I'm intrigued with Paso Robles Brewing, and I want more and more. Doesn't look like much from the street, a regular type of restaurant or bar with an outside patio. But oh no no...cute as hell inside with parlor colors -- red chairs, big beer fermentation tanks, cool artwork, big TV's, and more. It was around 430pm, but there were people, and many were eating. The vibe was good, and only made better on an evening or weekend. I only came in for a beer (a delicious Hef), and ordered some Cheese Curds, OMG -- those fried cheese things were so good. Came here for lunch on a Saturday around 1:30pm and it wasn't full. Probably 75% occupied. Was immediately seated by James. I noticed how warm it was in here that I had to eventually ask James to turn on the fan because I couldn't enjoy my food any longer. We ended up ordering the Pig Wings to start. The mains was a Cubano and corn brat. While waiting, we both enjoyed our beers. It was very refreshing and at the right temp. The pig wings are bbq pork ribs that's been deep fried. It came with a raspberry dipping sauce. The ribs were tender, but didn't have much flavor to it. Thankfully the dipping sauce made it better. The corn brat was not good at all. There was no flavor to it and honestly, it reminded me of the corn dogs you buy at the Supermarket in the frozen food section. The brat was a little mushy and no flavor at all. However, the crinkle fries were pretty good. They were crispy and seasoned well. I thought the Cubano was just ok. It comes with pulled pork and a slice of pork belly. I thought it was just ok. I did like the fried cheese curds though. Just make sure you eat them quickly as when they cool off, it gets hard and changes the taste profile. Overall, I wouldn't come here for food as it's just ok. Come here for the beer. Also, they don't have a soda gun, so their sodas come in a can and it's very limited. I think all they have is root beer and cream soda. Our server James was fantastic though. He kept checking in on us and very accommodating. When I mentioned that the corn brat was not good, he offered to take it off the check. I told him I didn't feel right about doing that, so he offered me a root beer and called it even. read more

Couldn't decide were we wanted to go so we decided to try Paso Brewery. The food on the menu was typical brewery food. We were excited to see they had cheese curds. Many places have gone away with them. Theirs were really good. I usually don't care for cheese curds but these were very good. I ordered a cheeseburger and fires. The wait was a little long but I was very impressed and satisfied with the burger. The pretzel here is also very good. My daughter really enjoyed it. I also had a prickly pear drink. I didn't care for it but really like the Polly Dolly cider. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and food. It is a little pricy. read more

YES! Opened in 2021, this place is great! The staff were super friendly and always happy to refill your glass. The menu had all sorts of food options. Rotating taps and a cool display of their uniquely cooled beer. Tried the flight and then went straight to the Seltzer which was like a regular old sparkling water (at 5.2% warning bells going off cuz I could drink these all day!). When Justin found out it was our first visit and we only had one more night, he handed us each a token which we promised to return to use (apparently some folks keep them... I mean, they ARE cool looking and you never see these things any more!) but we kept to our word and returned the next evening. Lots of cool military memorabilia and pics. Apparently the owners father is a Vietnam era Marine. The merch has it all (hats, hoodies, t-shirts) and uses the oak tree and American flag motif well. Such an incredibly fun spot for all things beer and food related. And so dog-friendly. Love that. Our server Justin was incredible at making different beer selections. Worked our way nicely through their Pub Bites menu, which was perfect for keeping us all happy and well fed. Located on the southern tip of Spring Street, is PRB. They have tons of parking all around the restaurant. It's definitely a neat looking Brewery. The Bar is awesome! The Restaurant had an upbeat vibe. We ordered many things, I tried the Chicken Sandwich w/added Avocado, French Fries, Fried Cheese Curds, and Bavarian Pretzel. It was pretty packed and it took 45mins for our food. The Pretzel was good, soft, salty, slight snap, fluffy. The mustard tasted a lot like Heinz Mustard. The Cheese tasted like Nacho cheese, mixed with something else. I dug it. The Cheese Curds were delicious! Gooey cheese, crunchy/slight spice breading and awesome ranch sauce to dip it in. The fries, although cafeteria style, were crispy and well salted. The Chicken Sandwich had fresh vegetables and a great soft, toasted, brioche bun. The Chicken was overdone and dry. Beware of credit card fees! I had dinner at Paso Robles Brewing for the second time last night. Both times, I have found both the service and the quality of the food and beer to be excellent. However, I strongly object to the additional 3.9% fee imposed for credit card users. When you charge $9 per beer and $16 for chicken tenders, there should be enough built-in profit to cover your cost of using a credit card. I'm not claiming dishonesty - the fee notification was clearly printed on the menu As I said, it was an otherwise pleasant dining experience, and I regret that I will not be returning. read more

Awesome brewery tucked away in Paso Robles. Food was great, beer was stellar, and the service was excellent. Both workers were very friendly while also being efficient, handling a large amount of people in the building with a smile on their face. First time trying PRB. Had a great time with a great chill and have a Brew atmosphere. We tried a few in a short time. Wife and I enjoyed the crisp fresh American lager,perfect for a hot summer day. We also drink the blonde and I could see the bbq going, the pool ready and a hot dog in hand. The Pilsner had a unique flavor but very enjoyable. Had a corn dog bratwurst, nice flavor but for me a spicer flavor would rock. Service was friendly and pleasant making sure our glasses were filled. This brew pub is everything you're looking for my friend. It has the ambience, the "in house" brewed craft beer, the kitchen serves up the best of what you want and the live music and outdoor space is open and inviting. Listen, no cheap gimmicks or catchy phrases...just good hometown fun from the locals. I love the schwag (the hats), and I needed to get a new one to replace the old. I walked in and found my favorite hat that I've replaced 2 times already only to realize I was about 5 dollars short (forgot my wallet). So I said "hey guys, i need to get my wallet and go to the ATM because im a bit "short". Humble owner Ryan said immediatel..."No man, forget about the ATM, you don't have to leave and come back". Came in to try since they just opened. All the beers are great. We love Jason's beers (brewmaster). All great. They do more of European pours. Their beer faucets are Lukr from Czech Republic. It's the old European way of pouring. They also move the beer as little as possible and use tank beer. Which means the beers you drink are as fresh as they can get. We also decided to eat lunch here as well. We got the Wagyu burger with bacon and avocado with a side of cheese curds and the Philly Cheesesteak with fries. The burger was your standard great burger. Fried cheese curds are great! Can't go wrong with them. The philly was just okay for us. When we ordered we didn't realize we had to specify to add the onion, peppers, and mushrooms. So that was our bad. Wish we were asked how we wanted it. But it's no fault but ours. Also, I do like cheez whiz with a philly but prefer it on the bread or at least add cheese with it. Fries were good. All staff was nice and great to talk to. Love the look of the place. Bar stools are comfy! We will be back and try other things. And of course have another great beer. read more

Fun! Stopped in for lunch and a beer. Staff was very friendly, and had great recommendations, and knowledge of PRBC's beers, we had a Red Lager, a wonderful and flavorful lager. A bit more malt than expected, and this is a good thing. Very clean and wonderful beer to have with lunch. Hops were very well balanced, just enough to match the crisp red lager. It took me a while to finally try PRB out - I think mostly because of the location. I kind of forget it's here since it's a few blocks away from the square. Nonetheless, they have plenty of free parking. In the end, the online menu got my attention so off we went for lunch. First off, I was VERY happy that they serve a few wines. Just the basics, but my red blend was good and much appreciated since I cannot drink beer. We shared the pork riblets and some chicken strips. Both great, but the riblets were definitely the star. Also, good for you guys for serving crinkle cut fries. Yum. Everything was hot, reasonably priced and the service was attentive. This is a really cool space with fun decor. PRB would make for a great place for an event or watch a band. Apparently it's an old car dealership. I've only lived in PR for a couple years so I was always curious. Cool atmosphere and the service was good. Food was ok. The prices are on par with the area. Not really kid friendly. We had 6 people at our table. I guess they automatically add a 20 percent tip which is fine. Although when the waiter put the tablet in my hands it was asking for the tip amount so I added a tip with no idea one had already been added. I was not informed of the automatic tip being added and that's my fault for not checking. Just watch out for that automatic tip because they won't tell you. read more

My first time to this brewery and was very impressed with everything. I sat at the bar and was greeted promptly. I started with their West Coast IPA. It gave me time to look at the food menu. I ordered the filet mignon bites with small mushrooms which are crazy good. Served with two slices of cheese bread. Very delicious! It was time for a second IPA called old school IPA. I'm an IPA fan and this one was unique. Very good! The place has a great vibe and plays old school 80s music which is my favorite. This place was a quick stop on the way from SoCal to NorCal , in Paso Robles about half way mark. Super great staff , very friendly and a real joy. The place was very clean and done up well. Since driving could not drink but the selection looked great. Did have Philly sandwich which was good , not great but good. The one thing was the cheese must of been liquid cheese. Not that it wasn't worth getting , did enjoy the different taste but probably would not order again. Now as for environment , clean , friendly this is a sure stop next time through in a few weeks So stop in try the beer and I'll do same next time and let's post again.
