20 minute wait for a group of 5 on a Saturday in the early off season. It flew by because they poured us coffees and kept us updated on our table status as we sat on the benches outside. The two specials were pumpkin pancakes and peach pancakes. We got an order of each for the table in addition to our entrees and worried it was too much despite our 6 mile run and ocean swim. We were wrong. The peach pancakes were amazing. They were so thin and perfectly sweet that we didn't even put any syrup on them. The pumpkin pancakes were also delicious, not quite as spectacular as the peach pancakes but that would be pretty hard to do. We all had different varieties of eggs - omelets, an egg sandwich, and an eggs Benedict. We ate all of it including the toast and homefries which I often consider plate fillers. That was not the case here. This was truly a great experience from start to finish. We will be back again. read more

THE BEST! My family and I tried Patti's out for the first time this summer and I am so glad we did! The service is out of this world! The people are so nice and always very honest with you. Sometimes it might take a little while to get your food but the staff always let you know before hand so you know what to expect before sitting down. The food is amazing! I don't know what they do to their breakfast potatoes but they are the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had. I simply get a Greek omelette, and it is better than any Greek omelette I've ever had before. They just know what they are doing here! The restaurant is also adorable. Good food, good service, nice decor all around. A lot of brand new restaurants have problems with inventory management, new staff learning the ropes, etc. but we were pleasantly surprised here - seems like they've already got their stuff together. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a typical breakfast and lunch menu with something for everyone. I got the chicken finger platter, my dad got the egg salad sandwich, and my mom got a cheesesteak. The chicken fingers were good and both of my parents also enjoyed their meals. But thats about where the good part ended. I ordered the breakfast combo which came with 2 slices of French Toast (extra for seasonal fruit) two scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and multi-grain toast. The French toast was just too soggy for my liking, prior to even putting an syrup or anything on it! Scrambled eggs were fine. Turkey sausage was eh for me. But they do provide Hank's Hot Sauce if you ask for it, which was quite tasty. BF ordered the chicken & waffles which they claim as one of their Breakfast Specials. His ultimate comparison for this dish is the one from Top's Diner in Newark which comes with a half chicken (breast & wing/thigh). This one was a failure in comparison. Waffle was fine, covered in a sweet-gravy sauce. But there was literally 3 pieces of chicken tenders thrown on top. End result, probably won't be back here and was kind of sad I choose to come here instead of my all time favorite breakfast/lunch place down here (Shoutout to Meg's Grill). My fiancé and I went to breakfast here this past August. He had previously visited in July for lunch and enjoyed their food. This time we went for breakfast. The restaurant is cute inside and has a nice small outdoor seating area. The restaurant itself is kind of small. When we arrived around 10am, the hostess let us know it would be a 30 minuet wait. While we waited for the table, we went next door to the little boutique to kill some time. Once our table was ready, we were seated outside. Our waiter came pretty quickly for our drink orders. However, after we got our drinks, the service was slow. We waited approximately 40 mins. for our food. To be fair, Pattie's Kitchen was very busy which could account for the delay on our food. However, once we got our meal, I was underwhelmed. The waffle was not fluffy rather crispy and the turkey sausage was not my favorite. My fiancé thought his meal tasted "ok", but he was disappointed with the portion. I don't think I would return here for breakfast, but I would give them another chance for lunch. My girlfriend is a local of Normandy Beach and I was lucky enough to have her introduce me to this amazing restaurant! The food and atmosphere are both out of this world. The wait staff are very kind and attentive and they know exactly what we will be ordering to drink as soon as they walk up to the table! The wait is never too long (we are enjoying it while it lasts because the summer is coming up quick) and we get our drink orders very fast.
