I've never been here, will never go here based solely on the fact that they kept my wife and I awake in our hotel room until 11pm after traveling all day. The music was unbelievably loud and disturbing, they didn't bother to close their front door to lower the sound level. Came here with a large group. We had to scatter throughout the bar as it was already very busy. Some of us sat at the bar. Sitting at the bar, we were able to meet co-owner Steve (Jake, as he reminded us of our son). I heard someone ask him for a menu and he said the menu is in his head lol. I thought geez ok. Then when we needed to order drinks, he gave us suggestions and we took them. It takes a minute to get to know Steve and his ways,lol. Steve is very straightforward person, multitasker, funny (if you get his personality). Boardroom has many funny signs inside, games to play, outside patio, it is right by the pier. I was disappointed that the actual "on tap" list didnt match UnTappd. I use the app to plan my trips and "we are too busy to keep up" was a let down. Stop by during our evening walk. GF saw it and got excited and we stopped in for her to have a glass beer she chose West Coast IPA beer which she enjoyed. The owner was nice and gave me a tasting of a beer that tasted like orange soda which he stated was popular with his customers. He also gave a tasting of a newer brewery from San Diego to GF which was also an IPA. IPA is her choice of beer. Place is small and inviting with music playing and a dart board for those who want to play. Place also serves food. Friend was happy and bummed we only discovered it on our last night. Stopped by today on a whim, best decision ever. This place has great vibes, found a common hometown connection with Steve and the service was great. The food was also good, we had the chicken tenders which tasted like they were brined in dill pickle juice (don't quote me I could be wrong) (also don't knock it till you try it) and they were juicy and amazing. Ok Steven, Clearly you were offended by my experience at your establishment. Your correct i was wrong on the Celsius drink, let me correct myself, it was the berry Cider my group ordered while we were there. There was no food ordered. It's clear that constructive criticism you can't accept well. The name calling in your response really shows your character as the business owner, and how you deal with customers opinion on how the experience was at your establishment. The ambiance was basic. We actually had a large group that attended your establishment, we were celebrating a engagement, and brought our evening celebration to your establishment to try. I believe in second chances, however you left a negative impression to ever visit your establishment with your response to my experience, and I feel that customers will see how you treat patrons. My favorite place in Pismo! I enjoyed my first visit so much that I came back twice! Good beer, lots of sports channels, and I made a few friends. The bartenders were awesome. My husband and I stopped in today to check the place out. Their beer selection is fantastic and the bartender was helpful and friendly. You can definitely cozy up and watch a game here as well. Food and service were excellent. The front host, Steve was a very kind and welcoming gentleman. He even tried a hot sauce with my friend tk try it out, even if it ended up burning him. We came here because we needed a place to eat that was open past 9pm. We were so glad we did, because the sandwich, burger, and flatbread pizza were all outstanding. The flatbread was so crunchy and tasty. The bar crowd was rowdy, and some people said some upsetting things, but not the bar's fault. Felt bad for our bartender who had to deal with it. I haven't had much of the food but all that I have had has been really really good . I do miss the burritos they used to serve on Tues . The dude and I came here on July 29th, 2021 for an outing as I was seriously Princess hungry as I haven't ate anything all day. We arrived around 10:45pm and was surprised that this place was pretty much open until 12am (around the area everything was closed). Anywho, it was pretty close to the beach and the Pismo Beach Hotel where we were staying at . This was pretty much our first bar experience since 2019 which is very insane - who would have thought! We walked in with our masks on (the dude is fully vaccinated and I'm partially.) There were some people purposefully coughing excessively due to us wearing masks upon entering - we just ignored it - just habit for us to wear masks. They had outdoor seating and indoor seating which was nice. There were so many young drunk/tipsy kids there which was weird to see as we haven't been in a bar in over two years almost, so the music, noises, crowdiness was very overwhelming to us for sure. However, we adjusted to the atmosphere pretty quickly as it wasn't as startling. We found a table pretty easily in the center of the bar. We grabbed a menu and proceeded to look at the drinks and food this establishment had to offer. For this place to be a bar they had a variety of yummy sounding dishes. They have a huge alcoholic drink menu which was dude friendly and princess friendly as well. I ended up getting the Pina Colada Beer which was very tasty and didn't think it would get me buzzing at all! But it did! The dude got him a Pizza Beer which he liked a lot. We ended up ordering the chicken tenders and the dude got a chicken sandwich. The dude enjoyed the sandwich and I took a princess bite and it was delicious. 8/10. The dude really liked it and pretty much finished the whole thing. The chicken tenders were absolutely delicious 9/10. I could only finish one chicken tender but it was absolutely big and juicy - really, really good and the sauce was yummy too!. Probably one of the most tastiest chicken tenders I had in awhile and they were not greasy at all, so I would highly recommend. The food did take forever to come out but was worth the wait, the server was very outgoing and friendly (easy on the eyes too!). He was very personable, playing the hook game, with other patrons and handling a busy bar atmosphere which was impressive. Bar tenders were very quick and managing the crowd really well. Fastest turn around on bar drinks I had in awhile. I eventually played the hook game and after 4 or 5 princess tries I made it in WOOHOO definitely a fun game. The dude and I enjoy people watching; especially drunk people. We met some elderly dude who is a legend around Pismo that can be someone's grandpa hitting on the young chicks, young dudes hitting on someone's mom, couples getting into arguments -it was a site to see! The dude and I seriously had a great time at his bar, love the staff, people were fun, the games were fun but took some time to get adjusted to at first due to the pandemic (not going to a bar in almost two years but adjustable), food was delicious! I highly recommend coming here, you will not be bored or disappointed pointed at all. Good food and great drinks! We left full and tipsy walking back to the hotel. My husband and I stopped here on our way back from Big Sur. It looked like a super cool place that allowed dogs. The owner Steven opened up and immediately welcomed our pups (and us). Steven is super chill and really fun to chat with, and we had such a great time we decided to stick around Pismo Beach for the night. We spent most of the day and night at The Boardroom playing darts, making friends, and having a total blast. The beer is delicious and most patrons are there to kick back and have a good time. People of all ages seemed at ease and it was clear how beloved Steven was in town. Thanks for teaching me how to stop throwing darts "like a sissy dinosaur" haha! We will 10000% be going to Pismo again so we can go to this bar! read more

Ordered our beers and pizza, burgers, wings, salad and received them in a reasonable amount of time. We wanted something more chill and fun after eating at excellent Ventana and this spot did not disappoint. I tried 3 different pizzas...my ranking: 1-bbq chicken 2-pesto margherita 3-volcano (meat lover's) I also enjoyed the double patty burger. Fresh beef.
