I was skeptical when I first arrived there, there was very little room for parking in the front but plenty in the back. When getting the ball bearings replaced he gave me two options, the super-expensive option and the affordable option. He was straight up about the car problem and I trusted his sincerity. Well, I had to have my vehicle towed to some auto shop when my vehicle refused to start one night. My girlfriend recommended this auto shop, and put my faith in the fact that he would take care of my car, much like my usual auto shop. He said I need a new ignition switch, since it magically wouldn't start, which was the reason I had it towed to him to begin with. Well, about two months, later, it would have starting trouble again. This time, it took it about ten seconds of very slow revving to start one morning, when it usually starts up right away, like it should. I took to my usual shop this time, and they figured out the real problem: the battery was going bad and needed to be replaced. I suspect that if Mechanical Man had looked at the battery, he would have given me the proper fix and replaced my battery. I can only give this shop two stars out of fairness. This is my only time I had work done there, and it did take care of the problem for about a couple of months. If I need my car towed if I'm close to home, I'll take it to his shop, but I'd sooner trust my own mechanics. read more

My husband and I had to have our Jeep Liberty fixed because of a brake problem. I drive 40 mile to have him service my car. Why you ask. Because he is smart, honest and fair.

Serpentine belt came off. Thought we could just put it back on. Well it wasn't working. I told my dad he's not a mechanic so let's just tow it to one. Found this place on yelp. They saw my car right away. Called me within five minutes to tell me what the issue was. Explained cost and my car was done in about a hour or so. Even showed me why the belt needed to be replaced. Car is actually running a lot better and no more squeaky wheel sound coming from the belt. I can honestly say I would go back here.
