Walking distance from many Avon resorts. We had regular and Sicilian pizza and we were very satisfied! It's summer and the weather was great for outside seating. Our waitress was very attentive and fast. Bonus: did I mention that our little grandchildren loved the kids "mac n cheese" and a bowl of spaghetti? You have a plus when kids eat "and like-it". read more

Food: Good selection of tasty pizza options, including nine specials. Many, many beers on tap and in bottles available. Service: We ate at the bar and John, our bartender who also took our pizza order was personable, and friendly. Ambience: Nope this is not your chain pizza joint. It's a bar with plenty of seating, a pizzeria restaurant, and a local's hangout. Verdict: recommended Bon appétit pizza eaters read more

Pazzo's Pizza has remained one if the best NY style pizzas since I first had it in 1996. I found it when a bellman in Vail said it was a must. Now with each visit over the last 30 years it still remains the best! We now typically go to the Avon location, which could benefit from a good cleaning and update, but it is still a fabulous place to dine in with the family it order to go. Always VERY pleasant and caring staff! read more

OUTSTANDING antipasto salad with DELICIOUS Italian dressing! The Supreme pizza was soooo FRESH!! I haven't experienced SUCH a terrific pizza sauce in a VERY LONG TIME! It's REAL Italian flavorings served by an excellent crew. FANTASTIC JOB, Mark and 'Team Pazzo's'!!! We'll be back, MUAH huh hah haaaa! read more

My boyfriend and I stopped for lunch here, was good until we overheard a racist comment this Levi guy said to our waiter. Levi said "hey mexican" as his attempt to getting the waiters attention. I thought maybe they're cool like that but no. Our waiter said he's never called him that before and he ended up telling him that it was disrespectful and he didn't appreciate the comment. I'm glad he stood up for himself because that was a distasteful comment. The food was solid 7.5/10 but we felt uncomfortable in this place after hearing the comment Levi made so that's unfortunate, i would not eat here again if that's how management treats their employees. read more

Service was great. Friendly and fast. Food was good. Would recommend the pizza. The ambiance was not on par with the area. Doors wide open, flies everywhere. It was 90 degrees out today and it felt even hotter inside the restaurant. We made the best of it and did not leave hungry. But I am not sure I would return to dine inside again due to the ambiance. Would definitely order pizzas to go. The food was very good! read more

Locals favorite and my go to pizza is the Cabo, sweet and spicy! Also, dined there last night and while sitting outside, a rainstorm came out of nowhere and Daniel took immediate care of us! There wasn't much seating inside, but he found us a comfortable spot. Then Josh was very attentive, always checking on us! Thank you, Daniel and Josh! read more

Very laid back atmosphere. Great customer service. The pizza was amazing, you can watch them making the crust right in the front. It's almost like New York Pizza. The crust was good flavor and cooked well with just a bit of crisp. Will definitely be back! read more

We ordered a chicken parm meal and they brought a sub by mistake. They brought a chicken parm meal an hour and a half after we sat down after the rest of the party was done eating. They brought the wrong salad and then when we tried to speak to the manager he said he was not comping the meal and stormed out and slammed the door without even trying to listen to the situation. We also had a broken glass for 1 of our drinks and the server couldn't remember any of our orders and had to re-ask multiple times. There were honestly so many mistakes I can barely remember. I rarely write reviews but this has to be the worst dining experience I've ever had. The only saving grace could be the pizzas we ordered were pretty good. If you aren't getting pizza and beer I'd recommend stay away. read more

Very fast service. The pizza was amazing, thin crust but thick with cheese and toppings. We had two people and got a medium. Definitely stuffed after that. We got the supreme and Azteca. Highly recommend the azteca. Price was great for the food read more

Excellent service, excellent food, a great place to go for everything. My husband and I arrived in town. We went there and had a couple of drinks before we checked into our hotel and we're very friendly and accommodating. Later we got a pizza and a large salad to go to our hotel room so much food so delicious. I would highly recommend them. read more

The sauce was bland- and the pasta tasted like it was cooked in dish water soap. The entire family didn't enjoy it at all. The pizza was good. And our server was good until he over charged us for the meatball. read more

It's a pizza place. Nothing really stood out about this place. The food was mediocre and the price was a bit on the high side. Unfortunately I don't have much to say so you can probably guess whether we'll be back or would recommend this restaurant. read more

The cheesy garlic bread was really good. We created our own pizza and it was good. The waiter was friendly and timely service.

Ambiance is like a bar, busy, crowded, loud - but perfect if you use my standard of the Italian rest stop on the E70 just outside of Torino where when the automatic doors opened I was greeted with a wall of sound. Singing in fact. By the carabinieri with their uzis at their sides, espressos in hand, singing with the stop owner. So yeah, this place is loud, but it's a happy loud. Friendly folks just trying to make sure everyone's happy and getting pizzas and orders this way and that and out the door and onto tables. We didn't want to wait a half hour for a table, and another 50min that night for a pizza, so we ordered takeout - 35min and done. High altitude baking is no joke - either you get it or you don't, and these guys got it. Crust was excellent, a little puffy and not too bready; sauce was balanced, not too salty or sweet or weird or whatever. We also got Caesar salad which was well dressed and still crisp and fresh, and their baked rigatoni didn't make it through the night as my kids devoured it (OK I helped some too). Putting a pin in this one. read more

Wasn't a fan. I went to Pazzo's with my boyfriend the other night and wasn't impressed. The service was very meh. It took around 15 minutes to finally get our drinks and we noticed that people who had arrived after us were served before we were. When we finally ordered and received our food I just didn't think it was that good. I ordered the veggie calzone and it was honestly one of the worst calzones I've ever eaten. It was horrible but was lacking in flavor. I will say our cheese bread was alright. My boyfriend ordered ravioli and although he thought it was alright I thought it was also lacking flavor. It was pretty busy when we went and we were seated near the entryway which was an issue when new people would come in because they'd stand in front of our table since there was no room in the entryway. Overall I probably wouldn't come back and definitely wouldn't suggest it to a friend. read more

This has always been a staple growing up and has always been good. It's still good as it was and and nothing really has changed. Pizza is good and basic as it should be. This is our go-to pizza place in Avon. The pizzas are always top rate and watching them spin the dough is a highlight of our meal and probably why the crust is so damned good. But on our most recent visit (August 2025) our experience was marred by two things: there was only one server for the restaurant. Half of the patrons were sitting on the patio and the others were inside. Plus she was also having to bus the tables! So it took her about 15 minutes to get over to our party of 5 sitting inside. Secondly, we were seated at the large table just inside the door to the patio and at the end of the bar. There was a man sitting at the end of the bar who carried on a very loud and unending conversation with the cook. And they continued serving him one beer after another so he kept getting louder and louder. We would have asked for another table but the patio was closing and the other half of the restaurant was already closed. Despite these circumstances we will return the next time we're in Avon next summer. And hope for better results. read more

We asked the valet at the Westin where we could find good pizza and they said go to Pazzo's. We were not disappointed! I ordered the cream of carrot soup. By far the best soup I've ever had. The waiter said every day was a different homemade soup. It was perfect for a cold day. My son ordered pizza and it was very good. The place seemed like a lot of locals ate there. I hope we can go back before we leave. I'm anxious to see what the soup of the day is. read more

One of the servers ripped my 85 year old mom a new one for not following rules and waiting to be seated when she sat don't waiting for a slice. She was in tears when she left and tripped on a sidewalk, broke her leg and wound up in Vail hospital. When I went back to complain and find out the details from any witnesses, the manager didn't want deal with it, didn't care, threw me out and called the cops on me. PLEASE GO TO DOMINOES. THESE PEOPLE DONT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS! I would put 0 stars if I could. read more

Super busy time of year around New Year. Every year we come, it's always on point. Yes, there is a wait for pizza, but it's worth it. Small, local feeling dining area and bar. Hand tossed dough right in front of you while you hang out at the bar. Some of these other low reviews are just wild. Karen's will always Karen. Don't believe them. 1/2 Supreme, 1/2 Dakine. Every time we stop into Pazzo's I'm reminded how much they hate business. It feels like we are always inconveniencing them by showing up to have dinner. The food is good. But the service is poor. read more

Best Pizza in Avon thus far. I tried other local shops and Pazzo's is a 5/5. The service is great.

Frustrated with the Eagle location. I ordered the anti pesto salad, which I have ordered at a previous time and received a green salad with salami meats and cheese. Today I received a pasta salad like the reviewer below also mentioned. On two previous dates I have ordered a Stromboli and both times they have not included it in my order. That meant no dinner for me. I will not be visiting this establishment anytime soon. read more

Best dive bar in town....and the pizza is pretty good too. Justin, the 2 Johns and Ariel are the best.

I go to Pazos at least once a week the pizzas are always good in the services is always quick

The pizza was amazing, and our server was absolutely fantastic--attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, the experience was completely soured by the pigtailed bartender. We were enjoying our drinks, with full glasses of beer and wine still in front of us, when she rudely pointed at our table asking when we were leaving. Just an unnecessary power trip that killed the vibe. It's a shame because everything else was great, but we won't be back if that's how paying customers are treated. We were at the table for under an hour and my brother didn't get his rigatoni until everyone was finished with their pizza. read more

Pazzo's has a bar vibe with a long counter, low lighting, and classic rock n roll playing and didn't seem like a place promising great food. The surprises began with the menu which offered a wide variety of options beyond pizza. That includes meat balls, stromboli, calzones, manicotti and parmigiana. The specialty plates include choice of soup or salad and garlic bread. I opted for minestrone which was flavorful and comforting. My wife's salad could have been shared, but she chose not to. We both had lasagna which was bursting with hot, gooey goodness that stayed hot to the last bite! Impressed enough to return in the evening to try their signature pizza and was wowed again. May find a way to squeeze in another visit before we leave! read more

The number for this location is the Vail location. We called in for an order , went to the Avon location, and the guy at the Avon location was hostile and told us to never come back. Said we weren't locals. Guess there are two large pizzas at the Vail location, but we won't be back. F*ck that. Very mean. Lived in the valley since I was in 4th grade. read more

Scammers- Totally disappointing. Ordered a pizza, they said they only had half of my order but they could give me a different size. I said sure. When I paid the bill i realized they charged for both. Went here, ordered a pizza, which is pretty good, we got our food to go. I ordered an anti-pasto salad. They gave us a pasta salad. We called them and said you gave us the wrong salad, they said to come and get another one. So my dude walks back over picks it up. It says antipasto salad on the lid and it's another pasta salad. They did refund us for that portion. And were very apologetic after the second snafu. read more
