A great addition to the Paso Robles brewery options. This location offers plenty of space, cold beer, and tempting options for dining. I enjoyed a three of their beers offered via their custom tap system. Guests are offered a little bit of everything for quenching their appetite or thirst. The Pig Wings were a great choice. The rib tips were smoked perfectly with a tasty layer of their house rub, and the accompanying raspberry chipotle sauce made me want more. The staff were very attentive to the guests and provided prompt service. There are plenty of seating choices for outdoor or indoor dining as well. Whether out and about by yourself or meeting a group, I suggest you visit this welcoming location. read more

My mom and I stopped in to this beautiful establishment the other day. We we're staying at an airbnb conveniently nearby. I ordered the West Coast IPA and the nakey wings. The beer was so crisp and delicious. The wings, omg loved them. Super crispy and delicious as well. My mom ordered the piña colada seltzer and the filet mignon bites. The meat was so tender! The staff were also very friendly and attentive! We loved our food and drinks there and I've already told my beer drinking friends all about it. Will definitely stop by here again on my next trip back to Paso! read more

Very dog friendly place! It was cold outside and not very busy so they offered to let us eat inside with our dog. They seemed genuinely happy she was there. The atmosphere was very friendly. Seemed like the bar tender/waiter was on a first name basis with everyone. The inside is very nice with large metal chandeliers, wooden arches and a big screen playing old music videos. Everything was very clean. We got a seltzer, two beers, a chicken sandwich and the Thursday special meatloaf. Everything was VERY good. The kitchen was accommodating of a few dietary restrictions. We would definitely go here again. read more

New craft brewery in the Paso Robles wine country. Beautiful building, very friendly owner and staff. Dog friendly inside and outside. Our beer tender Justin was super fun and engaging. Their sit where you want and we will find you attitude is a perfect relief from the fussy wine tasting vibe. Highly recommend checking out this local gem for food, beer, seltzer, music and football (night games only right now). read more

Top notch beer--every style is perfect. Czech Pilsner in legit tankova is hard to beat, but the Red Lager gives it a run for the money. What a gem. (and omfg the fries--and cheese curds--and everything else) read more

We came here for lunch & enjoyed the friendly casual atmosphere & the great food & drinks. All the great pop, & rock they had playing was wonderful. My uncle & I each had a great pilsner & marzen; perfectly smooth & full bodied & the marzen equally like the other with smooth malrty nutty flavor. Our waitress was attentive. My uncle & I had the fish sandwich; perfectly baddered fish with a crispy thin exterior & moist interior with coleslaw & garlic aioli. I had mine with a side of hush puppies which were crispy on the outside & had a wonderfully moist filling of crew fish filling. The dipping sauce for them was also wonderful. So, for wonderful food & brews in a casual friendly atmosphere, Paso Robles Brewing cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys. read more

Thought we'd try this place after someone recommended it and it was a good experience! We tried the pretzel starter and it was awesome. Big, salty and tasty w/ great cheese sauce! We tried the seltzer and blonde ale first-both very tasty. The Blond ale was to my liking because of its light hop taste. I also tried the nut brown ale and it was malty nutty awesome. Foodwise, it's a good menu full of favorites. We got chef salads with carnitas and BLT. Bacon was thick and tasty. All good choices. The inside decor is tap house with some beefy chandeliers! Server was a cool local and we talked about Lake Nacimiento and other stuff. I will be back for the beer and get some tasty food if I'm hungry. read more

Food was excellent. Came here for drinks and apps, love this place. We have always had the best time here. Unfortunately not this visit, our server Madison was very rude and unpleasant. We ordered cheese curds and pork wings and never got our wings. When we brought it up, she walked away and went to bring them to us. No apologies or anything. We were treated so poorly. Never asked us how we were doing or how the food was tasting. Just overall impolite. If you're gonna be in food service make sure you have a positive attitude and not walk around like you're doing a chore. I mean yikes, I hate to be that person but no tip was earned. Just terrible demeanor. Never again. read more

We went for Bingo last night and it was so much fun! Great spot! perfect for large groups, family friendly, and the service was great! However, I don't think they should allow their severs or food expos have a live snake wrapped around their neck while serving food, let alone dogs inside the restaurant with hair going everywhere. It's disgusting and makes your dining experience uncomfortable. I'm really surprised the health department allows that. read more

Decent beer. Hazy IPA good. No funky fun names to their beers. It's Monday at 5pm and no one in here. Except an older couple and a mom/dad and baby. Very kool looking place inside. But when I saw the menu and that they charge 3.9% for a credit card "convenience fee" I said nope never coming back. That's just a stupid thing to charge. I have been to lots and lots and lots of breweries west of the Mississippi and have never been to one that charged something like this. I honestly hardly ever have cash. Most folks are the same these days. Go to Europe and it's all cards. Concerts/sporting events are all card. Social events are all card only. The world is trying to get away from using cash read more

Solid 3.5 stars for beer, extra points for message on their website that all pets and children need to be on a leash. I moved to Paso Robles a little less than a year ago. After today's experience I wish I supported them more. I'll be back more often for sure! I came in today to try the St. Patrick's Day special. I was greeted by a smile and a wave right after I walked in. The female beertender (I forgot to get her name) is so incredibly good at what she does. So incredibly positive and constantly interacting with everyone in the room. The beer was fantastic and the Corned Beef sandwich & fries were on point. I even rolled a 7 and got to spin the prize wheel! I can't thank you guys enough. Keep it up! read more

Maybe we were just hungry, but we were blown away by the food. Philly cheesesteak was on point (recommended by server). Very classic Chicago roll with really well mixed in cheese in some meaty meats, peppers, and onions. I've had very few truly good Phillies and this is with them. The 'Cuban' burger was an American BBQ twist on the concept. It gave me a double taste (double take for food.) Extra thick smoked pork belly on top of a huge pile of pulled pork with carnitas seasoning and a sour pickle - wow. I'm a huge fan of Cuban sandwiches but this was better and very unique. We ended up getting hush puppies and cheese curds as our sides. Curds we're solid, and the hush puppies were exemplary (great flavor and great texture - not a bunch of dry corn meal like some recipes.) highly recommend the hush puppies. The blonde and the lager were very good. The lager ended up with a good breast smell and aftertaste. West coats IPA was good but not great. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were on the high side, but I'm used to Ohio pricing so I can't judge exactly where it fits in with the local economy. read more

Brand new. The owners, a group of winery owners got together and spared no expense to make this place an excellent choice for beer and food. The beers are served in a system I've never seen before. My group of 4 showed up around 7 on Friday and were greeted at our table not with a hello but with "the kitchen is closed, you can only order beer." (Yet they still handed us food menus). The only time our server offered us water was when she had poured one extra for another table and left the extra at our table before walking away. We were explicitly told by our waitress while ordering a 2nd round and closing out our tab that they close at 9 but we were welcome to stay past to finish what we ordered. By 9 every chair had been put up on the tables and some of the staff was rushing us and 10+ people sitting at the bar out. As we were leaving I tried speaking with a staff member privately to voice my concerns about the service. The conversation was interrupted and shut down by the employee with blue hair, who rudely reminded me they closed at 9. It was aggressively clear that we were not welcome. TLDR- You have dozens of choices for a beer in paso and I think you should choose somewhere else. read more

Love the vibe here. They were playing James Brown at the perfect level where I can groove and talk to people without shouting. I ordered the Wagyu Burger with avocado and bacon and my mom got the Philly Cheesesteak. Both were delicious!!! Only thing I'd point out is that the burger should have been medium rare and it was medium well BUT I didn't ask and it wasn't specified what would be done. So no fault at anyone but me. The bacon was crispy and soft and crunchy... I bet their BLT is bomb! Probably the best bacon I've ever had on a burger. Definitely will be returning, only recommendation is that you have n/a beers for us sober folk. read more

Just tried the newly opened Paso Robles Brewing. Loved it! Here's why: - Great beer! We got the Red IPA, Brown Ale & Double IPA, and really enjoyed all three. - Friendly bartenders that offer you stickers - The menu looks amazing, but we'll have to come back and try that when we're REALLY hungry. - Fried peanuts (that you eat with the shell) - Really comfy bar stools (not those dumb metal ones that no one's butt actually fits on) - Purse hooks under the bar (This might seem like a small thing, but they're really helpful!) - 21 & over lounge (Since they serve food, kids are allowed, so this is a great option to have if you're not a fan of little yippers running around your table while you're enjoying your beer) - Ambiance & decor of an old world beer hall with vaulted ceilings and detailed woodwork - Fun music that was loud enough to provide a lively atmosphere, but not too loud to get in the way of having a conversation - with accompanying videos on a large screen Great start, Paso Robles Brewing! We'll be back for more! read more

We hopped into this brewery as we passed by it on our way to our motel. Service was quick and personable. We tried the burger with fries and the Philly cheese steak with cheese curds. All the food was delicious. Hubby had 2 beers (IPA & Pilsner which he didn't care for) and I enjoyed a delicious Heff. Would revisit this place. Fun outdoor area too. read more

Great service! Our server was friendly and attentive! Philly cheese steak was great! The Cubano had quite a bit of pork. It was good but quite pork heavy (and I like pork!). Curds have a deep fried breading. Try the tomatillo ranch! Lager is great on a hot day. 4 stars because they did not have high chairs, boosters, or diaper changing stations in the restrooms. read more

Food was good. Service not so. Received incorrect meal. Returned it and received 3 out of 4 meals. Over an hour and no chicken strips nor communication that our strips were to be delayed. Notified server. She blamed cooks and said strips were coming. Not true. Checked out and told we were comped the missing strips never received and no apology. Went and found Mgr. Apologized, said food on way. Waited another 15 or 20 minutes. Food finally arrived. After getting home found a gift certificate. Never told it was in there. Thank goodness we didn't throw the extremely delayed meal away. Hope they improve. read more

AMAZING, a large group of us come to Paso 3 to 4 times a year for anywhere from two weeks to a month. Today it was a day to go to lunch at Paso Brewing. First off I would like to say that Justin that was serving us was above and beyond!!!! He alone was by far the best server we have experienced in along time so thank you so much Justin. The food was superb. We are definitely GOING BACK!!! If I was the owner I would consider a raise for Justin ASAP!!!! Five stars all the way!!! read more

When I posted about my bad experience at this brewery on social media, others let me know that I wasn't the only one who was treated badly by the owner. They complained and were met with rudeness and disrespect from him. All I did was ask for my waiter after waiting 15 minutes to be acknowledged. I did not make any snide remarks, did not say anything bad about the place, I just asked for my waitperson. I was met with the same disrespect and told to go elsewhere! I owned my own restaurant when I was younger and would never have responded to a customer like that. He doesn't respond well to bad reviews, either. Apparently it's always the customer's fault when things go wrong. read more

Paso Robles Brewing - Owner's response to a review on Google - Brewpubs Near Me - Paso Robles, California

We came here a few months ago with our kid and it was a good experience. We liked the food a lot and the beers were tasty and, important to me, very true to style. Hard to find that these days. We came back in this visit with my in-laws. The beer was similarly good but from there, the rest of the experience was very mediocre. We ordered the filet mignon bites for the table. While it was very tasty, at $22 it's expensive for not very much food. Also, the service was pretty slow. As a result, we ordered extra beers (adding to the cost). The main courses arrived somewhat later. My in-laws loved their fried tacos, but admittedly, it looked like a somewhat small plate. My wife and I split the special Reuben. the quality of the meat on the sandwich was good, but this sandwich could barely be called a reuben. It needed some kind of acid like sauerkraut or maybe some extra mustard. If it had any, you really couldn't taste it. The fries were fried well, but looked like they were from a bag of Ore-Ida. Pretty disappointing for the special. The kicker for me, and why this is a 2-star review is when the check came. They do the payment processing with a hand-held device at the table. That's convenient and all, but the lowest tip you are presented with is 20%, with other options above that. It's not clear if there is any way to select a smaller tip, and even if you wanted to, you're doing that with the server holding the device in front of you. I mean, this is tip mania. I would say the meal wasn't deserving of 20% tip. The server didn't check on us often, but what else was I supposed to do? This is a pretty egregious example of the tip greed affecting some places. Add the credit card processing fee and the modest lunch (with a few extra drinks) was $188. If I were back in town looking for beer and lunch, I'm likely looking elsewhere next time. I might be back at some point, but bringing cash. read more

Great place to hangout and have a beer and food. I like the food and beer options. Wish perhaps more beer options but enjoy it nonetheless. When I went we had the wings 3 out of 5, chicken strips 5 out of 5, fries 4 out of 5, and cheese curds 5 out of 5. Only knock would be the service could've been a bit better, felt it was slow when there wasn't many people even wanting to order food, but will be back forsure. read more

So, I ordered some food online last night from Paso Robles Brewing Company. My wife and I didn't think anything of it. We just went online and ordered our food for pickup. It gave us a time, and I pulled up and walked in. If you haven't been there you should go it's a very pretty restaurant. I walked up to the bartender and asked about my order. She was quite polite and said she'd be right back. She picked up the phone and called someone and said, "he's here." What I didn't know is we were there first online order. It was an honor to be the first! Now, how was the food? Excellent! I got the Cubano sandwich and fries. My wife got the wagyu burger with fries. And both of us kept going on and on making happy noises as we enjoyed our dinner. We could not have asked for a better meal for my wife's birthday! Thank you! read more
