I'm always a little nervous trying a new restaurant. We made a reservation for 7pm on a Saturday. The reviews made me nervous about slower service, but we didn't face that issue at all. Oliviana's surpassed my expectations. Dimly lit with a Jazz band playing some nice tunes, the vibe was set for a perfect girls night. I started out with a mocktail that was refreshing and not overly sweet. I ordered the crab cake as my app and for my meal I went with the Filet. The crab cake was full of flavor and I wanted to savor every bite. The Filet- just WOW!! Easily one of the best filets I've had recently. Truly sooo good. The sides meshed perfectly and really brought the meal together. I was so full but I had to order a cheesecake to go. After enjoying it back at the hotel I can confirm it was also delicious. Our waitress was Mya and she was beyond sweet and attentive. Thank you for keeping us laughing and being a breath of fresh air. Overall I believe this place is a Gem, and if I'm ever back in the area I will be returning. read more

We were in town this past weekend for the Augusta National Woman's Amateur and needed something to refuel after walking 7+ miles! When we got there we were told it would be around an hour wait but we could be seated immediately if we didn't mind sitting outside. It was a gorgeous night so we choose outside! Service was great and food was delish! Our table ordered Shrimp Scampi, Rigatoni Alla Vodka, Truffle Chicken Pasta, and a kids Alfredo! We also all had a side caesar salad. Everything was so good! Our family always comes here for special events, and I've given them outstanding reviews before, but today, Father's Day, was definitely the exception to our experience thus far --- and the first time it's rated less than five stars. Don't get me wrong, the food was mostly outstanding, as usual, but there was a HUGE lapse in service that never should have been allowed to happen. As explained by our server, a very large party with reservations for 11am came, instead, at 12 noon, throwing the entire pace of the restaurant off. As an example, we had to wait over an hour for our entree to be served while, evidently, the other, apparently entitled, group got the kitchen in an uproar so they could be served. For the first time, we actually heard the kitchen staff calling to each other, something that should never be heard that clearly by guests. Our server, Mary, was absolutely wonderful, and did her utmost best to add great customer service to what was, obviously, a stressful situation entirely out of her control. Her attentiveness was what kept this from being a bad experience. When we asked to speak to a manager, the lady that came to our table and introduced herself as one of the Assistant General Managers did not present the appearance one would expect of a FOH Manager. While she acknowledged the issues, she made no effort whatsoever to even comp a dessert, which would've been the absolute least she could've done. We will most certainly return to Oliviana's and, hopefully, they will learn from this experience and not leave guests who DID arrive on time "hanging out", waiting for their food! In fact, the restaurant's stated policies are that no-shows at their given reservation time will have those reservations cancelled. read more

We came here for a birthday dinner and really had a wonderful evening! The only slight negative was the layout, with tables around the bar, which led to a pretty noisy atmosphere, making it hard to hear with our table of three around a larger booth. Everything else was great! Our server, Avery, was phenomenal, and she was so attentive and kind. The staff made sure my mother-in-law felt celebrated and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the dough balls, mozzarella sticks, and arancini for appetizers, and they were unique and tasty. For entrees, the lasagna and carbonara were very good. The carbonara was a little different than a traditional carbonara, but it was delicious. The cannoli was also very good. I'd highly recommend this restaurant, devising for a special event. read more

Second time to eat there. Both times I started with the Greek salad. Both times wonderful, the ingredients were top quality, the dressing was fantastic, and the portion size was large. The bread they serve is definitely store bought, not that good crusty Italian bread at all. I had the shrimp scampi which tasted fine, my husband had the lasagna, which he said, seemed more like manicotti. But again tasted fine. Now for dessert, never order the tiramisu. I can't even imagine making it the way they did. The ladyfingers were dry, absolutely no coffee whatsoever they make it with caramel?? So good that I visited twice in the same week, lunch and dinner, and both times were honestly fantastic. The atmosphere was a vibe, staff is warm, attentive, and quick to get you seated. I even had the same waitress both times: young, slim, blonde, full of energy, and on top of everything. Drinks came out fast, and she was ready with appetizer suggestions before we even got settled. Now the food... whew. I tried the truffle bread bites and the mozzarella sticks, and both were absolute winners. The mozzarella sticks came out fresh, crispy, gooey, and gave that epic cheese pull you only see on commercials. The truffle bread bites were rich, flavorful, and had the perfect texture. Both are an easy 10/10. For dinner, I had the Chicken Piccata: cooked beautifully and bursting with flavor. No bland moments, no question marks, just a well-executed dish all around. For lunch, I went for the Margherita pizza. Fresh, bright flavor, herbs popping, crust crisp and seasoned well. The only downside? They don't serve the bread bites at lunch, which honestly feels like a personal loss. Overall, both visits were consistent, delicious, and worth every penny. Solid 10/10 experience. read more

Food: We ordered the chicken parm on a bed of spaghetti which was served hot and tasty however way too much cheese (never thought that was possible)... The chicken Marsala was perfect, flavorful, tender chicken and served hot also, we had a shrimp Caesar salad that we really enjoyed. Oh, let's not forget the Manhattan I got from the bar. Service: Our server was great, just was on 5 hour energy or caffeine... something. Seriously, he was attentive, friendly and very patient as we took sometime to decide what to eat. Ambiance: The decor is ok, nothing that would raise eyebrows however intimate. I like how the dining room is physically separated from full bar. On last Friday, 22 of us in our marriage group celebrated the holidays at Olivianna's in their private dining room. It was a perfect setup; laidback but yet a tinge of intimacy. The district manager was helping me over 2 weeks with dinner arrangements and communication was very professional. Our waitress for the evening did not miss a beat despite the fact that she was serving 22. To my knowledge everyone enjoyed their food. I have not dined here for dinner since they closed for renovations. I could tell that they must have hired a new chef or just brought new ideas to the table because they moved up several stars in food taste and presentation. All you could hear were oooh and awww as the food started coming out. Beautiful!! I had the pan seared salmon with roasted delicious carrots and switched out my rice for broccolini. I am a sucker for a Caprese salad and it didn't disappoint. My husband's steak was perfect and we also enjoyed the side of meatballs with ricotta cheese. We were craving some good Italian food and decided to try Olivianas on a Friday evening. We called and made a reservation for 3. When we arrived we were given the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The weather was nice and cool so we opted to be outside. Our waitress was wonderful and gave us great recommendations. We started with drinks and calamari. Then we ordered our main courses. We got a margarita pizza and chicken piccatta. The chicken piccatta flavors seemed to be unbalanced, the lemon flavor was overpowering. The noodles were good and chicken was moist, but we just couldn't get over the strong lemon taste. The margarita pizza was ok. The mozzarella was very thick and it needed more basil. It wasn't the best we've had, but also not the worst. We like 2 or the 3 drinks that were ordered. The rosemary grapefruit refresher and Kentucky Waterfall were winners! I had a lunch meeting with someone new to the area whom I had never met. I suggested Oliviana's and I was not disappointed. The service was spectacular and the food even better. My guest was blown away and her thank you note described our meal as beautiful and delicious, which it was. I ordered some of my lunch favorites for us to split. Greek salad (easily big enough for 2) the Greek pizza (never too much Greek) and the meatball appetizer. We had plenty to eat and even had leftovers that were beautifully packed in a to-go box. I walked in and sat at the bar. It was very cold in there. I looked around and over half the people had coats on. Key thing is freezing while trying to eat is no bueno. I was recommended by a friend to have the pizza. It was good but so salty it burnt my tongue. I flipped it over and the crust was loaded with large salt crystals that I had to scrape off. I had the margarita pizza. It did taste good sans the salt bath. Bartender was super nice helpful and very prompt. Another key downer is staff whining at the bar while doing tickets. The guy in the picture called his guest "stupid". And said "these lazy people can just one bill and cash app each other." Yeah no to him. If I do ever sit down he will NOT be my waiter. read more
