We have dined at Patty's Eggnest for many years, and today we had the worst breakfast at Patty's Eggnest-Edmonds location on 28 DEC 2022 around 1145 AM. We both ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. There were no hashbrown, but the choice was fruit or O'Brien potatoes. We both chose O'Brien potatoes. The end results were poorly cooked eggs, too done; overcooked chicken fried streaks, poor warm sausage gravy, cold O'Brien potatoes; and partially grill English muffins and not toasted. Asked for the potatoes to be re-done and the waiter asked about microwaving the potatoes, I asked for the potatoes to be grilled. The potatoes took a long time and came back microwaved. The kitchen did not have the skill set to cook a simple breakfast. What a waste of time and money! read more

The service is terrible. Two waitresses pick and choose which table they would take orders from, not based on who came first. We (my elderly parents, my 2 toddlers, and myself) were seated for 30 minutes and I had to ask multiple times to get our order in. They were so snarky when seeing us brought our own coffee. Went in for breakfast while my car was being worked on. Food and service was great! Server was very attentive but not overbearing. Surprised how he was able to handle all of the tables, phone calls, and people and drivers picking up orders. Especially for a table of 13-17 year olds. It's seems pretty crazy to scam a bunch of kids out of giving you an almost 50% tip. This is a cozy little spot hidden by Winco. It's a small little spot, they have plenty options on different breakfast variations. French toast, waffles, eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak and the basic breakfast combos. It was very good and the service was amazing. I've tried to support local businesses throughout the last year, but this business does not seem to care to treat some customers well or even bother to get the food correct. Got home and no fries, just cold mashed potatoes and brown gravy. The chicken wing and drum were edible, but what I believe was a thigh was inedible. Dry and tasteless. I've never been to this location, though the Bothell location is my families favorite breakfast location, but I assumed the Edmonds location would be just as good as it is in Bothell. I was right. I also found their Uber Eats pricing very fair. That is not the case with many restaurants on Uber Eats. I am a regular customer in other locations and have visit this location a couple of times. In this visit multiple things happened. First, we usually order sandwiches or burgers but the waitress told us the current cook don't want to take any lunch orders. In other locations is stated in the menu that burgers are available only after noon but in this location that is not stated and we have ordered without issues in the past. Second, I ordered a coke and was served without ice, this is not a big deal but the waitresses in charge of serving coffee and drinks were distracted talking to each other for long period of time. Third, my wife ordered tilapia breakfast and the filete was not only undercook but some part completely uncook. Kudos to the waitress for trying to fix all the issues that happened. read more

Went here with my fiancé for breakfast this morning! Server and hostess were both very friendly. Asked us if we wanted coffee right away. We ordered two scrambles and biscuits with gravy.
