This place was ok. The service was crap. The dude seemed like he was annoyed I was there and he obviously hated his job but whatever. I'm a pizza snob, honestly, but the pie was pretty decent. The crust was the best part. Real good. The sauce tasted pretty fresh tomatoey. Everything else was so-so. This place flat out sucks... I've had bad service here for a while but could deal with it although once I heard the other reviews on this place I was definitely changing my mind. Also I have a friend who had to wait an hour for an appetizer and the young waitress asked them if they wanted the check even though they clearly ordered a pizza. They said that she must have forgotten the pizza so the waitress started crying and a few drunk dudes at the bar started yelling at my friend and his family. Very disappointing visit to Pazzo's in Eagle tonight. Usually we can count on excellent service from Emily behind the bar and consistently good food. Not tonight. It seems everyone is new and nobody knows what they are doing. We ordered a salad and two calzones. The salad was never delivered despite being asked about twice. The calzones were half their normal size and mine was not remotely what I ordered. When I showed that I got a cheese only calzone, all was blamed on the new pizza cook with no apologies and no real attempt to make things right. We are locals and long time customers. Service was terrible. Not one waiter came to our table, for the first 15 minutes. Then once we received our food, we did not see another person come to our table for 30min - SERIOUSLY! In the meantime the table next to us had great service with all restaurant staff helping them constantly. Probably will not spend my money here again. read more

I've been eating at the different Pazzo's for as long as I can remember. The one consistency is that the food is not consistent across the stores. It's always been hit or miss. A couple of weeks ago I had the worst calzone I've ever had at the Eagle location. It had about a cup and a half of ricotta cheese in it. First of all, usually the ricotta is tolerable even though I prefer calzones without ricotta, but this was not good at all. A word of advice, cut back on the ricotta and use the correct cheeses. Overall, the food was decent. The calzone and custom pizza were delicious! Their marinara suce is unique and yummy. On the other hand, the ceasar salad dressing was like water, and the grlic bread may have been the frozen grocery store kind. Chose this place during a drive from Utah to Denver because it was close to I-70. The convenience alone is worth a star or 2 for me. The service was pleasant and our order came out quickly. They have great lunch specials, 2 thin slices of cheese and a soda for $4.95 or 2 thin slices with 1 topping and a soda for $5.95. The pizza was hot and crispy and really hit the spot for a quick break from driving. Not the best pizza I have ever had, but not bad at all. Would stop in again if I was in the area and wanted a quick bite for a good price. They had some good sounding appetizers and a thick crust option as well. read more

The service was poor--my husband and I were in for lunch and one of just 3-4 tables in the entire place and still, the server spent most of her time chatting with someone at the bar. Good food and bar. I really enjoy the pizza the most. They also have a tasty greek salad. They even have an area for little kids to play in. There are a few video games for older children. I don't normally write reviews on yelp about the restaurants I go to, but I had to write one for Pazzo's. I only had takeout of two slices which cost $7 and some change, and the size of the slices did not correspond with that price. Also, these slices were easily the sloppiest pieces of pizza I have ever had that I could only manage to eat one. I'm writing this review to make sure no one makes the same mistake as I, and can avoid paying for some harsh food poisoning to ruin their night. read more

Ordered two large pizzas for pick up to have in our hotel room. The pepperoni pizza was excellent. The deluxe pizza, however, had a burnt crust. Not just a little brown, but it was black and not crispy at all...how can it be burnt and still soft and doughy? The toppings were ok, and we scraped them off to eat. This used to be a regular pizza place for us. I went to pick up a couple of pizza's this past weekend and paid for them as I walked in the door even though they were not ready yet. As I was waiting for my pizza's to finish the cooks behind the counter were dropping the metal rings that the pizza's are cooked on and just picking them up off the floor and putting them back in the stack to use again instead of washing them. One of the cooks attempted to pick up one of the hot rings off the floor with the pizza spatula and then went back to turning pizza's in the oven. I was able to talk to the owner on what I saw and he said he would refund my money. After looking at my bank statement, I noticed he did not refund my money which goes to show he doesn't care. We will never go back to Pazzo's Pizza again and I would recommend not going to this place. read more

Don't support this place. They don't give a damm about customers. In the 10 minutes I was there I watched 2 other customers walk out pissed. We ordered a pizza to be pick up. Arrived to a dirty restaurant. Waited behind a customer picking up pizza. He was angry at the staff and the staff was being very rude to him. He left angry we waited another 5 minutes before someone asked to help us. Told them our name and they said they did not have the order. Mistakes happen but the staff was downright rude about it. As I walked out they actually yelled that I should go to the pizza place next door. All because they blew the order. I have never seen staff treat customers so poorly. I even had one of my kids with me and they behaved this way. The employees were smoking in the doorway and the restaurant was dirty. I will never go back to this crappy place again for very average pizza. I have eaten here a few times and never been impressed but this sealed the deal. Life is too short to support crappy businesses. As the employee said. go to the pizza place next door. read more

We ordered chicken wings, cesar, and ravioli. The chicken was hard, cesar had no taste, ravioli meat sauce didn't have enough tomato sauce to smother the ravioli. The food was HORRIBLE. I will NEVER return! I am a local who enjoys the Pazzo's in Avon and Vail, but the Eagle location is a never ever again! It took over 15 minutes for someone to come to our table. As I was starving I went to the bar/service area, the only person I talked to was a cook who was nice enough to get something going for me. The bartender/server came over with a salad, which I didn't order, me thinking 'how nice she saw I am starving'. Calzone had ingredients clumped together (giving 1 large bite of sausage, another area for cheeze, etz) and BURNT. Bill was taking so long to come I left for my husband to handle. Had probably the worst Pizza tonight at the Pazzo's in Eagle. The pizza was burned beyond recognition - and they brought it too the table none-the-less. The service was very slow - the poor waitress was the only one in a fairly busy place. After tonight they won't have to worry - we couldn't have been the only customers with such poor service and horrible food. On top of it the owner was at the place making pizzas. Instead of coming over and saying sorry 'bout the awful pizza - I'll pay your bill and here's a coupon so I can show you we can do better - he sent the poor, in-the-weed server to tell us they took the pizza off our bill - but, we still paid over $6 bucks for our soda's. We used to eat Pazzo's a few times a month. Never again - Pazzo's in Eagle is awful. They have really gone down hill! read more

Went in to have lunch with my daughter and a friend of mine. We frequently go to Pazzos. My daughter accidently left her "tray like" retainers on the table. It was not 2 hours later when we called to see if we could come pick them up. The first person we talked to told us that the retainers had been thrown away as per the owner as they were a sanitation issue. The second time I called to let them know that I would be going through the trash to retrieve them was told by the same person that the trash was no longer in the building, but in the dumpster outside. When I arrived I had a very nice young man (Morgan) search and speak with the waitress about the retainers. She told him she threw them in the water bucket. He took the time and went through the disgusting bucket to find both the top and bottom piece. The retainers are very expensive to replace and I was very grateful for the employee Morgan who took my concerns seriously. If it was not for that young man, we would not have continued business at this establishment. read more
