Nice people nice food, I highly suggest you go for it. I get the white wine and duck breast, really tastes.

We had a beautiful dinner here. We started with quail in an orange sauce and then had octopus and duck for our mains. The food was delicious and the ambiance and service was lovely. Would recommend for a special night out.

Came here on a last minute reservation for dinner. The food warrants 4 stars but the service was non existent (one of the waiters spoke to a table the whole night and basically ignored us). It took 30 minutes to get water and I was parched. The wine was nothing to write home about.

My daughter and I were celebrating our mother /daughter trip to Barcelona for my daughter's graduation 1 year ago. I read fabulous reviews of this restaurant . We were so lucky to get a reservation since the seating is very limited. Our meal was by far the best meal we have shared this year. The pate foie gras melted in our mouths. The entrees were remarkable. The chef took such great attention to taste and presentation. My daughter ordered the lobster risotto and I ordered the duck. All were mouth watering dishes. The ultimate dessert was a fried pistachio ice cream. Don't miss this restaurant when you are in Barcelona

The owners Elisabeth and Raphael were wonderful and seasoned the food to our specific requests. Raphael is the chef and his wife Elisabeth manages everything else. I had the Octopus and my husband the Steak. Also, ordered the scallops for an appetizer. Finished off the meal with a strudel for dessert. This was not the typical meal you would find on a main drag in Barcelona. Highly recommend!!

What a joke. Read all of this one... Reservation for 9:30, seated at 9:45. Ok, it happens. One server/bus, one very clearly stressed waitress. Full house of 20-24 people and it sounds like 100 people chattering in Carnegie Hall. Ok, it's Friday. Next to me, a party of 8, their faces redder than the wine they're drinking. All while making sure their goofy drug stories are heard. Hey, some people are like that. We were already late so we ordered 2 starters (tomato bread and olives) and 2 entrees (wagyu sausage and duck breast) at the same time for convenience sake. Personally, I felt it was a little thoughtful. About 25 minutes later, we got our bread. A few minutes after that, we got our olives. Some 45 minutes in, we got our wagyu sausage, which was pretty darn good. Then it got weird. We waited about 25 more minutes for the duck. When we did finally ask, both about the duck and gap between entrees, we were told that it was resting and we were wrong to ask any questions. Pardon? Not my first dance at a fancy jam and I do understand the snazzy way of things (if either asked for or having it said up front). You do not quote some goofy service manual as an excuse to not have proper staff, let alone staff with a good attitude. If I wasn't watching a chubby little finger stirring a glass of scotch the whole time, I'd have thought less of it all. As soon as the princes...err waitress was done making excuses for the chef (her dad or husband?), I let the duck rest even longer by asking for the check and leaving. Here's the hoot, we had to use TheFork to book the reservation; so the restaurant made sure they "canceled" our reservation (after we had left) to avoid a review on that app. See the pics attached of my almost meal as well as their text canceling afterward. He cancelled the reservation we had at 9:30 pm via a text at 11:12 pm... lol! Scumbag moves all around. Hire more staff, the guy can obviously cook.

A special mention goes to Nadia, the dessert chef--her talent truly shines through in the beautifully crafted and unforgettable desserts. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and well-rounded dining experience. Excellent food, impeccable service, and a warm atmosphere--Cera 23 is a place we would happily return to and highly recommend.

In his namesake restaurant in Barcelona, he creates an authentic Catalonia-inspired menu using only certified local ingredients that are sustainable, organic, and ethically sourced wherever possible. Sergi de Meia's commitment to not only outstanding cuisine, but also to the environment and the community is impressive. A friend and I enjoyed an outstanding dinner at Sergi de Meia. The staff was wonderful, providing impeccable and attentive service that goes above and beyond the standard of hospitality. I thought the restaurant design was beautiful, and while the space is narrow and deep, the décor is light and contemporary, which makes for a great atmosphere. We share similar tastes, so my friend and I each ate the same dishes. We started with a taste of cauliflower cream, with pea shoots and crushed nuts. The cream was smooth and the nuts added a crunchy texture. The local asparagus with sheep's cheese cream and herbs was fresh and earthy, the vegetable tender and not tough, while the cream was salty and seasoned with the right mix of herbs. We also tried eggs and potato riojana style, and the flavors really gave a sense of the famous region of Spain. During the main course, we enjoyed fresh fish from the local market, with fresh green peas, chanterelle and saffron, which added a beautiful dose of color. We also loved the dish of local sheep, pumpkin, egg and cheese, as the texture provided an outstanding mouthfeel and is the epitome of local comfort food. For dessert, the server recommended the specialty chickpea fritters with cream, which use the traditional Catalonian chickpea flour. They were sweet and dense, a perfect way to end the delicious meal.

The food was hot which was important since it was such delicate dishes. So much flavor, we tried food outside our comfort zone and loved it. Chef Sergi really nails the pairings in food selection. I do not believe you can get a better meal than here in all of Barcelona. We only wish he had a restaurant in Los Angeles, California.

We arrived in Barcelona late (on Sunday), and this place was recommended to us by our host. Being just down the street, we decided to check it out. We shared the ravioli, salmon carpaccio, bravas with spicy sauce and cod croquettes. My least favorite were the croquettes; while the exterior was crispy and nicely browned, the interior was mushy and lacked complex flavoring. Each croquette was 1.5 euros each and the size of a breakfast sausage link. The bravas sauce was delicious, we actually put that on the croquettes. The ravioli was decent. It had good flavor but the pasta was a little too al dente for me. The shining star was the carpaccio. It came out beautifully displayed in razor thin slices and topped with a slightly sweet wasabi cream served like an ice cream scoop in the middle that melted slowly while we enjoyed the dish. We also shared a nice bottle of red wine, the Lo Petito. It was an amazing 14 euros and tasted pretty good (disclaimer, I'm not a wine connoisseur). Not a bad way to start our trip.

This included beer or wine, bottled water, bread and oil to start, and four courses including dessert. An additional bottle of wine is just 8 euros, very honest and fair of the restaurant! The menu has few options, so if you are very picky or have allergies, it would be wise to contact the restaurant beforehand. The place is nice. Not fancy or overdone, just simply well designed with some interesting elements. The sort of place where it seems to direct your focus solely to your table, allowing the food to command your full attention. The plates are explained in great detail as they come out. The bread was delicious!! Freshly baked, perfect chewy bite. Our next two courses were a quail dish and an asparagus soup topped with crispy prawns. For the mains, I got the leg of lamb that came with some veggies underneath. I also tried the other option which was a lighter take on fish and chips (minus the chips!). Everything was executed beautifully. Wonderful and interesting flavor combinations, perfect temperature, also perfect portions. I'm not entirely sure what the desserts were, but one was a chocolate dish with some passion fruit sorbet and the other was a cold fruit sorbet type thing...... oh I'm not describing it well. Both dishes were also incredibly creative and made with modern gastro techniques. I think coffees were also included in the price. Everyone in my party greatly enjoyed the lunch. We had two "foodies" and the other two more simple eaters who typically scoff at "pretentious food". However, they also really loved it since flavors were so on point. Food quality is also very high. For 20 euros, it is on the higher end of lunches, but I think it was completely worth the price. Highly recommend!!

They offered a little less dipping sauce but still enough for the potatoes. The wedges were actually much easier to dip than the cubes. The cheese platter was also pretty solid, with a good mixture of creamy cheeses and sharp cheeses. The timbal was easily the best dish. We ordered it because of the pesto and goat cheese in it and although we didn't really taste any pesto, the goat cheese was incredible. Extremely rich and creamy and went great with the vegetables. We started with three tapas: Pierogi Therapy (Pierogi ruskie) that were just a tad overcooked; Arenque del Báltico (Śledzik), a cold dish featuring many wonderful seafood flavors; and Say Cheese (Oscypek), lightly grilled goat cheese with red berry jam - kind of a dessert tapa, perfect before the main event. Deelish! Although there is a nice variety in their menu, the four of us selected the same two main courses: El Buen Rollo (Gołąbek), a large cabbage roll stuffed with nicely seasoned ground beef and rice, covered with a somewhat sweet tomato sauce. Each order came with two rolls. Each one was more than enough for one meal! Kopernik Was Right (Kiełbasa) was spicy and came in a bed of sauerkraut, on top of mashed potatoes. Pure comfort food! We finished off with a slab of their Polish-style cheesecake - and yes, one slab was enough for the four of us. Even the coffee was perfect! (You can always tell when a restaurant doesn't keep their coffee makers clean - this place clearly does.) Finally, a "chupito" of Polish vodka, nice and dry. Be aware: Do NOT waste your money at this restaurant if you are Asians!!!…read more We dined at Disfrutar with high expectations given its 3 Michelin stars, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We were the second party to check in yesterday. However, when several hosts came out, they escorted multiple European groups who arrived after us into the restaurant first, while leaving our party waiting. As an Asian family visiting from the United States, this made us feel uncomfortable and raised concerns about whether we were being treated differently. The situation became even more concerning during the meal. My daughter was holding a glass of orange juice when the glass suddenly broke in her hand and cut her left thumb. A staff member came to clean the table and clearly saw her bleeding finger, yet there was no apology, no concern, and not even a simple "Are you okay?" This lack of basic care and empathy was shocking. At a Michelin 3-star level, service should be attentive, respectful, and consistent for every guest. Unfortunately, our experience made us feel overlooked and unwelcome. At this level, service is not optional--it is a fundamental part of the experience. Being made to feel overlooked and unwelcome, combined with the lack of care in a situation involving a child's injury, made this an experience we cannot recommend. To be fair, the cuisine itself was exceptional--creativity, presentation, wine quality, and overall execution were all at a very high level (close to 10/10). The taste was strong (around 8/10). However, the customer service was extremely poor (1/10), and unfortunately, that overshadowed the entire experience. We hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and reflects on how all guests are treated. There are many choices when it comes to fine dining, and service matters just as much as the food.
