    Lumache Marsala chicken & mushrooms
    Destiny E.

Service was good. Vibes were good. It was terrible. It's a very cute little upscale place. However, it's fast casual at best. And the food does not taste good at all. We ordered garlic bread, which was so over done with fresh garlic and Parmesan. We also ordered the Alfredo mushroom chicken marsala. Both left flavor and were honestly some of the worst variations of these I've ever had. Even with a discount offer, I still would never, ever come here again. A true waste of $75. I will say, the service was great. We were pretty much the only ones there, so everything was quick and easy and the food came quickly. A can of Coke was five bucks. The best thing we had here was the chocolate mousse. Shortly before we left, a man came in and ordered wine. He sent two glasses back before he gave up. He said that the wine didn't taste right as if it had expired. Definitely not a good sign. I would love to get my money back if I could. This was so bad.

Great spot for pasta near MOMA! Not the best pasta in the world but it's conveniently located.

Such a tiny restaurant with a lot of seating and good flavorful dishes! I've gotten the same dish both times I've been here and am pleased each time. Everything is so yummy with a good service team. Another bonus and what drove me to this place is you can pay with InKind!

Went for lunch break on a Friday, made a reservation in advance. The space is a bit small but they used it efficiently. Towards the front you can place an order to go and the back area has tables if you want to dine in. Definitely recommend making a reservation if you plan on going during the busier hours! The dishes came out super fast which was convenient considering we were on limited time. Started off with a Margherita pizza as the starter. The ingredients were so fresh and the crust was the right amount of crispy. We each ordered our own individual pastas, which had a decent serving.. I wasn't able to finish mine so had to take the rest to go. The service was great and very attentive.

Couldn't say enough AMAZING things about this restaurant. We have good food in Louisiana, and this place knocks us out the park. We loved it so much we went twice in one week on our honeymoon in NYC!!!! PHENOMENAL. Exquisite!!!! Homemade pasta, pizza, made to order. You won't be disappointed!!!

Tried their garlic bread and margarita pizza.. garlic bread was too salty, and a little too much garlic.. the excess salt, garlic and grainy Parmesan cheese on top did not make for a good garlic bread.. margarita pizza was salty again, and a little too much oregano for my tastes (but that's just me).. crust was alright.. service was good

This place is convenient, but fairly average in terms of quality. Both pastas were a little too salty, there was nothing special about the lasagna other than the fact that it doesn't use ricotta. I enjoyed the signature pasta if it weren't too salty. They cooked the shrimp perfectly, but the burrata added nothing and wasn't creamy enough. I might go back for takeout only on the signature.

Delicious food. Had the caprese sandwich which was so fresh and yummy. Also had pasta Alfredo which was creamy and tasty. Garlic bread was very garlicky and we all really enjoyed it. Delicious bottles of olive oil on the table. Would highly recconen

**Note they serve water the European way-- it's not free, and they won't tell you that before you order. I was super excited to try Pasta Corner, but honestly it kind of gives college cafeteria pasta bar. The kitchen is open so you can see in while they're cooking-- definitely indicates that it's all fresh, but the product was not what I was expecting. I ordered their Pappardelle Pesto Burrata, which comes with prosciutto slices and a burrata on top. This dish is SO heavy and rich. The sauce was a creamy pesto sauce rather than the drier sauce I was expecting. This sauce on top of the prosciutto and the burrata just made for an extremely overwhelming dish that didn't have balance or anything to cut through the richness. The pasta itself was also not the best texture-- it didn't have the typical bounce of an al dente pasta. The chew was dead and it was definitely overcooked. The garlic bread was the bright spot! Tons of garlic included and the bread was nicely toasted.

Mimosa made with mango drink (og ordered a bellini but they ran out of peach puree)

Upon entry of the restaurant, there is a pastry and coffee bar and cute neon sign. The restaurant isn't wide but it is deep. Seating for the restaurant starts midway and stretches all the way back. This restaurant is fairly new, and I could tell by the way our waiter served us. When we asked for recommendations, the waiter didn't seem to know the menu too well and had to read off our menu. We decided to order a Bellini, hazelnut croissant, garlic bread, tagliolette black truffle, and tagliotelle frutti di mare. After we ordered, the waitress forgot about the bellini and hazelnut croissant so we had to remind them about it. Another waitress tended to us and let us know they ran out of peach puree so she offered to make a mimosa type drink with a mango juice. We ended up getting the garlic bread appetizer after a while, and we didn't get the croissant until after we were served both plates of pasta. We enjoyed the garlic bread (toasted baguette pieces with a pile of minced garlic and parmesan on top) and the croissant was surprisingly good! Fluffy, crunchy, with a yummy hazelnut filling. The black truffle pasta sauce was very good, but the pasta was not as al dente as I'd prefer it to be. Portion size was quite big, as other reviews have mentioned. I tried my partner's seafood pasta dish and we both agreed that the white wine sauce was very bland - he ended up finishing the rest of my pasta! Overall, this place was okay. Besides our initial waitress, the other waitress was very friendly and seemed to know what she was doing. I probably wouldn't come here again, but as the prices aren't bad for New York, this seems like an okay place to frequent if you're craving a decent portion of pasta for a reasonable price.

Cute little pasta corner. Love the decor and service. Super clean ambiance. A quick bite on 53rd street and cannot be missed for pasta lovers. We ordered rigata aribatta and caprese sandwich along with mimosa drink.

I have passed by Pasta Corner a few times and was interested in trying their ravioli to take home. They sell ravioli for $24 a pound and fresh pastas for $12 a pound. 3-5 minutes for the ravioli in boiling water. Not sure if the pasta was made the day before, but it was hard and dry, even after boiling for 5 minutes. Also not sure if me being congested had a factor in the lack of taste, but the ravioli was a bit disappointing. Maybe the pastas are better when you dine directly in the restaurant?

Was also thoughtful in handing us our orders correctly which was nice. For the food itself I heard good things and was hoping to love it more-- but I think I was slightly disappointed. The flavors aren't so bad overall and if you have a pasta itch it'll scratch. But I've tried other places better at a similar or even cheaper price point with protein added in. I got the "some like it hot" while my friend got "midnight desire" with burrata added in. I paid about 22 for each dish. Now for my thoughts - flavor for "some like it hot" was not bad, sauce was a slight bit watery for my liking. The spice was nice and I liked that part the most. Pasta was "OK". The ravioli was stuck together for some, filling was adequate but, I would've liked a little more. I don't want to sound harsh, but it was all around just an ok spot. Maybe it was just that day. Burrata added is nice, I took mine to go do sadly it was melted on top (recommend to pack the burrata separately for to go orders) - "midnight desire" is basically vodka and the flavor for this one was kind of odd for me. Not the normal vodka I am used to. I personally wouldn't really get it again. It wasn't a bad sauce, just not like vodka I know. Had a slight "bitter(?)" aftertaste from some seasoning I guess. I'm not a pasta connoisseur but I AM Italian and I've tasted a wide ranger of pastas lol-- I think yummy cheese pasta in Hell's Kitchen offers a similar concept, portion but is more filling, diverse options for adding and overall, slightly cheaper. Perhaps I'll give this place another try on another day..

I watched 3 separate groups of people leave while waiting for her, and she barely offered any updates on the wait time. After 15 minutes she asked us again how many people were in our group as if she had forgotten we were already waiting at the entrance. Once we were seated and looking at the menu, they brought us a single piece of cold bread. All the reviews about the undercooked pasta were true, I ordered the La Devozione (the tomato sauce spaghetti) and the pasta was almost crunchy because of how undercooked it was. The sauce was also incredibly greasy/oily, like the equivalent of an entire Costco pizza amount of neon orange oil. For $33, I am appalled at the quality of this dish. When our waiter brought the check, he hovered over our shoulders and watched as we entered the amount we tipped. He wasn't happy with what he saw and just rudely tossed the card back onto the table at us. For a place that advertises itself as high quality Italian, it's actually just sickening.
