We decided last minute to move my sister in laws birthday dinner to Patsys Roadhouse. We were a larger group and added a few more people. Everyone I spoke to from the hostess to the manager was communicative and accommodating. Our server (Phil or Bill- sorry I forgot) and the team were on point. Phil (the server) - was attentive and timely despite all of the requests thrown his way. He was the perfect balance of being there without being over bearing. The food was quick to come out and delicious. At my end of the table the chili and the pretzel apps were huge hits. The wine and the seasonal sangria were amazing. The burgers and ribs were perfect. First time going to Patsy's despite living minutes away. Always looked busy and bustling and heard how good is amazing. We sat outside on a beautiful day- relaxing and perfect eve to sit outside. When ordering drinks, I asked the waiter if I could taste the sangria in a small shot glass before spending $12 on a drink- not all sangrias are the same! I was denied so I thought I'd take the chance and I ordered the white sangria. What arrived was a glass of dry white wine with. It up fruit that was placed on top of the glass- this was not Sangria. I then asked for a simple glass of Montepulciano. I ordered the ribs for dinner- fall of the bone they wer not. The ribs were over cooked and rewarmed for dinner. The meat was so dry and tough. They came home in a doggy bag for the pups Best part about Patsy's that night was the basket of chips and dip they place on the table for you to munch on while waiting for your drinks and dinner. What a great local find! My husband and I went to Patsy's last night and loved it! The food was delicious, service was great and the tables are spacious and comfortable. Everything we tried was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I had the giant pretzel app and the crab cake salad, both of which tasted awesome. We'll definitely be back many times. The pretzel and the French onion soup are some really cool plates. They ingeniously serve small scissors to cut the long strings of cheese when you're eating the cheesy soup and the pretzel is bigger than your head! It's also served with 3 awesome dipping sauces. It's unfair to give this place 1 star or 2 stars just because of a drink pour or a one off with a staff member. To be honest I've heard very mixed reviews for Patsys. Since most of the complaints have been about the owners, not about the food - I decided to try it out for myself. Inside is very nice, large open space and appeared to be very clean. The menu consists of bar/pub food. Wings, burgers, sandwiches etc. We started with hot wings, which were very good. When you sit down you are given some home made potato chips and dip, which I liked but they could use some salt. I went with a burger for my main course (I couldn't pronounce the one I ordered and needed the help of the waitress) Although it was extremely messy I enjoyed it. I really think toasting the bun would make the burger stay together better, the bottom of mine quickly fell apart. (Note I did order it medium rare which may have contributed to that). Waffle fries were very good. Staffing was good and our waitress was attentive and friendly. I did not have any interaction with any owners that I know of, so I cannot contest to the negative feedback I've heard of them. Overall I enjoyed Patsys and plan to return soon. Finally a good restaurant in Hopewell! I work nearby and we will go here once a month for lunch meetings. I really like the sweet potato chips and aioli that they bring out for you once you are seated. Most of the items I've had are quite good. Burgers, Caesar salad, grilled chicken sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich, fries, veggie side (carrots & broccoli), chili - all very tasty. Their potato salad and mac and cheese were not too good, but those have been the only disappointing menu items thus far. The service is friendly and I like the space. read more

Such a disappointment. Wings dripping with grease. Mushy, floppy pancake-like crab cake. Salads and sandwiches missing ingredients. Terrible fries that are clearly straight out of the freezer. My kids barely touched their mac and cheese (dry on top and pool of thin, smoky sauce on the bottom of the dish) and grilled cheese (overly greasy and floppy). Like many places, they seem understaffed (maybe one of the two hosts should jump in to help bus?). New restaurant with pub food for majority of the menu. Food is really good and service was top notch. The building is brand new and decor is simple but very nice. The staff hustled the entire time we were there and there seems to be very little "new restaurant pains" and they've only been open a week or so that's really impressive. We had different burgers and a buffalo chicken sandwich in our group and all were great. The real surprise was how good the pretzel appetizer is. It's far and away the best one we've had and the mustard, cheese and frosting were superb. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is the sweet potato chips they give when you are seated, but that's just because I don't like sweet potato chips. To start off, I deducted 1 star because our waitress spilled our sweet potato chips and caught them with her arm. The chips came in contact with her skin! Perfect) that came with corn bread (yuk), broccoli (over cooked/limp), and a yummy cesar salad. Let's talk about the corn bread. It was probably the worst I've ever had. I mean it wasn't disgusting but it was sooo under seasoned, wasn't sweet, didn't taste like corn, and was extremely dry and brittle. A 50cent box of jiffy corn muffin mix tastes way better! My brother got a custom made burger which was $14 for a pretty plain burger. My brother wanted a plain burger but the price was ridiculous. Don't let the fact that this is a new restaurant keep you from coming. This place is a very welcome spot to the Fishkill area. Start with drinks down by the bar and apps if you want. Great bartenders and very good selection of both spirits and beer - not to forget their wine selection as well. After your table is ready head upstairs to great service and wonderful food. If you need to wait for a seat - do yourself a favor and wait. Burgers (both beef and bean) are really tasty (design your own is pretty cool) and the wings are out of this world. So excited to have a new restaurant in town! Was there on a Saturday at 11 AM when they opened, so there we had the waiter's total attention. We were greeted right away. The sweet potato chips and dip were a nice surprise and a unique touch. My companion and I shared two salads. Both were very large and very fresh. The southwest salad was perfect with grilled corn, black beans, tomatoes, crispy tortilla chips, fresh avocado and cilantro lime dressing. The beet salad was delicious with fresh greens, multicolor beets, goat cheese, cranberries and a balsamic vinaigrette. Although I ate the most of this salad, it could use a few less cranberries and the addition of some nuts or seeds for texture and crunch. Overall, a great first experience. I even purchased a gift card as a birthday gift. Can't wait to come back for dinner and drinks. **Note: PLEASE add gluten free bread &/or rolls to your offerings. Honestly, hearing that you didn't offer them, I almost chose to leave. There's nothing more exciting for a gluten free person than to go to a restaurant knowing they can enjoy a burger or sandwich just like everyone else. As I explained to the owner's daughter, it's so simple, as most gluten free bread is best kept frozen and then toasted anyways. Based on a recommendation we went to Patsy's the other day and we overall disappointed (based on what we saw when we were there the recommendation might have been more because children seem to be free to run wild in the bar area). I'll start with the good, the waitstaff was exceptional and attentive. They also made an excellent Burger. Unfortunately all of the rest of the food was pretty bad. Just a quick breakdown of some of the worst offenders. Nachos: There were multiple layers of Nachos but only the top most layer had any cheese (meaning most of the plate went uneaten), but the worst offense was there was some sort of green mayonnaise based sauce on top that was outright disgusting (seriously who puts mayo on Nachos?) We ate at Patsy's 3/2/22 and were very disappointed. Service was very rushed but tables were left uncleared after the patron(s) had left. My friend had the Cod and it was not only burned but there was also barely any fish in a sea of breadcrumbs (They did take it off the check and replaced it with a free bowl of soup as she asked). I had the Bean Burger, also burned but I didn't bother complaining. The Kentucky Mule cocktail was great, however. We were asked if we wanted dessert and we said no, with a check appearing immediately among the dirty dinner dishes and plates. Very pleased with our visit last evening. We were a party of 3 and the hostess said 40 minute wait which ended up only being 20 minutes. PROS: Great variety on the menu, loved the table runner service, enjoyed our meals. Unfortunately after only one great experience and several poor experiences since Patsy's opening, I feel compelled to update my review and not recommend this restaurant. We've had one okay and one good experience but several poor experiences with subpar food and very poor service. Tonight we went out, hoping for a nice night out as we don't go out much these days. There was a wait which was not a problem, we spent some time at the bar and our bartender was great (her counterpart not so much...). We should have just stayed at the bar and eaten there because our service at our table outside was horrific. We saw our sever to take our order and that was it! The bussing staff brought us food and got us our check. The food was actually terrible and eventhough Patsys is nearly in walking distance from my home, I will not be going back. This place is all around great. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. Our server was great, she was polite and made sure everything was to our liking. The food was delicious. We got fried pickles to start and then we got the bbq burger and denny's cheese steak. The fried pickles with perfect and the Siracha mayo was a great pairing. The burger was perfectly cooked and the cheese steak was also delicious. We finished it off with one of their delicious milkshake. I have enjoyed sitting in the downstairs bar area which has a good number of tvs. The waitress was very accommodating when I asked to put a soccer game on one of the screens. Go here! The food is outstanding. This is elevated pub food. We had the pretzel appetizer which was outstanding - it was pretzely but also flaky and pastry-like at the same time - amazing! I got the dry rub ribs with BBQ sauce on the side - they were smoky, tender, and bursting with complex flavor. My husband got the pesto and mozzarella chicken sandwich which was alright - but he should've known better to stick with the pub food. Our son got the burger sliders, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I have never posted a negative review for a local restaurant, but in this case I must. Seems there is something very wrong going on with this restaurant. Back in August I met with the manager and booked a reservation for approximately/up to 28 people for a family early Christmas dinner for Dec. 9th at 4pm. I tried to discuss possible menu choices for one vegan and a few gluten fee guests. I was told the owner would call me regarding this. When I got no response I attempted to follow up to no avail. I was finally called on Oct. 27th (after waiting more than 2 months) by the "new" manager. My reservation was confirmed and I went in person to discuss the menu. She informed me that we would be charged a room/large group fee of $1,000 on top of our food and drink tab. This was the first I had heard of any fee. She said it was not negotiable. Stunned, I left a message again for the owner to call me to discuss, which never happened. My friends and I have patronized this restaurant many times but I will not be back. They totally wasted my time and had no regard for customer service whatsoever. read more

Place was dead. We were one of 4 tables. We got our drinks and we're totally forgotten about.

First off the atmosphere and setting feels really great. The smell was very rustic and I loved every minute of it. (Pre-COVID, of course.) My personal favorites are the Giant Pretzel (Hanging by a Thread) the Bison Burger with Bleu Cheese, the Nachos, the Milkshake (I alternate between Vanilla and Chocolate), the Dr Pepper Float, and the Quesadilla. My advice however is to always eat at Pasty's, weather it's outdoor and indoor dining. I ordered takeout from Patsy's once and while it was still really good, I think a few of our orders were messed up, but this was early this year right as Covid hit. Personally I love this restaurant and I hope you enjoyed reading this review. I've been to Patsy's about 10 times since the opened. Great decor inside and the bar area is nice for wings and a beer (or your entire meal). The giant pretzel is a must and my go to Buffalo chicken sandwich is amazing. Staff is always friendly, the restaurant is always clean and the food is always delicious.
