I love this salon! I've been going here since I had fingernails! They would always do the cutest little designs for me when I was a little girl. I'm almost 20 now and I still go back. Their gel lasts me about 2-3 weeks and their dip and tips have never broken for me! I've gone to other salons over the years and it's never the same quality as when I come back home to Passion. We love the ladies that work there too, they always ask me about my mom and dad and what I'm up to these days. The only thing I will say is that they don't really seem to be able to do designs on my nails, but here are some of my nails from here over the years! read more

Worst nail salon experience ever. How does this place have 4 stars? My girl had to "fix" my nails 3 times -- at first I thought it was her fault, but I think the horrible quality of products at this place is really to blame. I had stained BLUE all over my fingers, but even worse was the white specks that wouldn't go away from my navy nails. Oh yeah I have several cuts from this experience as well. THE PLACE IS SO MESSY. She had to switch polish bottles for my NexGen several times bc the place is just cluttered with old, dried out disgusting bottles. Take a look at my pictures and see for yourself. I will never come here again. I'm surprised a place like this in Preston Hollow lasts. I just recently started working in the area and it's too bad for them -- I spend about $1000 a year on nails and I tip really well. So disappointed. Disappoint is the only word that comes to mind when I think of Passion Nail & Spa. Didn't listen to my request. Made me wait 2 hour before I got sat. Cut my nails way too short, smudges on my nails, glitter in a Matt coat. I've given this place my business for far too long. Never again. read more

It has been less than a week since I got my gel manicure done at this place and I am very disappointed by the result. They told me that if I pay $10 more for gel manicure, it would last a month. I had gel done before and it usually lasts me close to 3 weeks. So I did not expect it to last a month, however It has been only 5 days and 3 of my nails are completely peeled off and rest are peeling off as well. Very disappointed. My mom got regular manicure and it got chipped right in the middle of a nail that same evening. How does that even happen? She went back the next day and they did that one nail over again with unpleasant attitude as if she was bothering them. They have a very poor ventilation system as well. read more

I have been here several times and never really felt unhappy until now. I went for a pedicure, I selected my treatment so I can wear sandals on vacation. Okay, so I am a dude and not one to get manicures, but I do take the wife to get hers done on occasion. While in Texas for a formal event, the wife was in need of a manicure and needed it to look excellent! Passion Nails & Spa delivered this and more. The nail technician was very kind and skilled at her craft. The palette of available colors was excellent and the manicurist was a true professional and an artist with a nail brush. My wife's nails came out beautiful. Having had some horrible experiences at other nail salons in different cities in the US, this was a refreshing experience for her and she was glowing with pride at the end result! Much appreciation to Passion Nails and Spa for the fine work! It was a refreshing experience and her only complaint is that they are in a different state from where we live. read more

Dishonest and misleading! I am looking for a new nail salon so I called to get their pricing and told them exactly what I wanted, pink and white dip. He said $40 and extra $5 if you need tips. I asked for an explanation to make sure I understood. He repeated it and clarified tips means fake nails, not your nails. Ok great! I go in and it is $45 for a punk and white and an additional $5 to take off your previous dip. The girl said she heard him talking to me on phone and he was wrong. He did ask a female 2 times what the price was. So I went in for a $40 nail service as told to me on phone and they wanted to charge me $50. I walked out! read more

This is an amazing place because when I drove an 18-wheeler over the road for over four years, I had to use many nail shops NATIONWIDE. I Never found the same quality and satisfaction that I have found at this shop. I am now living closer to the shop than ever, but even when I lived 25 miles away, I chose to always return to Passion Nails. I came in for a gel-polish change and a pedicure. When I sat in the chair, it was broken and I couldn't scoot it back, or lean back, so my toes had to curl just to fit in the bowl and I was uncomfortable. The paint job in my toes was okay, but I paid extra for the deluxe with longer massage, which consisted of continuously rubbing lotion on my legs without applying any pressure at all. Although all I wanted was a polish change, I was charged for a manicure, which I guess was when she rubbed oil on my arms; again no pressure, for less than 2 minutes. I came in with square shaped natural nails, and left with rounded, uneven nails. I was never asked what shape I wanted. I've been going here for maybe 10 years. They have several employees that have been there that long. That's one thing that impressed me. They don't have a lot of turnover. Tammy is amazing and they do accept walk-ins. If you call and grab appt, you will be done prior to walk ins. All the employees are very nice. My girls have grown up going there. They always ask about them. They do amazing nail art and even have painted my girls nails 10 different colors! Hot stone, paraffin, eyebrows, massages w treatments. They have it all. read more

Ask for Lily... I got lucky and got her my first time coming here for Nextgen (powder dip) nails and I was shocked she took so much time. I get my acrylics done here because they are the best price that I have found in Dallas ($25). My experiences have all ranged from average to excellent, depending on who does them. There is one man who works there occasionally who is amazing- I need to get his name next time! They have a pretty large range of color selection, which is always nice. The salon itself is pretty big and kept clean. The staff are also all very friendly and it is usually never too over-crowded either. I will definitely keep returning! read more

The worst experience ever. I went in for French manicure. Within 3 days the white tips started pealing off. Also there was still silver that was on my fingers left that they didn't get off before applying French manicure. When I went in to show them my nails, the manager started arguing with me in front of the customer she was working on and even brought her into our conversation putting the customer in the awkward position of trying to convince me she had done a good job on my nails. So rude and extremely unprofessional. The manager finally but reluctantly said she would fix my nails but would not look me in my eyes. I will not be back and will make sure to spread the word to all my customers, friends and family not to go to this salon. It is amazing that there are so many good reviews. Maybe they take better care of regulars but not new customers or walk-ins. read more

The owner has done my solar nails for many years. I trusted that she knew what she was talking about when she told me the white spot on my own nail was not FUNGUS, but was my nail "lifting" because I picked at the corner! BEWARE, IF YOU WEAR ANY TYPE OF ACRYLIC NAILS. IF YOUR NAIL IS LIFTING OR HAS A WHITE SPOT ON IT, IT IS FUNGUS!!! It was not until I noticed a similar problem on 2 other nails that I decided to go to another salon and have the solar nails soaked off. So glad I did. My nails look awful, but have started treatment and just hope they will look normal again. I am telling my friends that go to her about this so they will beware! If you are going for a "fill", you don't get a full view of your own nail so it is unclear the magnitude of the problem.
