Getting a new roof has to be one of the most stressful things a homeowner does. I can't speak for anyone else, but a re-roof is way out of my areas of expertise, and it's going to be expensive. Benjamin and Patch Roofing made it easy. The consultation with Benjamin was straightforward, educational and was not a high-pressure sales pitch (like the other two estimates we got). He laid everything out clearly and left the decision up to us. We went with him, and couldn't be happier. Their demo team showed up on time and had the entire roof removed in one day. Anything that roofing debris could fall on was covered, and they meticulously cleaned up at the end of the day. Other than the fact that our roof was down to bare wood, you wouldn't even know they were there. After city inspection, it took only 1-1/2 days to completely re-roof the house and two patio covers. Everything looks great and I'm sure we'll be in good shape for the upcoming El Nino rains. They had to replace a few pieces of wood, and those were painted to match the rest of the trim. Just like demo day, there was no indication that an entire crew was working on our house. Everything was cleaned up to perfection. If you're doing multiple estimates, have them see you last. You'll see the difference from high-pressure sales presentations to a company that is building word-of-mouth recommendations. Just like this one. read more

I found Patch Roofing through a friend who recommended them, and I'm very happy I chose to work with them. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Landreson , the project manager, did a wonderful job. He brought samples of the materials and explained everything clearly, going over every detail of the project so I knew exactly what to expect. The work was done professionally and the whole process felt very organized and smooth. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs roofing work. read more

I have a large split level house with several different roof lines. I had several leaks about 9 years after moving in and called Patch Roofing for an estimate. Benjamin came out and did the estimate. He walked the various roof surfaces and also used a drone to examine them. He recommended replacing the shingles completely on all the roof lines since they apparently had not been installed correctly be a previous contractor. His estimate allowed for patch replacement of the plywood, and said he thought that would be enough. I asked around some friends about the price and was told it was a good price for the job, so we went ahead. Benjamin and Robert (the foreman) were super responsive and very helpful and they operated under a tight timeline (I was leaving on an extended trip to India at the end of the week so there was no ability to run over the timeline). They completed all the work, dealt with permitting and inspections, and were scrupulous in cleaning up, so no flat tires from discarded nails littering the forecourt in front of the house. I would definitely recommend Patch Roofing without the slightest reservation. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would... read more

My experience working with Landerson at Patch Roofing was of such good quality that I need to recommend them. From the initial inspection through construction and completion, Landerson was detailed in every step and communicated along the way. If we had any concerns, he was patient, understanding, and quick to help solve any issue. His roofing team was exceptionally skilled, making our roof look brand new with beautifully aligned tiles. He was great at keeping the project on budget, and even though they had to replace more of the wood roofing than expected, he did not nickel-and-dime us. We had a minor issue with the gutter installation, but after I pointed it out, he had his crew come back and redo it. He never made me feel like I was being too picky; instead, he took all my concerns seriously and made sure the final work met my standards. I really appreciated that. If you need any roof work done, I highly recommend working with Landerson. read more

Landerson completed a very detailed review of the property. He priced the whole job fairly. Patch Roofing did a fine job replacing/repairing a 30+ year old roof. Landerson and team did an outstanding professional job. Started early and completed by mid afternoon. Time and money well spent. read more

Fantastic experience from start to finish with Patch roofing. I had 3-4 different vendors come bid our 1700 sq ft home and Patch Roofing came out on top in every category. Benjamin is a true professional- punctual, knowledgeable, and incredibly honest. Other vendors recommend items that Ben insisted we did not need nor should we pay extra for. His estimates on extra wood coverage were near spot on with no surprises. Crew was friendly, efficient, and had the whole thing done in a few days. Incredibly communicative and they do what they say. From a value standpoint, they were well below other vendors saving me thousands of dollars. Can't say enough great things about Patch Roofing! Look no further if you're looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and valuable roofing company. They are it! Thanks, guys! read more

**Update:** Benjamin contacted me directly and we had a productive conversation about the remaining issue with the City. We were able to come to a reasonable solution by agreeing to share the additional engineering cost, and I appreciate Benjamin's willingness to work with me to find a way forward. The project is now moving toward resolution. I will update this review again once the engineering, City requirements, and remaining work are fully completed. I appreciate the progress and hope everything will be finished smoothly from here. read more

We had a great experience with Patch Roofing and would definitely recommend them! Landerson came out for the initial inspection and was very friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. While inspecting the roof, he noticed our chimney cover was out of place and fixed it right then and there at no charge -- such a nice and unexpected surprise! The initially agreed scope of work was to replace one T-top roof vent and add rodent-proof mesh to a second one, along with some other roof maintenance and sealing and gutter cleaning. But on the day of the job, they surprised us by replacing both vents with new rodent-proof meshed ones, with no extra charge! They showed up right on time and did a solid, clean job throughout. What we especially appreciated was that Landerson came back afterward to personally inspect the completed work and make sure everything was done properly and that we were happy with the result. That kind of follow-up and customer care means a lot to us. Very happy with the whole experience -- trustworthy, professional, and great work. Highly recommended! read more

We hired Patch Roofing to lower our scupper drains on our flat roof and to do a roof tune-up, and had a great experience from start to finish. Benjamin was incredibly responsive and came out quickly for a quote, and his partner Roberto was just as easy to communicate with. Their crew was punctual, professional, and efficient throughout the project. They provided a competitive quote, stayed responsive the entire time, and everything went smoothly. I requested a quote for a roof maintenance project from patch roofing. The individual I worked with was very knowledgeable about roofs and some of the areas of my roof that needed to be addressed. I was provided with several pictures of the exterior of my roof (both via drone photography and phone pictures) and had all my questions answered about what the job scope would require. I would definitely consider working with this company again when it comes to replacing my roof in 5-7 years. read more

Before I mentioned that the workers had thrown roofing off the roof and marked up my house as well as moving without care through my landscape. I did not inform Patch Roofing at the time of these concerns. Upon reading my review they reached out to me to see if there was anything they could do or if they could reimburse me for any damages. I had not voiced my problems so they couldn't have addressed them at the time. They have now addressed them and so I must change my review. They seem to really care. read more

Patch Roofing was excellent from start to finish. Benjamin was great -- knowledgeable, transparent, and went above and beyond expectations throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered questions honestly, and made me feel confident that I was dealing with someone who really knew what he was doing. There was no pressure, no vague sales talk, and no runaround -- just straightforward advice and real professionalism. What stood out most was how thorough and responsive he was. He set clear expectations, followed through, and made the whole experience feel easy and well managed, which is not something you always get with contractors. It is rare to find someone who combines expertise with that level of honesty and care. I would absolutely recommend Patch Roofing, to anyone looking for a roofing company they can trust. read more

Needed my skylight holes blocked off that previous owner left open during installation which was allowing bees from a nearby hive to enter and Benjamin was very professional and courteous with his ideas to solve the problem. I contracted with his company to do the job, his guys were on time and finished in one day. They even had plenty of pics from the work area to show me what they did because of course I'm not going up there lol. Benjamin didn't object to any of the normal lien waivers I wanted signed around payment time and I was grateful for that. As for the work they did, so far so good, but if there are any issues in the future with the work they did, I will definitely adjust this review to reflect that. Thanks Patch Roofing! read more

We converted our tile roof to asphalt shingles and uncovered unknown challenges with our roof. (Our existing roof was 28 years old.) Patch Roofing communicated to us immediately with resolutions and they still finished one day early! The crew was always on time, respectful of our property and cleaned up at the end of the day. They replaced our skylights and facia boards, added vents and painted the facia boards and trim around our roof and chimney. We contacted Benjamin and Robert and they were very responsive to what questions and concerns we had. We received several quotes and Patch Roofing had the most thorough contract and the quality of service was excellent. I entered a request on Yelp for Southern CA area roof repair companies to assess and provide cost to repair or replace my roof after heavy rains and water intrusion. While several companies replied very rapidly, only Patch Roofing had a perfect 5.0 Score on Yelp after many completed projects. To have a perfect score by so many happy customers was assuring to me that work would be fairly and professionally done. The owner, Benjamin arrived on time for meeting to assess the roof work needed. He provide cost options and material samples of what would be used on the repair. He was clear and concise with all information after inspecting the entire roof. Once Patch was chosen, a date was scheduled with clear information as to duration of the project. The work crew arrived at scheduled time the first day and every day as scheduled until the job was completed. At all times they were hard working, professional, focused on their work. The work areas were kept neat and immaculate throughout the job, both the exterior and interior areas. From start to finish, the manager and owner was aware of work progress and kept in touch with me either by phone, text or in person. The entire job was competed on schedule with no confusion or surprises for entire job. CJ responded right away and was the first one to come out and look at my roof while it was raining. He's the only one that went into my attic to get more information. He then gave me several options. I told him I had 5 more people coming out to give me estimates and they all ranged wildly. I didn't know what to do so I went up on the roof myself and saw the crack. I had my son fix it and my handyman took a look and said it should be fine. When it didn't work I called CJ back and he was kind and helpful and never pressured me so I finally decided to pick his biggest estimate. This was after a month of me figuring this all out. They came out the next day and completed the work quickly. It rained over the next several days and the roof is perfect. I finally texted CJ a few days later and he sent Benjamin over so I could pay them. He was a pleasure to meet as well. These guys are great. You don't need a bunch of estimates. They have 5 stars for a reason. read more

I had a highly unusual request and Benjamin responded and completely satisfied my needs. I have an HOA that is known for doing subpar work. They just finished a roof repair. I took photos, and a highly knowledgable friend suggested the work was subpar. I wanted to establish, based on the photos, if I should investigate further. Benjamin was the only Yelp business to engage with me and discuss the photos I had taken. He clearly went over each photo and explained why the work was acceptable. I cannot express the great relief I felt after talking with him. I am going into a legal mediation and the roof leak is part of the agenda. I needed to be clear as to the worthiness of the repair. Benjamin didn't ask for any payment. He was generous with his expertise and his time. I have many severe water issues in my home and it is a godsend to know this was done properly. I am grateful. read more
