Patros is a solid pizza spot. I ordered online which was quick and easy and they had a promo on Toast for $5 off your first order. We got a large pizza with salami and mushrooms and ten mango habanero wings. The order came when promised and the restaurant even called in advance to confirm the time. The pizza was good. I'd prefer it a bit crispier and would probably ask for extra sauce next time, but the amount of toppings and cheese was good. The wings were also cooked crispy as requested online and the sauce was good. Overall, I think this is a good spot. I also got the fry and soda combo. I was missing the soda, and the fries portion is equivalent of an "overstuffed" size small fries from McDonald's, and they were luke warm but still tasty. The wait wasn't terribly long. Probably 45 minutes. The food arrived nice a hot. I was disappointed that the medium pizza was more like a small, as compared to other local pizza places. The side of friends were yummy, salted and enough crisp. If you like a lot of cheese, cheese lovers will like this pizza. Got two large pepperoni pizzas and a 2 L of Pepsi for under $22 including taxes. My two 16" pizzas were not really anything amazing but with that said nothing really was bad ether. I was craving a chicken Parmesan sub so I decided on Patro's. I placed my order thru one of the food apps. The ordering process was relatively seamless. The only issue was the combo I ordered (which included fries and a drink) didn't allow me to select my beverage. At the end of the order you have room to write specifics (extra sauces, salt, pepper etc.) I should have picked a drink there but figured I'd still the oppty to choose before finalizing the order. Nope. Not the case. As I had feared, turns out the free drink was Coke. I hate Coke. I digress... on the upside, I can try that experiment to see if Coke can actually remove the dulling residue built on the headlights of my car. I can also check to see if it can actually remove any buildup on my car battery, if there is any [as these are just two of the numerous purposes/claims Coke can provide aside from just being a soft drink... yay! I love a good experiment] On to the meal or as I'd like to call it, the 'Carb Load'. As noted above, I ordered the chicken parmesan sub meal/combo. This game with fries and a soft drink. The french fry order was warm, tasty, lightly salted, crunchy on the outside and nice and flaky on the inside. Perfect fries and they were plentiful. The chicken parm sub had to be at least a foot if not 14 inches long. I was so excited to chow down on this massive sub. When picking up the sub, I couldn't help but notice the light weight of this sub. There was roughly the equivalent of one breast pulverize into an ultra thin cutlet that was distributed along this 12 to 14 inch piece of bread. This, of course, is to say there was hardly any meat on this sub. The whole point of ordering this meal was to satiate my craving for a good chicken parm sub. Instead I got a massive piece of bread with lots of tomato sauce some cheese and this thin, sad, soggy, breaded cutlet that served more as a seasoning to the bread than as the main course, as intended. Pretty good and decent pricing for what I tried tonight. 10" cheese pizza is regularly $4.99 for carry out, but they have it for $5.99 with 2 toppings & can of soda. I got 2 of those deals... one pizza was chicken n pineapple, the other was spinach n feta cheese. Crust was just a bit thicker than I wanted, but not so much that I didn't enjoy the pizza itself. There was a little crispness to it as well as some chew, and the dough flavor was pretty good. Sauce didn't stand out one way or the other, so I'm counting that as okay. First off...I'm surprised to see only 2 stars. On the local Grub Hub site in Baltimore, I noticed 4 stars; had I been informed I would have bypassed them! With that stated Patros delivered to me a burnt (literally) Stromboli and to make matters worst about 1/3 to 1/2 of the contents were 'missing in action' (literally). I have never had such an experience. Not to mention they charged me $15.00 and I of course tipped the driver for a timely delivery. So even if you order & check the outside...its not until you cut it open that you will realize half of the meat/veg. etc. is missing. I actually ate just bread with nothing or in some bite or just 1 peperoni slice between bread (again I ordered meat lovers) ...and this was the center of the Stromboli smh. I ordered once before same item & it was delicious. The bread seems always homemade...which is a shame to do the rest such injustice. So unless you are the sort of person who doesn't mind a hit or miss...skip this joint. Easily the worst experience I've had at a pizza shop. I got their flyer on my door and figured I'd give them a try, what a mistake. I arrived at the shop to pick up my pizza and it wasn't made yet. While Patro's is a weekly (or more) stop for me because of proximity, I would definitely travel more than 2 blocks to get food from here. It is one of my favorite take-out spots, and I am usually very picky about my junk food options. Although my go-to are the chicken fingers and fries (both very crispy and delicious), the buffalo wings are some of the largest I've ever seen, and a dozen of the monsters could last me many days of snacking. The burgers aren't bad either, and a good take-out burger if you're tired of the industrial taste of McDonalds. They also come with a spicy sauce/relish that I love, but can't put my finger on. My friend has also gotten the Indian style Pizza before, and it's pretty unique and delicious. It was juicy with plenty of gravy and onions. Perfect. The mashed potatoes it came with were delicious as well. My friend ordered a grilled cheese with bacon. The cheese was perfectly melty and there was plenty of both the cheese and bacon. The mozzarella sticks were pretty standard for a pizza place.
