I have been going to Paul's Auto for years. They have great quality work. They just put in my Blueitt Charger 1 DC-DC charger for my minivan travel to Florida. It worked very will. My mini refrigerator didn't drain my power station. It stayed at 100%. And the price of installation, what's very inexpensive. read more

Refused to do a simple drain and fill job because the dude on the phone "didn't know what that car is" it's a Toyota crown saloon . It's a literal Toyota ... same transmission as any 4 speed Lexus or Toyota... literally a 30 minute job refused because of arrogance . Didn't even listen on the phone or try to look anything up . Said it's from 1997 risk of rust is too high . The car is straight out of an import lot from Japan . There's not a spec of rust on the car . It hasn't been driven in 22 years ‍ it's literally in better condition than cars coming out of the dealership brand new . Didn't even offer to listen or check out the car even do 30 seconds of research to realize it runs the same exact parts as almost any Toyota in America . Just because it's "imported" they wont change the fluid ? I'm not asking for engine work lmfaooo it's a fluid change . If I had the tools at home I'd to it myself . It's just more convenient to pay someone who has a lift to get it done . Wouldn't recommend them working on your car if they don't work on anything "they don't know" . I have been going here since i moved to Clinton Township. These guys do all the service on my vehicles and I wouldn't consider going elsewhere. 10/10 service and they always go the extra mile. Just got my car back from them today for an oil change and without asking they patched a leaky tire also, continuing to show me why Paul's is a step above the rest. I also have a crazy work schedule, and they never hesitate to work with me on pick-up/drop-off. I'll give this place a 1 star because the first experience was good but when I came back the second time it was horrible. I'm not sure what his name is but the guy who works at the front desk needs to learn how to keep his attitude in check when it comes to customers. All because he was ready to leave at 6pm he wanted to be rude over the phone with me over a miscommunication of the pick up time. And then failed to ever inform me about a charge of "looking at my vehicle" in his words. Considering my vehicle has an extended warranty which covers diagnosing( I have used my Warranty 5 times and never had to pay for anyone to "look or diagnose an issue). But in his works "it's only measly $65. That's nothing".Well not everyone throws $65 on just anything. Maybe he needs to learn how warranty works or know how to disclose all charges up front. The customer service I was provided today was 100% horrible. To the point when I came in I Immediately asked him if that's how he treats his customers, like how he talked to me over the phone. But in person he acted like everything that happened over the phone never existed. Which I expected. I will never go back here again. He got his measly $65 that he claims paid his tech to put 2 spark plugs back in in an hour when my husband can do that in 10 min. But ok. Like he said I will go to bed good tonight because I'll make sure my experience is told. read more

The guy's here did it again! Unfortunately my car has been in this shop twice in the last two weeks. Both times the service was efficient and yesterday I asked Tom about a part that has been off my car for three years(only to had been told I needed to take it to somewhere like Mikey Shores) He just snapped the part right back on!!! And the dealer wanted to charge me 150 just to look at my car and that money doesn't go towards the repair!!! These guys are the best!!! That's about all I paid for repairs!!! read more

Was very pleased how friendly and straightforward Kyle was in letting me know the issue with my van, and what repairs it required with no extras. Turnaround was the same day and as I was getting ready to leave we noticed a noise and they were able to take care of it while I waited. I am a wheelchair user so my van is my main mode of transportation, and they assured me they would have it done so I wouldn't be inconvenienced. If you want quality work done on your vehicle, DO NOT take it here. Mechanics are not knowledgeable about today's vehicle. Took my 2009 Taurus X there, claim he replace a sensor, only to find out from my mechanic he NEVER did. Took $ 150.00 for his supposed service to my vehicle. Still had to pay my mechanic for the part Paul's Auto Service was supposed have replaced! NEVER AGAIN!! read more
