I wanted pizza today, I checked out yelp because I wanted something local, and I found Paulie's. I ordered a 12" pepperoni and a small garden salad, which they happily delivered to my hotel. The pizza was delicious, could have used a touch more cheese and a little less salt in the sauce but otherwise, delish. The crust had a little crunch to it and it was nice and thin, just how I like it. The salad was, just that a salad.... nothing fancy but it hit the spot. If I'm ever back in the area again, I'll definitely order from here again. read more

Pizza is good and if you live in Niskayuna this is really close (and better than Rico's). However, if you order delivery from the menu on their website and are SHOCKED by how terrible your math skills are, please know it's because 1)the prices on THEIR menu on THEIR website are not accurate. And 2)there is a $1.50 delivery charge which is not listed anywhere including the actual physical menu. Aside from those annoying aspects, pizza and knots are solid options. The food is good, the delivery drivers are nice and timely, and the price is good for the quality.

Don't go there if you are concerned about COVID 19 protocols. Staff were packed into the kitchen, 5 or 6 of whom did not have face coverings over their mouths and noses. The face masks hung below their chins as they leaned over the food. Too bad I didn't get to try the food- but it was not worth the risk, so I sent if back. When I spoke with a staff person, he said, "My recommendation is that you eat at home." Really bad customer service! read more

Paulie's is fairly new but their food and especially their pizza is probably the best in the Capital Region if not outside of Manhattan. The pizza is New York style with a sauce that is seldom ever found outside of Manhattan's Little Italy. The same goes for their pastas, which are al dente and not mushy. Their wings are right up there with the best of the Capital Region. The staff are very friendly and regardless of what you want one-offs are never denied. It's not an eat-in restaurant though there are a few tables. Paulie's is highly recommended and will not disappoint. read more

On my second and last day off of the week, I decided to stay home and order in so my roommate and I could just take it easy. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, a chicken parm pizza, a calzone, some garlic knots and the Italian mix sandwich. Oh. My. God. Everything was so incredibly delicious! Best calzone I think I've ever had! And the chicken on the pizza was so crisp and incredible. On top of that, I ordered five minutes after they opened, the guy on the phone was super nice, and they delivered my order fifteen minutes earlier than they said they would! Chicken bacon ranch was absolutely wonderful! The chicken bites are breaded and the sauce is a light ranch white sauce. The plain cheese is a light crust that has the consistency to fold and eat like best of the best NY pizzarias. Red sauce is a fresh tomato taste, hint of garlic, and light on the spices. We love this pizza place!! Everything we we gotten there is so satisfying! great prices for your dollar too! The staff is friendly. And I love the fact you can order online then pick up. We had recently moved to the area and after trying a number roof pizza joints we found this one. If you like thin New York style pizza they have it. My wife ordered a pizza and wings tonight. We were told that the pizza would be 20-25 minutes to pick it up. I arrived 20 minutes after ordering. The place was very busy. I did have to wait an additional 30 minutes. At that point I was close to leaving without the food. However I did wait and I'm very glad I did. I will definitely be back. Pizza was pretty good! The sauce was awesome and there was a good amount to the pizza, not super thin like other NY Style places. The crust was great, I just wish there was more to it! The pizza doesn't hold up on its own though, definitely fork and knife or fold in half to eat. Still one of the best places we've found in this area. read more

This was our first time ordering. The staff seemed friendly. We ordered an 8 cut supreme minus the sausage with 10 medium wings. The order was 100% correct. The wings were delicious and crispy. The pizza itself was tasty and the crust is my all time favorite. Crispy, delicious brick oven crust. The cost for an 8 cut and 10 wings was on par with all others in the area. Hands down the best pizza I've had in a long while. Reminds me of my dad's pizza which was to die for. Ordered through Mealeo app and took a long time. Too long for my hungry husband. But being in the Covid-19 shutdown and people are ordering takeout like crazy, I understood. No contact delivery was great. Delivery guy called me told me he would leave the pizza and knock on the door and go to his car. When he didn't see us open the door right away, he called back. Outstanding! We live in the neighborhood and tried Paulie's for the first time! First, they got our phone-in order correct, can't say that about all the local spots. The pizza is so fresh tasting!!
