We've been using Clifford for several years. Quick service, knowledgable, and always wanting to provide the right solution, not necessarily the one that will benefit him financially in the short term. I would strongly recommend him for any AC work! read more

Clifford is terrific. He is very knowledgeable and down to earth. He only takes personal check or cash.

Clifford & Ty's customer service, pricing & knowledge is truly outstanding! They sold & installed our new Bryant system 8 years ago. When we had cooling issues Clifford & Ty were quick to fit us in & follow up when the unit wouldn't turn off as Texas summer heats way up! read more

We used Clifford for many, many years on all our houses. Trust his work and recommendations. We installed 2 new AC units with him. Hasn't had any issues with either. Today, 2026 (almost 8 years since our first AC installation), he is back for the first time for regular maintenance. He is training his grandson, and both are great to work with. read more

Clifford did a great job on replacing my 21 year old unit. He was very reasonable, friendly and knowledgeable. read more

I have the privilege to meet Clifford, he is a very honest, reliable and knowledgeable on his field. I call him about a year back after another company had suggested to buy a new system $9k he fixed and charge us less than $250. I just brought another property and he was prompt to come and help us to get this AC tune up, vey fast. I highly recommended his services read more

Clifford has been our go-to heating and AC man for many, many years. He has always been prompt, honest, professional, extremely competent in his work and an all-around nice person. He's always given us excellent advice and we just wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of our heating and AC units. Thank you for taking care of us for all these years, Clifford! Clifford knows his stuff! After receiving a quote from another AC company who told us we needed an entire new system for 9k or replace the coil for 2K, we got a second opinion. I'm so glad we did! Clifford was able to find the problem which was that our roofer accidentally nailed into one of the pvc pipes and caused a hole leaking Freon. Clifford patched the hole and added Freon. He also said our coil was under warranty and that the other company would've known that based on the date. Glad to find someone honest and hardworking! read more

We had our compressor in our fridge go out. When I called Patriot, Paul immediately answered the phone which was a huge plus. He showed up the next day to assess the situation and I was really impressed with the knowledge he possesses. He gave me an estimate within minutes after seeing the problem and came back the next day to fix it. What I liked about Paul is that he cuts to the chase... he doesn't dilly-dally around. He gets right to it. It's obvious he truly enjoys his line of work, which seems to be a rarity these days! Strongly recommend Patriot! read more

My neighbor gave me Clifford's number and I called him and left a message. He called back within 10 minutes and was at my house within 25 minutes and was able to quickly diagnose a bad capacitor. Excellent service!! read more

Clifford has always taken great care of us, fast and reasonable service. Highly recommend him.

I've used Clifford and his team for years. No AC problem is to hard or too small. Just a few weeks ago, I had Patriot AC out to install a new damper system and dual zoned thermostat. They knocked it out within 4 hours and under the (already reasonable) price they quoted me. There is no one else I trust with my HVAC needs. Clifford and his team are the gold standard by which all other HVAC service providers should be measured. read more

I first called Clifford to price adding a whole house filter to AC at a home we had just purchased. He checked, and turns out we already had one. Sigh. He was very gracious about my senior moment, and declined to submit a bill. Next, I sent him a text asking him to do a spring tune-up on the AC. I forgot I'd asked (seeing a trend here :) ). He called a few days ago, I was home for spring apocalypse. He installed an adapter for the kind of filter I said I wanted back when, installed a new filter he had bought, checked and cleaned the system, and documented model and serial numbers in *legible* writing on his invoice. All for a very reasonable price. I don't see how these service calls could have gone any better. Highly, highly recommended. read more

Clifford is a straight shooter. He shows up when he says. Returns calls quickly. Gives clear and honest quotes with different options. Does not upsell and feels no need to tell me how good or reliable he is; he just IS. read more

Like most reviewers said, Clif is very honest and knowledgeable. His price is not cheap, he even says that himself, but my husband and I both know that if we hire him, the job is done professionally and right the first time. One time we explain the problem on the phone, he told us what to do over the phone, and said if that works, then I don't need to come which saves you the service fee. He was recommended by a friend and we recommended him to my mom (who, like most mom are very picky). Now, my mom only trusts him to fix her AC issue. Thank god, now she doesn't bug us when she have AC issue! read more

It's always the best service, and that doesn't change. Clifford came out as soon as possible after a recent lightning strike hit our A/C and determined how to get us cool air right away. The circuit board to the A/C was fried and needed replacement, and he came up with a work around until we could get a new one, which he had done soon after. Count on him for an honest solution and good workmanship! read more

My A/C stopped working yesterday at 4pm. I hoped it was just frozen up so I turned everything off until the morning to let it thaw. It hadn't been frozen and still wasn't working. I called Clifford Worthy at 8am. By 10am, the unit was blowing cold air again! Patriot Services really came through for us and got us up and running for less than $100. It turned out to be a very simple problem and Clifford fixed it immediately without trying to sell us any other services or unnecessary parts. Since instituting the "Don't Touch It If You Don't Know What You're Doing" rule in our house, calling in a professional was necessary. We met Clifford 8 years ago when he came to fix a gas leak on the furnace in a house we were renting and we were very impressed with his honesty and professionalism. I recommended him to my sister and she's used him for her HVAC needs in a couple of different homes now. We wouldn't consider using anyone else. read more

I was referred to Patriot Services by a plumber who assured me that Clifford would be honest and trustworthy and, of course, he was!. He helped us out quickly and for a more than fair price. Now our heater works and my husband can stop sleeping in a sleeping bag. Poor husband. read more

I have nothing but praise for Clifford and his grandson(?) Ty. They came in here right on time, very pleasant and went right to work. Ty seemed already seasoned so he's probably being reviewed by the master. Watching Clifford's diagnostics tests was like being in class again. He explained thoroughly what was going on and how things worked. I learned of things that i haven't encountered yet. They fixed the problem which was within the condenser unit. He also gave me advice for inevitable scenarios. The whole process seemed quick and pretty soon everything was in working order. It took longer for me to write this. On top of that, the price was reasonable! What an honest and true professional. I wouldn't call anyone else. read more

Cliff has done AC work for me a few times. When appropriate, he's given me options on whether or not to do a full long term repair or a patch up. Sometimes that's not needed, and when it's not, he doesn't push for an up sell. After a few years of patching, we decided to go for a full system replacement and he handled it with no problem, on short notice. read more

Clifford is the best! He's honest, hard-working and I trust him and his word. He works to provide the best service at a reasonable price. I've asked Clifford for advice during builds and learned a lot from him. Thank you Clifford for nearly 20 years of service to me and my family. I wish there was a sixth star. Clifford is my hero! We've been on a first-name basis for years, and he'll pick up his phone at 5:59pm during a hard freeze when my furnace has gone out, and talk me through startup so I don't freeze. This man has earned his wings. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my AC or furnace. read more

Our air conditioning unit stopped working and the house felt a little like a sauna. A friend gave me Patriot Services contact details. I called and Clifford came out within 2 hours. He spent several hours with us, finding and repairing the issue including travelling to exchange a part still under warranty. In addition, he checked the entire system and found a few other small issues which he corrected. Clifford made sure that everything was thoroughly checked. The amount he charged was very reasonable. He was professional and explained everything well. I have his card now and would not hesitate to recommend him to others. Excellent service! read more

Our AC went out so I called Clifford who was out here fixing it in a hour. He was reasonable and honest. We will definitely call him again. Thank you! read more

Clifford saved the hot summer day on 6/22/16. Walked into to my home after a long days work and realized it was 80 degrees inside. Went and checked some simple stuff out on the ac unit and had came down to the blower motor wasn't working. My parents have used Clifford for over ten years so he was the first to call. Over the phone he gave me suggestions on stuff to check and said he would be over right away. AWESOME !! His diagnosis was the blower motor and of course it was a special one he would have to order. He installed a motor to get me by until the new unit came in. That next wensday he came by with the now part and it's working better than ever. I would recommend cliff to anyone if they are looking for honest and fast service. read more

My AC needed a fan motor. After three service calls two capacitors and finally a fan motor the unit works. At a tune of $1200.00

Patriot is incredible! I reached out to them in mid August after a number of other AC repairs companies with high marks on Yelp failed to return my calls. I got a call back in less than a half-hour from Clifford and he helped me fix my issue right over the phone. He was very conscientious about not setting a visit just for the sake of charging me and patiently walked me through the issue via calls and texts. Turns out my problem was a simple issue to fix but I couldn't have figured it out without them. Patriot service is phenomenal and I will use them again and refer them to all my friends. read more

Fast, professional and fairly priced. Called on a Sunday night, had everything fixed up on Monday morning (fixed a broken capacitor and topped up the coolant). Great work. read more

We had an AC unit replaced by Clifford Worthy from Patriot Air. We had several others look at our unit and quote the work but wanted to check with Patriot Air Conditioning because my father had a good experience with Mr. Worthy. He was very professional and did everything he promised. We got a competitive price and appreciated his honesty. We could have had him just fix our coil and that is what he said would do the job, but we opted to replace the entire unit. We were not at all pressured to do that and we appreciated Mr. Worthy telling us our options without pushing for the most expensive alternative. We would gladly use him again! read more
