It's been a year since my last review nevertheless consistently good pizza. I really enjoyed the fresh topping and crust. Service: Absolutely amazing service... every time!!! The owner/manager always makes it a point to visit and welcome you. Ambiance: The wall art is cool even the quotes in the booths. Not as polished as your franchised establishments however a cozy comfortable place.

Combo basket (4/5): This is a platter of a few of their appetizers including the fried cheese sticks, fried mushrooms, fried zuccini, and the fried broccoli cheese puffs. The batter was crispy on each appetizer. I enjoyed the cheese sticks and fried mushrooms and they went well with the marinara sauce. The broccoli cheese puffs were just ok to me, somewhat similar to the Green Giant frozen cheese/broccoli although the batter was just as enjoyable. Solid sharable appetizer. House special pizza (4/5): This is their special pizza with a good mix of meat/vegetable toppings. The crust itself is interesting. It kind of reminds me of a thin pretzel dough, with a slightly chewier texture. They are generous with the toppings, and I particularly enjoyed the sausage which had a slight sweetness to it. At about $12 for the appetizer and $26 for the large pizza, I felt the prices were fair and the service was attentive. I would come back again in the future.

After a long, stormy Friday evening, my family and I decided to celebrate a graduation with dinner…read moreat Carrabba's on Washington Road in Augusta. We arrived around 9 PM, and despite the weather, there were still a few larger parties dining, though the restaurant was far from crowded. Right from the start, the hospitality stood out. The hostess graciously welcomed us and offered complimentary wine samples while we waited. My husband sampled a white wine while I tried a red. Neither was particularly memorable, but the gesture was appreciated and set a welcoming tone for the evening. Of course, we couldn't resist ordering our favorite cocktail, the Prickly Pear Margarita. As always, it was absolutely delicious. If you've never tried one, do yourself a favor and order it. It's one of the best specialty margaritas around. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the meal. For dinner, I kept it light with an entrée Caesar salad, my husband ordered the Chicken Marsala, and our son chose the Shrimp and Scallop Linguine Alla Vodka. Every dish was prepared well, flavorful, and exactly what we've come to expect from Carrabba's over the years. While the food was very good, the service was truly exceptional. I've always received solid service at Carrabba's, but this visit was on another level. Every interaction felt genuine, attentive, and customer focused without ever being intrusive. With so many dining options along Washington Road, choosing where to eat can be a challenge. If you're looking for consistently good food, excellent cocktails, and service that goes above and beyond, this Carrabba's should be at the top of your list.

Back tonight for Carrabbas' November Bourbon Dinner event. The five course/four drink soirée was…read morevery well attended and reservations were difficult to obtain. First Course: Creamy Potato Parmesan soup was the only course unaccompanied by a drink. It arrived in a tiny teacup that was really cute but without a spoon we were encouraged to sip the thick broth. It's fortunate the soup was so tasty. Second Course: Grilled Wings with Fig Bourbon Sour. My drink arrived first and was quick to disappear. I love Elijah Craig bourbon and combined with the housemade syrup and fig sour mix, it was outstanding. The grilled wings were delicious and the Calabrian chili baste gave them just enough spice. Third Course: Rigatoni with Rosemary Cream and Sausage with Brothers Bond Straight Bourbon. The bourbon was smooth, slightly spicy and sippable. The pasta sauce was bland Fourth Course: Delmonico Steak with Gorgonzola Walnut Butter paired with Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey. Uncle Nearest is a smooth sip with a clean finish. The Delmonico steak was huge and a perfect (for me) medium rare. The creamed spinach was a sleeper and nearly stole the show. Fifth Course: Cookies and Cream Brûlée with a Chocolate Chip Old Fashioned. The creme brûlée disappeared like a whisper. It was mildly sweet And the perfect accompaniment to the meal. This grouping of small batch bourbons and Italian flavors were excellent and highly recommended.

As we approached we saw the help wanted sign in the window and my wife said be prepared for slow service. Several tables were empty and we were told to sit anywhere. Shortly afterwards I noticed that there was a line out the door for pickup. They do a good take out business. We ordered stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and they were just ok. Somehow I expected more than just mozzarella stuffed mushrooms. No real thought went into the dish. We also ordered a chef's salad and that exceeded our expectations for both presentation and quality. One small thing. I have a pet peeve about the entrees coming to the table while we are still working on the appetizer and that's what happened here. Our server, Taylor, did apologize and said that the mushroom appetizer takes longer to cook than most other appetizers and so our food was ready at the same time. Minus one star. I ordered the Greek pizza and holy cow was it good. I'm going to try to attach a picture. Truth is that I'm still eating it two days later. I could only eat two slices and I took most of the 14" pizza home. It's very heavy! And delicious. Would I go back again? Soon I hope.
