simple enough; order at the counter, take a number and a seat, and they will deliver the food to your table. The décor isn't fancy but it's clean. Food and Beverages If you're coming for a delicious and filling sandwich, you've come to the right place. The bread is crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right ratio of meat and vegetables. Bread is made fresh in house daily, and they sell bags of day old bread as well. They also sell Vietnamese coffee and baba teas. They do NOT sell sweet tea (I found this out the hard way lol). Verdict I'll be back!

Curious of all the hype and positive reviews in Atlanta magazine, we were finally in the area and…read morestopped in to pick up a banh mi to eat for dinner. It was very crowded on a late Sunday afternoon. I ordered at the cashier and it was about a 15 minute wait for the sandwich. It was fascinating to watch the sole person making all of those banh mi's as well as the people waiting in line to be seated or pay at the cashier. Long story short- maybe because we waited to eat it, but the bread was soggy ( probaby should not package in plastic ) and the ingredients - tofu were minimal. Veggies were not pickled. Sandwich was small in size too. Too many better banh mi places to dine in my opinion. This place seems to be popular based upon its longevity and not its quality.

What's not to love about Henri's?…read more I originally patronized the bucket location due to its close proximity to work. The location being centrally-located in my neighborhood makes it great for a quick bite for lunch or dinner. No matter the sandwich salad or other bakery options, freshness will always be guaranteed in consistent, no matter the location you visit. The staff are always kind and courteous and willing to assist you with your choices, as there are many. :)

This place gets busy and the parking lot does not accommodate that reality at all. It's at a very busy intersection with oddly placed entrances. But patrons make it work, and the quality keeps people coming regardless of how crazy the parking gets. I learned recently that Henri's is quite an Atlanta institution, and has been around for a loooong time. But I understand why. The service is great, regardless of location. The baristas actually like to talk to you even during the morning hustle. They are well-staffed and you can tell their employees like working there. Sharon is awesome, and the guy who mans the sandwich station is REALLY good at his job. The inside is kept clean, and it's a really calming environment for a coffee shop. Whoever designed their cafes did a great job, as the theme is consistent in their sister locations. I really have no complaints about the food. The meat is fresh. The bread is fresh. They make many of their bakery items at an HQ and locally distribute them to their sister locations. The pastry section is well-appointed and the display makes them very tempting. The Reuben with pastrami is *CHEF'S KISS*. Just make sure you get it on a more durable bread, because the sauce can get a little messy and make the sandwich soggy. I'm sad to report that they do not serve matcha here yet. But the chai latte and standard latte was delicious with a nice, thick layer of foam on top. They even have sugar-free syrup options for people looking to curb the sugar. They do have high-chairs for the babies. Love this place. They just do it right.
