Ordered new service because I was tired of the Comcast increases and spotty service in downtown San Jose. They made some router suggestions (got one for $60), looked at my usage and speed from before, and recommended 250 Mbps. They could have suggested 500 or 1G to get more money from me each month, but they said I wouldn't need it. If I do in the future, I can simply call to upgrade. The price is $42 less a month than Comcast (so $39.99 plus tax vs $80 plus tax). Angel and Yurny arrived early, respectful of my home and wore booties, explained what they were doing, and took about an hour to complete the installation. They tested repeatedly and then stayed to help me set up the router and connect my devices. This took a little longer than expected and at first the app was grumpy. I can honestly say - this would have been stressful doing this alone because it took a good 4 attempts to get it situated. Once that was done, screaming fast internet was working! All of the account info is accessible on an app which provides a lot of information for me as a customer. I was quickly able to connect my computer, iPad and others. Angel and Yurny provided great advice on waiting to disconnect my other internet until I had moved off of the cable as well (I wouldn't have thought to do it this way) - appreciated their expertise. I have now completed three speed checks - the pic shows what they offered and what I am getting. Spot on! Hats off to Angel and Yurny - they were truly amazing. Paxio has been our ISP for close to two decades. It's been easy to take their lightning fast connection for granted and forget how much we rely on our internet in this day and age. We had a hiccup in service this week. After briefly troubleshooting over the phone, Paxio had a tech on-site to evaluate and resolve the issue before the end of the day. The tech, Javier, was awesome. He quickly identified the issue, explained the resolution (which was honestly over my head), tested and re-tested to make sure the fix worked and encouraged me to call back for a follow-up visit if necessary. We haven't had many problems with our service over the years because Paxio has been great at maintaining and upgrading their equipment; but, when we have seen issues arise, Paxio has been a great partner to work with. read more

We totally love the fast internet from Paxio! Of course, we are coming from slower internet at AT&T, but regardless, fast and reasonably priced Paxio is the best!! Of course there are some moments of slower speeds and glitches, but it's running well almost all the time for us. Installation was a little confusing with schedule mix ups, but that ok, we're flexible. For whatever reason, our install took a long time, two trips, and included a total rewire from the street! But that makes Paxio and Binh special. They worked hard to get it working for us and took the extra time to install our router and get us set up to go! Will someone who knows someone please wake someone up over at Paxio? I been calling since yesterday for a client's service that has been out since Friday night and no one answers the phone there. The 24/7 service phone line.. no one answers, nor returns messages, their main lien I get an "All circuits Busy". WTF? This is supposed to be a proactive monitoring service too? In January same client had an outage, it took them over a WEEK nd a half to get the service back up because they could nto detect that one of their service lines was chewed up by vermin. I had told them that from day 1. I had to call them incessantly for days to get them to respond. They act like they just woke up and then smoke bowls all day. Very lackadaisical. Even Comcast answers the phone. Come on Phillip Clark, get your act together, you sing a great song, but this is awful. How can I support clients when youre ISP is 100% unresponsive? Whats going on? SO far, i cannot recommend this service. And if your office manager chimes in and says she has no record of me calling in, well if their phone would ring, she would. I'd be glad to screen shot my phone records calling in all weekend. I dont want an office manager, I want the NOC service team to call back or at least fix their service. Its critical now. read more

I like the solid internet service and speeds, I really do. But trying to do the most basic of functions-like finding my stored payment method and paying my bill are impossible. I'm going to cancel my service specifically because if they don't make their customer interface on their website more user friendly I'm going to have a stroke. I lose my damn mind every. single. time I try to access my bill or add a card. Hell if I know how to even just enter the numbers on my card. I click on what looks like an input box and it won't let me enter my card details. Don't these folks want to get paid? I'd keep the service but my sanity is more important to me. Nah. I'm canceling. I spend hours trying to navigate the site, hours. Hours I don't have. It's like you have to be a coder in order to just figure out the stupid website. After four years of PAXIO, I'm more pleased as time goes on. The speed has always been blazing fast, as advertised, but what has really topped my expectations is the responsiveness and know-how of their customer support, technical support, and installers. Getting through to them can be a problem during off hours, but once you have them, they're quick to help with billing changes, information about outages, and technical issues. Probably the best thing they've done for me is help set up my Internet connection so that it's available everywhere in my home. Competing for best thing is finding me the optimal plan and pricing for my shifting needs. There have been few outages over three years, annoying but mercifully short. I've never had an ISP provider this dependable or this pleasant to deal with. read more

We decided to switch to Paxio after getting a flyer in the mail -- came with perfect timing since AT&T has been giving us the runaround lately. So far they've been just as fast as AT&T, and the service is waaaay better. Angel & Yurny were super friendly and helpful; they answered all of our thousand questions and helped us make sure that all the wall jacks were working so we can hardwire in ethernet lines to every room. I ran out of internet service over the easter weekend which was very annoying. Paxio technical support helped us through and sent their best crew Angel and Yurny first thing Monday morning to resolve the issue. Service was not as reliable as Comcast or AT&T while I had it, but it was OK in general - except for one 15 hour outage. Since my wife was working form home and both kids are on Zoom classes I had to run out and get a T-Mobile hot-spot to get internet that day. I live in an area where the physical network is owned by one company (Atherton Fiber) and the ISP service is delivered by another company - which was Paxio. After the 15 hour outage, Atherton Fiber dropped Paxio as an ISP provider for their physical network and switched all the customers to a new ISP. After Paxio was dropped as my ISP they still charged me for a month of service that was not delivered. After calling them a bunch of times and getting the run-around, I finally wrote a bad Yelp review. They their Director of Client Services reached out to me and promptly refunded me for the final month (where I had not received service). I then edited this review to reflect this change. read more

We just had our first outage in 2 years of service and it was actually a pleasure to remedy! I called around 7pm last night to report... John diagnosed it as faulty hardware over the phone. He showed up at 8 this morning with new hardware, installed new, upgraded to new European install standards and replaced the switch for free. I'm back up and running for work by 9 a.m.! YOU DON'T GET THIS WITH THE BIG GUYS. Amazing speed and customer service. Fiber to the house. We pay for a lower-tier speed and consistently have amazing speed and service from this company. I was so amazed with the level of service and professionalism received from Paxio. My old service provider moved some POTS lines which included my DSL and put me out of contact for 3 day. Used up everyone spill over cellular backup data and just crushed our ability to effectively communicate. Once I learned Paxio could offer gigE service, at amazingly affordable rates, I locked in. Awesome customer service & TRUELY high speed! We had a power outage in the complex which was caused by malfunction of the fire alarm. That in turn prompted our property management to shut off the power of almost just all infrastructure which affected our internet connection powered by paxio as well. The property management locked the power closet so even paxio made several attempts to look into it, they couldn't get in. As an immediate temporary solution, they installed a power extension from the outside to allow our internet to be back on right away. Now that's a true customer service! I doubt you will ever get that from Comcast! Their customer service always gets back to you so promptly which I really love. Most importantly, the price is a lot cheaper than Comcast and I now own super speedy Internet!!! read more

Unlike the ripoff service providers with weaselly "up to" speed claims (I mean you, Comcast and AT&T), Paxio actually delvers what they offer. I consistently get speedtest results within 90% of what I pay for. The service is rock solid, and the few times I have needed Help, Paxio's service techs were fast and right in their assessment and corrective action. Been a customer for almost 2 years and lately service has been down too many times to count and takes for them too long to resolve. My partner works from home and a reliable internet connection is a must. Recently, he had to go through job interviews and it brought a lot of stress if our wifi will be up and running. We would love to support a local business but we need reliable service. Even worse, they don't have tech support on weekends. Also, a tech company to have a website with outdated user interface should have been a red flag initially but we decided to give them a chance but now with regret. Even the tech support agents on the phone agree that their website is difficult to navigate and overdue for an upgrade. On the positive side, people i've spoken to over the phone are friendly and accommodating. Fortunately, Google fiber webpass is available in our area and it's $20 cheaper with the same internet speed. Maybe Paxio will get better in the near future but for now it is lagging and makes it a very easy choice to switch. read more

Honestly the best ISP company I've ever had. I've only had one outage for 45 minutes in over a year of being with them. Whenever they are updating something or fixing something they always do it in the middle of the night so their customers aren't disturbed.
