Best veggie pizza I've found in Pasadena! Loaded with veggies and ingredients are fresh! Me and my wife's go to!

We rarely order pizza and wanted to support a more local business, versus one of the national chain restaurants. We ordered from Pasadena Pizza Co. for the first time last weekend. I think it probably only deserves 2 1/2 stars, but I'll round up to 3. We ordered a large thin crust pizza with 2 toppings on one half and 2 toppings on the other half, and a meatball sub. I think we got charged for 4 toppings instead of 2 because the guy on the phone said he gave us a "discount," and our total was still over $23 not including a tip for the delivery guy. Whenever we've split toppings at other pizza places, they don't charge you for full toppings since you're only getting half of that topping on your pizza. So, the price was my first complaint. The prices do seem reasonable if you get a cheese or one-topping pizza. My next complaint is that the pizza arrived barely luke warm. It was hardly tepid and definitely not hot. Considering delivery was about 2 miles away, I don't see how this happened. The crust of the pizza was pretty good. I wouldn't call it a true "thin crust" pizza. It was more like your regular pizza crust. I do love that they have artichoke hearts as a topping option. That is incredibly rare from most delivery places and much appreciated. They also use fresh mushrooms, not canned, like some places. The pizza sauce was bland and boring. The meatball sandwich was pretty darn bad. I took one bite and I literally threw the rest away. Meatball subs are a caloric indulgence for me. I saw no point in eating this sandwich if I clearly wasn't going to enjoy it. It had the same flavorless sauce. I can't put my finger on what was wrong with the meatballs, except that they just weren't good. At all. The sandwich was super soggy, which, I guess I should have expected when I ordered a saucy meatball sub to be delivered. We were underwhelmed by our experience, but aren't going to completely rule out this place. I think we might give it one more try before we take their magnet off of our fridge. read more

So happy to have a pizza company in Pasadena do not have to make the trek up to Sierra Madre.The guys work really hard and will remember who you are.Order a pepperoni with extra sauce and ask to make it well done,it will not disappoint.Mon thru Thursday they have great pick up specials. read more

Pasadena pizza company has very good pizza. I have ordered from them at least ten times and it is always great. I always get pepperoni or pepperoni and pineapple. It is a little pricey, but they do have a pick up special that helps cut the cost, but if you're looking for good pizza in Pasadena, this is a must try. read more

Love ordering pizza here. We looked for great pizza for months after moving to pasadena. Reasonably priced, we always order the same thing and the staff always remember who we are. Salads are fresh and tasty. For the price and quality you can beat it. I also love that they support the community with various fundraisers...just a few days ago they had a percentage of all sales donated for breast cancer awareness month. Excellent pizza, fresh ingredients. Very friendly service. I wanted to create my own pizza and wings to go. The gentlemen suggested one of their existing pizza specials with an added topping, which was cheaper and basically the same. The pizza was prepared in less time than what he said it would be. This is our go to delivery place. Great pizza and they bring it to you. Very nice family runs the restaurant. You can tell that they care about service and quality. The kids love the pizza, salads are always fresh. Hawaiian Pizza and Caesar Salad is the standing order for the sitter. read more

My family and I love this place. Pregnancy cravings? My wife chose this pizza 3 times in the last week. The pizza doesn't try to be anything it's not. Don't expect Chicago or NY style (which I LOVE) instead think of thE kind of pizza a good Californian grew up on. Good sauce ratio. Good veggies and meat options. *dropl* The crust is amazing. One of the better places I've had in Pasadena for pizza. We went to eat there, but moving forward - I would rather do takeout. When I called for delivery, I was disappointed they didn't deliver to our area, which is about 4 miles away! The restaurant is located in the corner of a very below-average strip mall, so that's why I'll be dining at home next time. Also, the video games are a huge attraction for kids, but some of them ate our quarters and others didnt' work, and there was no "Out of Service" sign on them. We got a cheese and a vegetable pizza, along with teriyaki chicken wings. Everything was really delicious, and service was FAST. We'll definitely be eating from here again, just not IN the restaurant. read more

We love Pasadena Pizza Co! We order from them every week. We usually get our pizzas delivered and they are always fast and the drivers are great. The service is always awesome. We have ordered everything from pizza to sandwiches to wings to salads and all of the food is always fresh and delicious. Their calzone is awesome no matter what ingredients you pick. I specify well done so, the crust is a little crispier than their usual.

An update: Still very good pizza with excellent service. They did just change their menu, and the most notable change is the removal of their early-week pick-up special. That adds a couple bucks to the order, but the pizza is still reasonably-priced ($13 for a large pie is far from bad; it's just that $10 and change was an excellent deal that will be missed!), as well as very tasty. read more

This is definitely the best pizza place I've found in Pasadena. I usually get a pepperoni, onion, and black olive pizza, but the pastrami pizza is good, too. They are always really nice when I call, which is rare these days! Also, even though they have a few locations, this is a family-owed business, and I think the quality of the ingredients is better. I ordered a large 2 topping pizza which came out to be $17.... A little pricey considering I could've gotten a "$10 any pizza" from Pizza Hut but I was willing to pay a little more at this mom and pop shop. They have mon-thurs pick up special deals where you can save a couple of dollars. I ordered on a Friday. They loaded the pizza with the toppings I ordered, which is a huge plus in my book! But it wasn't the best pizza I've had - it was a little bland. I expected a little more from this place due to the high ratings. I would still come back but it wouldn't be my top choice. read more

I came here tonight to try out their pizza. We ordered a medium sized pizza with chicken and jalapeños on it. It took about 15 minutes to make, then we sat there and ate it. Overall the pizza really had no flavor. The sauce tasted like nothing. I had to ask for napkins, forks, knives and a box because they are not out on the tables and no one asked if we needed any. The place was not very clean or inviting either. It was $15 for the pizza and I would much rather go to Blaze Pizza for a much cheaper individual pizza with way more flavor.
