Fresh delicious Italian, delivered piping hot! For a get-together (Sep 2025) we were coming from all directions, and some directly from work, so delivery was the right choice. We like this little local place for their always freshly-made Italian foods, and their so-hot-it's-hard-to-carry delivery! They make great pizza, but this time we went for calzones (for the extra crust :-) and a sandwich. We got a savory juicy stuffed $10 calzone, i think it was sausage & pepperoni & mozzarella wrapped in a flakey crust, sprinkled with bright oregano, with tasty garlic sauce and a thick tomato-dipping-sauce. And we got another one, richly-flavored spinach and mozz, so the veggie-minded had dinner, too :-) We added pretty-spicy "mild" buffalo wings. They're spicy-enough for us mild-folks, so ask for "hot" for more fun :-) I really liked their savory flavorful tender "Italian" mozzarella cheesesteak, $12 for a footlong, made with mushrooms, onions, sweet green-peppers, and a light saucing with marinara, in on a toasty flakey roll. You can add tomatoes and spicy peppers and a few other topping for free, and a few others that cost a little. We love these folks and their delicious "home-made"-tasting Italian food, and it's delivered fast and piping-hot. A great gummy chewy soft pizza! Great portion that's filling for the price. Loved every bite truly. I was hungry and 8 pieces of quality pizza really filled me up. We had pick-up through Uber Eats. 25 minutes and they were ready. We got the Special Delights and Greek Pizzas. Both were incredible. The onions and green peppers are so crunchy and fresh. We are in town from Oklahoma for the Ravens game. Decided to have a quit bite and wanted some local pizza. We found Mikie's close by and decided to give them a try instead of the normal pizza chains. I'm glad we did! We ordered a meat lovers pizza and a calzone. The best thing to us both was the sauce! It was really great! The food was fresh and they didn't skimp on toppings or cheese! No need to request extra cheese here. They have you covered! My only complaint was we requested parmesan cheese and peppers along with extra marinara sauce for the calzone and didn't receive them. The Good: The ownership and staff is wonderful. Super nice, super great to interact with either inside or through delivery. The speed of service is top notch, super fast when you order. They deliver! The calzone - really pleasantly surprised, it is now a staple of our household orders. The Okay: The pizza is decent. At the size and price you are competing with Pizza Bolis or Hilltop or something like that, not with Barflys or Hersh's. I'd say for cheap, quick, basic pizza in the neighborhood they win out. I'm pretty Airpar with the low ratings. I've never eaten here before but I ordered off uber eats tonight. I got a special delight pizza which, and the gyro. Food is always great but I suggest calling into the shop to order. We never have issues with the order when I do that, but the few times I have tried it through Uber the order gets accepted but it never gets delivered. As I said, order over the phone and you will not be disappointed! read more

I haven't had Mikie's pizza in a couple years. I remember them having a good thin crust pizza that reminded me of NY pizza I had in college. So, I ordered one and it was pretty disappointing. The sauce was kind of sour. The crust was thin and crispy but had a strong yeasty flavor. And (very sadly) the sausage tasted like plain meatballs. I really am pretty forgiving with reviews and all and am not a foodie by any means but this is easily a 1 star place. I ordered a beef gyro and a chicken gyro, and got two white bread sub rolls that were filled with hamburger meat instead of a pita or any gyro meat of any type (both of them - even the one that was supposed to be chicken). yummy Margherita Pizza topped with lots of garlic, fresh tomatoes and basil. SO GOOD! We ordered for delivery and the pizza came within 30 minutes. They gave us extra marinara sauce and garlic butter as well. We ordered chicken wings and a sub as well. This is a Great Local Spot for Takeout. I came during My Lunchbreak to get a Cheesesteak Sub, they had a combo cit a great price and I was happy. Do not order their cheese steaks. They were soggy and the meat was the same meat that is used in Steak-Ums. I literally took two bites and had to throw it in the trash because my sandwich was so wet and disgusting. My buffalo wings were nothing special, either. My delivery was a waste of money; however, the delivery time was very quick. I've had the pizzas and company meetings and they're definitely better than subs. This place is under new management and is a good little local spot! Pizza can be a little greasy but still seasoned well and very tasty. The calzones are also very good. We live close by so we don't order delivery but for pickup it's usually never longer than a 30 minute wait even at their busiest times. I will never order from Mikies again and urge anyone doing so to please beware. I ordered a calzone from here at 6:50 pm on a Thursday night. I was quoted 45 minutes as my delivery time. By 8pm I had not received it so I called in to see the status. I was quickly and rashly told that my order was out for delivery and on its way. At 8:25 it still was not here so I again called and was told that they were sending it out now. I quickly asked why he had told me 25 minutes ago it went out and why they had lied to me about this. He made up something about how the delivery drive had left then but was not going directly to me and he had traveled "all around the world" to delivery. It was difficult interacting with the man on the phone as he had a thick accent and poor control of the english language. At this point I was quite hungry and annoyed (1.5 hours at this point from time of order) but said alright and hung up. At 9"00 the food was not here, so I went to the bottom of my hotel to see if he was out front, when he wasn't, I called back and asked why it wasn't there. He claimed that it was still "out for delivery", and that it was very close. I said that if he had left the place an hour ago there is no reason that it sholdn't be here, and that if it was here it was definitely going to be cold. At this point I told him that 2 hours and 10 minutes was unacceptable and that he should just refund me and forget it. After saying this he made up something about the delivery driver being in front of my hotel right now, at the front door. I looked around and saw no one and called him a liar again. I reiterated that I wanted to cancel, he keep saying that the food was here and I should go check. I kept saying he wasn't. At this point I told him sorry please cancel this it is unacceptable and we hung up. I was now hungry and everything around me was closed, so I walked to a subway. I got back to my room and recieved a call from teh front desk at 9:30 saying that a delivery man from Mikie's was here ( this ia a half hour later then my last call, so much for being in front of my place at 9 and leaving to deliver at 8). I told her I had canceled my order. They went back and never refunded my money, I had to dispute with the Credit Card company For the record, thats 2 hours and 40 minutes for a delivery. That is by far the most rediculous experience I have EVER had and will never ever even dream of ordering from this place again. I can understand long times (not this long), but the lies.... When you add to the painfully long delivery time the fact that I was repeatedly lied to over the phone, this place should be avoided, especially with the other good options available in the area. read more
