We ordered 2 full dinners for 16 people from Lauren's Kitchen. They were a huge success! The standout favorites were the balsamic brussels sprouts- artichoke puffs - enchiladas - ALL dips(hummus /salsa/cheddar corn), and the steamed broccoli and cheese. Every parent said "my kid won't eat broccoli" - every kid devoured them (as did some adults!) We had a house that slept +20 people, yet we only had 1 older stove. It is brilliant that all her food was prepped to reheat at 425 degrees. That really saved us! Lauren's Kitchen made our trip way less stressful and far more delicious! read more

As good as it gets for healthy, local and vegan options. I found Lauren on yelp and called her up. She was so helpful on the phone explaining the options and set me up with everything vegan on the menu. The corn dip is so good I wish I had bought 10 containers. The quinoa soup is worth getting the 32oz portion. Buddha bowl is the star and the sides (curry cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and the snow peas/carrots) are great additions to the bowl. I've used Lauren's catering several times, and have never been disappointed. She's done our Yom Kippur break the fast, and did an outstanding job both times. She brought her assistant Pamela, and they were cheerful and efficient, setting up, serving and making everything look beautiful and delicious. She even made her own smoked whitefish and sable fish! Her salads and side dishes were outstanding, and everything was well-timed. They even helped dole out/pack up some leftovers for our guests to take home, and cleaned up so well we hardly knew we had 18 guests. Lauren was a joy to work with, and her suggestions/selections were spot on. I also had her help with my spouse's birthday, and she was awesome. She's definitely my go-to caterer! read more

I usually make everything for thanksgiving from scratch. This year I decided to give up the sides and contracted Lauren to provide these. I ordered: gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole. the gravy was great. the green been casserole had cheese on it (?) the mashed potatoes were terrible - didn't use the right potatoes, so they we're mealy. the stuffing was the worst - cubes of white bread topped with carrots and celery. We stumbled upon this place b/c the cafe at Bookworm was too busy. We're super glad we did! The business is a bit unconventional--it's focused on prepared to-go meals--but the food was delicious and better than anything I could have prepared at home. We picked out our items, paid at the counter, sat down, and Lauren herself served up the hot, plated dishes to us with a lovely smile. I will definitely return (as would my son who gobbled up the lasagne, garlic mashed potatoes and chocolate mousse), and I am putting it out to the Universe that Lauren's Kitchen thrives long into the future. I was at my hair appointment and was so hungry and asked the girls where to grab lunch... A very kind lady yelled out "go to Lauren's Kitchen! She makes the best homemade salads! You'll love it!" So that's exactly what I did! Lauren greeted me soon as I walked in and explained that she makes all the salads and dressings herself. I chose the Greek salad and up at the counter she had homemade pies and I chose cherry. Lauren tossed the salad for me and warmed up the pie and brought it all out. Everything was delicious! I ate every bite! I have had a lot of salads in my life but this one was the best I've had! I highly recommend this place if you want something really good! Since everything is pre-made you can grab your salad pay for it and leave. Which is perfect if you are busy and don't have time to spare! read more

First of all Lauren is great. She worked super hard and is all smiles! We had Lauren cater a birthday dinner at our home and she did a phenomenal job. We asked for a four course VEGAN meal and... she nailed it. I wish I had photos because the food was not only delicious but looked beautiful! It was so good that we visited her to-go spot in town the next day and loved that food just as much. It's hard to find spots at cater to meat eaters and vegans alike in this part of Colorado. We wandered into Riverwalk in Edwards driving back from Snowmass. We were hungry for lunch and intrigued by the menu. The food is prepared and in the cooler. We chose pesto chicken and a salad. The waitress was delightful and heated up the chicken which was surprisingly delicious. We had French pressed coffee and altogether a delightful quick lunch. We hired Lauren's Kitchen as the caterer for our June, 2021 wedding in Avon, Colorado. Due to the pandemic, we went through a couple iterations of our wedding plan - we originally hired her team to provide private chef services for a smaller wedding guestlist at a private home, but eventually changed and hosted our wedding at the EagleVail Pavilion in Avon with a guest list of 40. Lauren was responsive, easy to work with, and had great menu options. She accommodated several dietary restrictions for us. And the food was phenomenal!!! We received compliments from all our wedding guests on the food (as the bride and groom we didn't get to enjoy as much of the cocktail hour and appetizers). Everything was delicious, hot, and clearly prepared with care. Lauren's team also worked with our day-of coordinator to assist with the weather contingency plan - of course, being in Colorado, it rained up until about an hour before the wedding. They all worked together to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. The next day when we returned to the venue to pick up the last of our items, all the rentals and our items were stacked neatly, ready for pickup. Lauren and her team were absolutely the best! Laurens Kitchen catered a small 30 person wedding in Edwards Colorado for me. Working with Lauren was a true pleasure. Even during the times of covid Lauren was very responsive to all my questions and worked with us on creating a menu that we wanted. The week before the wedding Lauren worked diligently with us to ensure that we had everything we needed and if there was anything she could assist with. The wedding night the food and staff were amazing. The food was nothing less than perfection and beat every expectation of mine. The staff were extremely sweet and helpful throughout the night. The food was wonderful, the women serving the food were friendly and lovely--a terrific addition to the party--and everything was presented and cleaned up to perfection.
