Sadly our lunch, sandwiches and fruit took over 30 minutes and I had to check on the status of our food. Of course they came out after I inquired and did get an apology. Staff then came back to check on us to see if everything was ok and that the owner wanted to give us some cookies, due to the delay. Now, that's customer service! The vibe is very nice and love the feel of the cafe and it definitely doesn't feel like you are in Fargo, but rather France!!

The space was clean and the staff were attentive. I then made my way over to the bakery and restaurant side. The signs make it very clear to understand the breakouts. If you are ordering pastries and coffee you will be on one side, whereas, if you are looking to order off the menu with full service, you will be on the bar side. Nichole's is a well oiled machine. The setup is easy to navigate and the concept is unique. Blending pastries, coffee, cakes, cooking products, wine, breakfast, lunch and dinner into one space is magnificent. I loved my intimate dine in session ordering the avocado toast on sourdough bread with an over hard egg and an orange hot tea. It was the perfect blend and was the best avocado toast I ever had. My belly was far too full after brunch so I went to the bakery side after and bought a chocolate raspberry muffin (also the best muffin I've ever had), chocolate chip cookies (darn near ate them all in one setting) and poppyseed thumbprint cookies with a raspberry filling (jaw dropping). There are so many more products to taste and see so I highly recommend a visit. I totally look forward to my return in August so I can dabble more with pastries and get into the espresso world too. Thank you, Nichole's!! Glorious all around. Bravo!

Review Visit: July 12th, 2015…read more On the journey to Canada, my cousin's family and I stopped in Fargo, ND to grab some coffee to help perk us up after driving all night and it was a great stop. Inside Babb's is a cozy coffeehouse with a very nice staff and your typical menu for food and drinks. I bought us all drinks to help revive everyone since we had been driving non-stop at that point, with a quick stop in Minneapolis, MN for breakfast at Hazel's Northeast. Everyone enjoyed their drinks, thankfully. Mine was pretty good, just wish they would've blended the caramel in with the drink instead of drizzling it on there, but other than that, it was great. They seem to offer food and baked goods, but since we just ate pretty recently, we didn't get to sample their food.

While the lunch options were very limited (3-5 items), I know I will be coming back. I ordered the Artichoke and Humus sandwich, which comes with a side side salad. And the price was only $4.50! Initially, artichoke and humus doesn't jump out as something I would normally get. The taste and texture of the sandwich was perfect. The bread was toasted and the cheese melted. I added a glass bottle of Coke to my order. To top off the experience, we ate on the patio which is off the alley through the back door. The weather was perfect and their patio is quaint & comfortable as it is surrounded on three sides by 2 story brick buildings - which gives a different vibe than you experience at other traditional patios in Fargo.

Unfortunately, even though we were the only people dining in the restaurant, it took almost 30 minutes for our food to arrive. By that point, we were very hungry! We ordered two salads and a sandwich, so the wait felt especially long. The salads were just okay and on the smaller side for the price. My salad was $14, and my husband had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken for $20. My son ordered the club sandwich, which was really good, and the fries were excellent--although the portion was quite small. Overall, Rosewild has a beautiful atmosphere and friendly service, but the long wait and small portions made it a 3.5/5 experience for us. There were definitely some highlights, especially the club sandwich and fries, but we expected a little more for the price. Great location right downtown with street parking available.

My one suggestion to the restaurant would be to mark DF (dairy free) on the menu, a lot of us can't have dairy!
