We get our car serviced at Lynnwood Honda, right across the street. Last Saturday, my wife and I decided to have breakfast here while waiting. I went with ham, eggs over medium, their fried potatoes, english muffin, coffee. My wife tried an omelette. I will start with the good. They toasted my english muffin and my wife's toast pretty well. Now the bad... My wife found her omelette was more of a scramble. Not a dealbreaker, but annoying. Her dealbreaker was the amount of cheese and veg in her omelette. It was mostly egg. The coffee was the worst I've had at a diner in memory. I couldn't finish a single cup. My eggs were over easy. So the whites were runny. The ham tasted off. My wife took a bit and agreed. She actually spit hers out onto her plate. The potatoes were cut too large, and were undercooked. I like my potatoes a but crunchy... but not that kind if crunchy! They were also barely seasoned. Any one of these things I would have shrugged off. But all together it added up to $30 for a breakfast neither of us could finish. Also, I could see the kitchen from our seat. One cook wasn't masked, and the other was doing the thing where they keep the mask below their nose. The Food tasted bad recently and when I questioned the receptionist cut me off. In the order after this I tried the Grubhub Service delivery and did not receive the order. When I called once again I was sharply interupted as she stated "that is not with us but your delivery driver." Have there been deliveries and pickup orders with no problems? The only issue I have with this location is that all the tables are so close to each other I feel like the other patrons are part of my breakfast. Edmonds location: After showing up at my scheduled time my take out order wasn't ready and I was asked to stand outside in the cold and wait. I did for several minutes, then came back in to check to see if the order was ready, it still was not, so I sat down at a one person table near the front more than 6 feet away from anybody and out of the way. They tell me I need to move because people are waiting for this table, which they are not, it's only for one person and there it's only one group of two people at the front door waiting to be seated so they wouldn't sit at this table. I am told to go wait outside in the cold again. I go outside to wait for several more minutes, come back well after the time the order was supposed to be ready, to find out that for some reason on their tablet it shows my order has been canceled. I did not cancel it. Way to go with customer service guys, you've definitely lost a customer. read more

How do I put this, it's not as great as Beth's Cafe, but also not as terrible as Denny's. Safe to say it's right in the middle of it all. This location just opened right by WinCo in Edmonds and i pass by it everyday so why not give it a shot? It's the typical breakfast/brunch aura. The servers are prompt so no issues there. I ordered the Bigfoot, which was a larger piece of chicken fried steak served with 3 eggs and a side of hash browns. The steak and the country gravy desperately needed salt. It was bland, but it was cooked perfect. The hash browns were well seasoned. I wonder if it was cooked by two different people. I would come back but I wonder if the other dishes will lack salt as well? read more

I was in this morning for take out and the staff couldn't be bothered to do anything. One person was standing off to the side on her phone and kept looking at me so I know she saw me. When she finally acknowledged I was there about 10 minuets later they took my order. They brought out the food and I went home. The menu shows the biscuits and gravy comes with eggs, hash browns and sausage or bacon. I got two biscuits and the side I ordered but no has browns, eggs or gravy. The first visit they did well but now that there's an issue they don't answer their phone and their voicemail doesn't even state it's this business but a default greeting with a phone number. I was excited for this location but after today it's likely they've lost a customer for life. I love the other locations and have frequently visited but I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. UPDATE: I went in and was offered the missing items but told her I had no need as I had cooked my own eggs and gravy. She claimed the POS system is "so new nobody has figured out how to give a refund." She gave me a frequent diner punch card and filled the punch so I am eligible for $6 off my next order. So I paid a net of $6.50 plus tax and tip for two biscuits and have a filled punch card that will do me no good since you couldn't pay me to return after the way they handled this mistake. Recommendation: Save you're money. If you decide you've gotta have their food, avoid the Edmonds location and definitely don't order takeout! read more

Cooks don't care about presentation of the food or quality. ordered a Reuben sandwich for take out, there was no thousand island dressing, no sauerkraut and the cornbeef was just a bunch of fat with bacon pieces in it. Very displeased with service and food. We recently ate at Mountlake Terrace and it was exceptional. You wouldn't know that this was the same franchise. We were greeted, and asked our beverage requests - I asked for water and got coffee. Ok - I requested creamer and water which she brought - but no silverware to stir coffee. Had to ask twice for a spoon. She brought us a menu which was breakfast only, so we assumed the was a breakfast only location. I ordered the mini breakfast with extra crispy bacon and hashbrowns, hsbd ordered breakfast burrito and was not give a choice of sides to go with it. My order had neither potatoes or bacon that was crispy, asked to redo the bacon. She took the entire plate and brought back bacon that still wasn't crispy and now the egg was cold. We had to ask if the burrito came with a side - yes - hashbrowns. No ketchup was brought for hashbrowns, no freezer jam offered for toast. Upon receiving our check, we asked if they had a lunch menu and were told we needed to ask for it when we came in. In my opinion we should have been asked which menu we preferred since it was 1:30pm. Favorite little "mom and pop" breakfast joint in this area. Hits the spot and I haven't gotten anything off the menu I didn't absolutely love. Swedish pancakes are a must-try but their Greek fare is also amazing. The different eggs bennies they have too offer a wide variety of flavor palettes to please. One time I was in with my boyfriend and we hadn't realized the closing time approaching. We just ate at our leisure like we always do and didn't realize it was past closing time until after we left. Nobody said anything negative, complained or pressured us to leave. I'll always remember that kindness and will always come back to eat here (and make sure I'm not late.) First off the food took a good 30 mins to arrive. When it did the toast was not toasted but felt like stale bread. Then the hash browns, though well browned, was completely flavorless so for the first time I used the table salt. Didn't help. Then I moved on to the Italian Joe scramble, wooow completely flavorless. How do you make Italian sausage flavorless?!? The cheese was not melted, the onions were raw. I literally couldn't stomach it and for the first time left a restaurant starving. I am never coming back, what a waste of money and calories. Servers were nice and my bf said the coffee was good. Ordered two breakfasts from Patty's Eggnest off UberEats around 8:50 this morning, my card was charged and I was given a delivery estimate of 30 minutes. 40 minutes passes and I get a call from the Uber driver saying Patty's Eggnest has told him they are not doing any deliveries or pick ups. THEN TAKE YOUR RESTAURANT OFF UBER EATS. It's pretty simple: if you don't want to accommodate deliveries during peak hours, MAKE YOUR RESTAURANT UNAVAILABLE ON FOOD DELIVERY APPS AND SITES. Don't let looks fool you. This place may look nice and quaint but that's just first impressions. Fiancée and I came her 3-15 and sat down. The young girl working was very standoffish as was the older gal working. My partner asked if they had cappuccinos. The girl rudely said no and walked away. 20 minutes past before we were finally able to order. She said she wanted crispy bacon. It started to pick up a little bit in the restaurant. They need to have more than one person working in the kitchen and one person taking orders. One guy got so mad he walked out. Patricia the lady taking the orders followed him out and said did you not want your hot chocolate? I just made it. He came back. He looked so mad. When she brought the food it looked good however the bacon pieces were all just fat. Same with my partners. I asked if I could have mine remade just a little crispier. She snatched my plate took it to the kitchen and began bitching about it. They can't seem to remember who ordered what. 30$ for two cokes and two breakfasts so it wasn't too steep But these people need an attitude adjustment. The bacon was clearly thrown back into the microwave because my whole plate was hot and the bacon was like eating leather . Warning unless you don't want to be grossed out don't read on: I am writing this review from my bathroom toilet because not even a half hour after eating it messed up my stomach. Disappointed is an understatement. Went there today for breakfast, later in the morning so there were probably about 3 tables besides ours. It took us over 20 minutes to take our order, and no refills on coffee. After taking our order, the waitress was telling every customer that she was really sick and continued to cough/sneeze and wipe her nose with her hands. Once our food came out it was all cold. Sausage was overcooked and cold. We didn't eat our food, but pick at it because the waitress was obviously sick. There was another person refilling coffee that wasn't the server, so perhaps that person could have turned food out. It was just gross. We will not be back. read more

Oh my goodness, where do I start? Don't come to this location! This was the most awful experience my partner and I have ever had with customer service. I love Patty's Eggnest, but this location disappointed us greatly. We tried to order our food, but wanted to make some modifications. As we ordered we decided to cancel our French Toast because our waitress said that it would be a lot food. To make sure she had cancelled it, we called her over afterwards and asked her if she had cancelled the French Toast. The attitude started here. She glared at my partner and became upset and said "No! You wanted to cancel your French Toast?" And continued to glare at my partner before angrily walking away...and then walking out of the restaurant. We could not believe that that had happened. We then asked one of the staff members who the manager was and she was confused. She spoke in Spanish to the lady at the counter who apparently was the manager. My partner and I are both Native Spanish speakers, so we then spoke to both of them in Spanish and they were still confused and rude. When we paid, the manager charged us and refused to speak to us (in English or Spanish) or to even look at us. We have never not tipped, but this was the first time. We are never going back! I had to get up from my chair and walk to the back where the menus were located and bring some back otherwise I'm not sure how long we would have waited just for some menus. The prices are quite pricey and the coffee as well. A cup of coffee is almost $4 and that's just for a basic cup of black coffee.
