We hired Parviz for a complete garage renovation and couldn't be happier. We did a full "studs-out" demo, added epoxy floors, custom cabinets, and even a new garage door and attic storage. Our garage used to be a drafty "black hole," but now it's a high-end multi-purpose space. I use it as my daily office, we have our Peloton set up, and most importantly, it's a clean space for our 2-year-old to play floor hockey. Parviz was our main point of contact and was incredibly responsive. He handled the hiccups with the sub-vendors professionally and ensured we always knew the timeline for the plumbing and electrical work. He even threw in some upgraded motion lights outside! Highly recommend his services for any San Jose homeowners looking to add real value to their home. read more

After getting a few quotes on Yelp for our garage remodel, we chose Barcadon, and we're so glad we did! Our project was comprehensive, including tile removal, plumbing and electrical work, refinishing walls, painting, and a new door. Parviz was quick to respond and gave us a very reasonable estimate. He was professional and clearly explained the process, sharing examples of his team's previous work. It was easy to communicate our vision for the space. Throughout the remodel, Parviz kept us updated on their progress. His crew was efficient and completed all the work in a timely manner. The final result is fantastic, and we couldn't be happier. We definitely recommend Barcadon for anyone looking for professional and high-quality work. read more

I hired them for a patio addition, intially they did the design and structure work which i fully paid them. The design work had a lot of mistakes the dimensions were off, the window scheduling and dimensions had a lot of mistakes As a a result of the wrong design work with a lot of mistakes the structure design had mistakes too. I had to pay out of pocket twice for buying windows and door. Our patio room looks funny since the dimensions were off on both sides of the the patio room walls with exisiting walls, and there are gaps between new walls and exisiting walls. I had to hire another construction contractor to finish the construction job , I do not trust Barcadon at all!!!!! With all these mistakes , I would not recommend them at all, bunch of irresponsible people. They can't do big projects. I requested them to refund me for terrible design work they did and I have not heard from them yet. read more

5 stars for Parviz! He did an excellent job on our garage remodeling project from start to finish. The work included a new electrical sub panel, water softener installation, garage side motor installation, 3 layers of epoxy flooring, insulation on both the walls and ceiling, as well as drywall and painting. He also handled the city permits and inspections, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free for us. Everything was completed with great attention to detail and high quality workmanship. The garage looks clean, modern, and very functional now. Parviz is professional, reliable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy general contractor. read more

Barcadon is the best, honesty. I had a situation where there was a screen door busted and the moment I put in a request for a handy man I was reached out by the Barcadon team and had an appointment with in 2hours... 3 hours later the screen door was fixed brand new ready to go! I had several companies bid on my project to build a room into my large bonus room. From a pricing perspective they came in right in the middle of the pack, but I could tell right away that I was going to get top-tier professionalism. Parviz, the owner, was very responsive. He was also punctual and efficient. His team did a great job, but also they displayed a work ethic that is unfortunately hard to find when dealing with contractors: they were punctual, reliable, FAST (project took only 4 days!), RESPECTFUL and really quiet! Seriously they were doing tear-down and construction and the noise, mess and everything else you expect was absolutely minimal. We hardly knew they were there. Super friendly guys and you really get the sense that they are going above and beyond not to disturb the home owner. I will be using Barcadon for all my future projects. read more

I was looking for someone who could help with installing Yardistry 12x24 pergola that I bought from Costco. After going through many handyman / landscaping / construction companies who gave exorbitant quotes, I found Parviz (Barcadon). Parviz was confident and knew what he was doing. He has extensive experience installing Costco pergolas. His team gave me a reasonable price and also was able to finish the installation within a day. I got the right advice on what type of footings will be required for a safe installation. I am going to work with Parviz on many more upcoming projects. read more

I have loved working with Paul (Parviz) of Barcadon Construction. To start, I talked with Paul and he cam over to my house and discussed the project with me and prepared a quote for me. He charged me 40$ which was later applied towards the cost of the construction. I bothered Paul a lot about the quote and went back and forth several times and Paul was very patient with me. After I got HOA approval we started the work, and Paul scheduled the time and his team arrived on time and completed the work in time. The construction was completed as per the design I provided. Everything was great. I found that some of the painting work was not finished up that well and when I mentioned to Paul he sent over his sub contractors to finish touch up properly. Overall I am very happy with Paul and his professionalism. Very communicative responsive and works hard to make the customer happy. He is my go to contractor for several renovation projects I have planned this summer. read more

Barcadon and team were amazing. We needed to do a considerable amount of remodeling in our kitchen and we had a very tight timeline to complete it. On top of that, we also had a tight budget. We spoke to a few contractors for quotes. But none were as prompt and detailed as Parviz. He went through each line item and worked with us to ensure what we needed met our budget. He understood our constraints of time and money and worked quite hard with his team, and personally oversaw everything. We needed to replace the flooring in our kitchen and living room. We also needed to remodel our kitchen by installing granite countertops, replacing cabinets, sinks, dishwasher and also changing from electric to gas stove (can be complicated!). Parviz and team methodically approached the project and worked to deliver it well within our timeline. Whatever was quoted was what we ended up paying. This makes them trustworthy. Parviz was very responsive via text and phone and would also meet us in person whenever we asked. He helped us make choices where our knowledge was lacking and helped ensure we made well-informed decisions. We will definitely look to calling them for our future remodeling needs. read more

I would recommend Barcadon's Handyman Services and hire them again! Pariz hung up two handmade textile art pieces for me. I've previously worked with Accurate Art Installation for other hanging pieces, and my experience with Barcadon was far superior. His prices are very reasonable and comparable to other quotes I received. He responded to my inquiry very fast and came the next day. He was very efficient with his time, which I appreciate because I have a very active 1 year old who requires a lot of attention, and prefer to have service providers out as quickly as possible. Also his work was clean and well done. read more

We hired barcadon for remodeling our garage. They did a fantastic job of finishing the garage with new dry wall, hiding plumbing lines with utility doors, installing new electric water heater, recessed lighting and epoxy coating for the floor. Very professional and responsive to any feedback. The only thing that could have gone better was the duration. Estimation was 3 weeks but we ended up wrapping much later but the quality of work was great and we are happy to hire them again for upcoming work read more

I was looking for the installation of dVault Full Service Vault DVCS0015 Secure Curbside Mailbox/Package Drop with Locking Letterbox (Black) secured to the ground using a cemented platform and put up an exterior structure. After weeks of search, I found Barcadon Handyman Services. After talking to Mr. Parviz on the phone I was unable to convey the design properly but decided to go with him as he emphasized that he will get it done no matter what the job might entail. It was a big decision as the cost of dVault full service vault itself is $1000 and I didn't want to order it unless I've secured the installer. It took 3 weeks to get the dVault mailbox but the driver delivered it in the garage. So I immediately called Parviz and he was nice enough to send someone in the evening to install but the person after seeing the box realized it is a bigger task then what he envisioned so Parviz told me that the job will cost more than what he previously asked. I also realized that so I agreed to the new price and he told me that he will find the exterior shell for the parcel box but couldn't. Parviz called again after installing the box to the cement platform that he didn't find the exterior shell but he will be able to build a structure. I agreed again to it as he always sounded very genuine and with a spirit to do the job as he is doing something with passion and for himself. The end result was just awesome!!! It looked so good and I've got compliments from everyone who has seen it. He didn't ask for any payment upfront. He did the job, once we were satisfied with the job he asked me to send the payment through PayPal. I'll recommend Barcadon Handyman Services wholeheartedly... Very Professional and seems very honest... read more

I had requested their services for ADU permitting; they charged me $200 just for initial consulting. Since they are highly rated on yelp, I thought it was ok to pay them as, most likely, I was planning to hire them based on all the yelp ratings. Initially, they were very responsive but suddenly stopped responding & I never heard back from them. I would not recommend them and would caution people to pay an initial high consulting fee as after that, it'll be challenging to get a response from them. Barcadon Construction has done a superb job with our house remodeling project. The entire team at Barcadon Construction was a pleasure to deal with including the office staff, project managers, vendors, and workers. They were professional in their evaluation of the project, estimate, and drafting of a detailed contract. They were honest, competent, competitively priced, and delivered what they promised plus more. They were very accommodating when surprises and unusual circumstances presented themselves. Our project was enhanced with insight and ideas that we would not have known about if not for tapping into their rich experience. We were always given options and the ability to make our own decisions. The final product was better than what we expected. Construction and renovation is usually a difficult and stressful experience, however, we were fortunate to have Barcadon Construction make the process smooth and as pleasant as possible. I was very content with the quality of the finished work and the contractors who worked on the different aspects of remodeling. He had very skilled people and by the end of the project we developed a good relationship with Mr.Parviz and most of the people who worked on the project. Mr.Parviz, started the project 15 days earlier than the agreed date on my request.
