I went here on a Sunday with a group of my girlfriends. The employees were knowledgeable about the drinks and provided exceptional service. I got a flight of light beers and our table got a variety of food including brunch and lunch food. I didn't not order brunch but my friends said the lox bagel and croissant breakfast sandwich was delicious. The lox bagel had a healthy portion of salmon on top as well as other ingredients. The pizzas are made in an outside pizza oven and delivered hot and fresh to the table. I absolutely recommend their pretzels as they have some different flavors and now I will be dreaming about them. They have a large outdoor area and what appeared to be a stage so I assume they have shows once in awhile. Next time I'm in town I will absolutely be going here! read more

My family and stopped here on vacation excited to try a local brewery as lovers of craft beer. We chose to come here because they claimed to be "dog friendly" and had good reviews. Our dog barked LITERALLY 3 times, and we were told by an employee, "You need to make your dog stop barking, or you'll need to put it in the car." Needless to say, we finished our drinks, closed our tab, and will never be back. Also, they don't even brew their own beer, which was pretty disappointing. read more

Beer and food are fantastic. This local micro brew is one to stop at. The husband and wife duo or cranking out pizzas on their wood fired pizza ove out back. They always have a a great selection of beer and the pizza's are on point. They have weekly events, trivia and music so check their socials. I'm not a regular but feel right at home when I visit. read more

Solid 3.5 rating. Easy parking. Neat little spot. Asked for a to go 16 ounce beer of all the IPA on tap and it took a long time to put it together. I was a bit surprised they didnt have them in a cooler. The person working on our order kept helping others even though there was a second beertender. The product? Decent beers. Good flavors. Nice bodies. Will we be back next trip? Sure. But i will likely order ahead if we are getting roadies! read more

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Large selection of beer on tap, obviously. I was in the mood for something on the lighter side, so I went with the Strawberry Blonde. Very nice! Went with the Veggie-Veggie pizza (red sauce, mozzarella, spinach, artichoke, onion, mushroom, and bell pepper.) Pizzas are one size only. About 10". This wood-fired pizza is outstanding! Taco Tuesday is just okay. I prefer more on my street tacos other than just protein, cilantro, and salsa. The beef version was very tasty, though. read more

Brew the Right Thing Locally-owned and operated brewery that's been serving up suds to Grover Beach since 2012. The Good: *Plenty of parking in free shared lot *Legit wood-fired brick pizza oven produced some nicely cooked pies. *Love their dog-friendly outdoor patio, which is a must in SLO County. *Great value for their "Pizza & a Pint Combo" for $20 The Meh: *Bartender was slightly surly for whatever reason. I'm not sure if it's because we weren't regulars or he's just normally a grouchy puss? The Ugly: *The Breezlejuice IPA was skunked and tasted really flat and just not good. I would've probably said something to them, but señor grumpus made me think twice. Conclusion: I'm gonna assume the beer was just a one-time snafu because I can't imagine anyone would drink that swill. With that aside, everything else was great, from the pie to the ambiance to the value. Recommended. read more

Man rock brewery is a gem! Me my fiancé and pup had a great time they have a dog friendly patio outback with plenty of seating. we devoured our homemade pizza that we got to watch them cook in the back, which was some of the best pizza we've had in a long time. One of the owners even came to greet our pup and give him a little treat. they had a wide variety of beer that was cold and right off the tap the whole vibe was chill and they had sports on the TV, and sometimes they have live music I was too eager to eat to take a pic, let's just say it tasted as good as it looked! We have been here multiple times and we're very satisfied. We'll be back again and again and again. read more

I hadn't been to Manrock for a couple of years but after coming back I was thoroughly disappointed with the pizza. It used to be much better; I have a feeling they switched to frozen dough over freshly made and tossed dough. Tasted like a frozen pizza. But the patio is nice for our dog and I've always enjoyed their beers. read more

So very nice & friendly run & work here. The place have a brewery - industrial look - not uncommon with small brewing locations - but it is very clean. Not a big place but the pizza is great. I got a wood fired meat lovers pizza. The sause was perfect - nice full tomato flavors melded with Italian spices - give it a hint of zing but very full rich flavors - lovely and tasty - usally I use red pepper flakes to bump up the flavor of pizza - but this pizza does not need it. It is not " hot " aka picante - but it is bursting full of flavor- so up next is the brew. They specialize in various styles of IPA. I had a "Beach Town"- West Coast IPA 7%. It is a very tasty and is an excellent example of a West Coast IPA - if you like IPAs - you will at least like very much if not love it. So not much else to say - but if you're near by and like beer or pizza - you should check it out. read more

I thought about this long and hard. A long, skinny bar. The back is like a large gravel backyard. Plenty of beer. If that is your one pleasure, this may be your place. Not quite mine, but it's just not to my taste. I will say that some folks will love this. It's a backyard kinda feeling. Pricey for the food though. Seriously, check that out....but I won't be back, maybe you will. Service was self serve mostly, but no issue there. read more

Love this place. Fantastic people, food, and service. Thank you ManRock for being a staple of the community

We had such an amazing experience today. The beer was good we both had a flight and enjoyed them so much that we purchased some cans to go. Food was excellent! Can go wrong with a wood burning oven pizza. But, the Mac n cheese was to die for!! I can't believe how good it was. So creamy and gooey i ate it all up without hesitation. I also had their pretzel that comes with cheese and mustard dipping cups. The pretzel was just as good as the rest of the food. They have some board and card games that helped entertained my kid ;) To top it off ... outstanding customer service! read more

I have been here twice now and both times it has been exceptional pizza and service. The pizza is made is made with such care and quality that you can taste it in every bite. The dough is made at a local bakery and all ingredients and appetizers are made fresh in house such as the pickled jalapeños. Let me tell you about the pickled jalapeños I am a sucker for anything with a good pickling. They are so fresh that they still have a crunch to them so please just order them on your pizza. We told the owner that she needs to sell them by the jar! Back to the pizza, it's cooked in a stone oven in the back patio where we can sit under cozy lights enjoy a in house brewed beer and watch as your pizza cooks. It's an experience worth having, again and again. The mac and cheese is so creamy and is served in a hot skillet pan. It's only served during the fall/winter season so try if you get the chance (you won't regret it). The nachos are served with brisket which are good and are a large portion but definitely not star players like the Mac and cheese. The brewery of beers is carefully crafted and they have something to serve any patrons taste buds. All in all this place is delicious, and cozy and it deserves so much more business. On our last visit we had the chance of meeting and speaking with the owner, while she was baking our pizza, she and her staff are so kind and welcoming. She told us all about the dough and making her own pickled jalapeños but also told us business hasn't been the same since the pandemic. This is a staple now every time I stay in Pismo and I will look forward to being back every single time. read more

We arrived mid afternoon to find the place mostly empty. Just a couple people at the bar and one couple outside under an umbrella. We ordered a flight of tasters since we had never been here before. We enjoyed all five of their IPAs. And ordered a pint of beach town and their hazy Citra. Both were really good! We had the Mike's supreme pizza and the crust was perfect! A little bit of crunch on the bottom and just the right doughiness on top. We also got the house salad and I liked the way it was served. It kept all of the items separate and allowed you to mix them if you wanted to have them mixed. everyone who worked there was friendly and seem to be happy. I will definitely be back! read more

Had a great experience here! But be aware the kitchen closes one hour prior to the business close. Shout out to Ryan behind the register/bar who was super knowledgeable and provided great service for our group. There is a great selection of tasty beers here that everyone enjoyed including a few unique flavors (ube beer!) as well as "adult slushies" which we really enjoyed! I loved the sweet combination of soju and coconut/watermelon. Would definitely come back when we are in the area! read more

We walked inside it was a warm evening we dined outside. We ordered a pizza a sausage and a pretzel all the food tasted great. The service was great. We were checked up on a couple times that was nice. Our food took some time but the wait wasn't too bad. My only knock for this place is while we chose to sit on the picnic tables outside in the natural elements we wished they had wiped away the spiders and their webs on all the benches and tables before opening. Many of the webs looked to be there for quite some time. Beware dining outside read more

Food was mediocre. Got there at 11:15am and didn't get our food until 12:30pm. We were one of three parties there. Forgot our breadsticks (for our little girls) and had to cancel them due to being over hour wait. Lady making the food and getting food from was rude. We changed our adventure for the day and ended up here. It's in a small plaza area in the corner. Walking in, it is a little dark. But your eyes do adjust. It's a quaint brewery, with several different beers on tap. We happened to be there on a Wednesday, which is their burger night and $2 off pints. I tried the Grapefruit Blonde, a pleasantly surprising and refreshing blonde beer. BF tried their unfiltered IPA, Beach Town. He quite enjoyed it. My second was the Stout with Oreo Cookies, which to brew this particular beer they used 100 lbs of Oreos! It was a good stout beer but I didn't necessarily taste the Oreo. I would still order it again though. BF's second beer was the Cherry Pit IPA. He liked it and said the cherry was just a hint and nicely done. His favorite though was the unfiltered IPA. We didn't get the burger as we weren't too hungry but we did get the small order of garlic cheese fries. These were not a small order but they were so good we finished the whole thing. The guy sitting next to us at the bar had ordered the burger and said they are really good burgers. Will have to wait until next time we are there on a Wed to try it. They have a cool backyard with tables, a brick pizza oven, and stage. Summertime we were told they have bands. We will be back with our appetites and thirst! read more
