I love the food here from the grilled food to the traditional Mexican food with a bit of American Flair to it. They have great drinks as well. Enchiladas, burritos and tacos all good. The prices are very reasonable

I love this place but seriously this place is a gem. The food is great, friendly staff, good drinks and the singing! I've gone to their karaoke nights and they are fun with fun hosts that entertain but also don't ruin your whole meal bugging you. I have had a few family gatherings and birthday celebrations from 10-25 people and the owner and staff have been accommodating and amazing. They offered a prefix menu with parrilladas and a good deal on pitchers. Everyone was pleased! In short you can count on a good time, and most importantly have authentic yummy food.

Had an amazing time here. The food is delicious, the drinks are on fire and the karaoke was so much fun. I highly recommend this place!

My friend and I stopped in a few weeks ago to redeem drink coupons we received from somewhere for a complimentary margarita. No complaints there. With the new rules in the city you have to order food with drinks at most establishments and it was no biggie since we had drinks coming our way. We both got frozen coconut margaritas and they were tasty and medium level boozey-ness. It was like a more adult version of a pina colada I feel. The menu is fairly medium-expensive priced so we settled on just an appetizer of empanadas. I think the waitress was confused when we placed our order because she asked us both what type we wanted and we both were like well, shrimp. Which was what we decided on for the order. She comes back with two orders of empanadas when we clearly said we only wanted one order. When we corrected her, she got really angry and huffy. I was debating ordering another drink but she literally just grabbed the other order of empanadas and stormed off. Ten minutes later another waitress comes outside with our check. Talk about weird and emotional service? Also, an order of empanadas is just 2 pieces for $8. They're not very large either. Decent amount of shrimp but let's be real - I can go across the street to mama's and get a sack of empanadas that taste better for the same price. I did enjoy the complimentary tri color chips and salsa though. That was a really nice touch. I'd come for drinks and maybe try like queso or something but the service is questionable.

Mexican & Karaoke is always a good time! Came on a Sunday night, and before entering you could hear the party inside. They karaoke is extremely loud, maybe a little too loud but hey it's Sunday night. The food was delicious, great Mexican food. Hands down. We ordered a pitcher of white sangria, it was quite one of the better sangrias I've had and it was FILLED with fruit. Highly recommended. Besides sangria, the drinks looked amazing, as i saw the waitresses/ waiters bringing it to tables. The guacamole is fresh, made at the table. Check-in offer: free dessert. We ordered the tres leche and flan. Very good. Staff: very attentive. Overall great experience, would come ba

Was so excited for some Tex Mex. Food is subpar. No taste. None. Not even kidding. I hate salt but I had to use it bc there was legit no taste. Also, steak was tough. (Get those chompers ready.) Great jaw workout. My marg did not give me a buzz. The waiter was kind & place is clean.

Went here on Saturday night with my family. Really, really enjoyed Parrilladas Sunrise. It's a great addition to Jackson Heights because, the atmosphere is lovely, the food is quite delicious and the staff is warm and friendly. I think the outside of the restaurant doesn't do the inside justice. Once inside, you have completely entered Sunrise! The bar is quite lovely ... there is then a single step down to the restaurant floor, and the step is lit up with blue lights. It is very trans-formative and it works! You are there for a lovely meal, great service and ambiance. We had a taco salad, steak fajittas, and steak quesadilla. We all really thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, with the sangria. Bienvenidos!!! Welcome, and enjoy.

So a trio of hungry friends were seeking a late night Mexican spot around 11 40sh.(A time where most establishments close up) So we did not have many options. We saw the reviews for this establishment and decided to hit this spot up. When we entered we just hear loud Spanish music and some karaoke in the back. The establishment was so loud that the waitress can barely hear what we was trying to order. I got a super chicken chimichanga ,my boy got a super steak burrito and my other boy got a breaded chicken platter. The waitress was nice and was professional.Food was good and came as described. I liked the food the chimi was crispy the red sauce was nice and spicy .The environment was bad , some lady was singing off beat and the music was off beat and no rhythm at all (our boy pointed this out and he Dominican and an expert in Bachata) but we all came to a conclusion that the place was wayyy too loud and ruined the atmosphere while we was eating. I could you not my eardrums felt as they were going to erupt while staying too long. We got our stomachs satisfied but in return had headaches. We quickly paid our bill and left. Food was great but the environment was too loud not going back sorry but not sorry.

Good food. The ambiance was very loud. Went on karaoke night so it was hard to enjoy the meals. The food was delicious. Make sure you get the tree Leche and glam for dessert.

I popped in for lunch recently. The place is very nice and the service was awesome. The burrito comes with a Modelo for lunch. The Halloween decorations was very well done. I think this is a great addition to the neighborhood.

Food was impressively great ! We came in about 6 PM on a Saturday evening for my husbands bday dinner. And decided to try this place out. It's a small Mexican place on northern blvd. Great food and amazing margaritas ! The bill was about $200 for four of us, 2 rounds of drinks and we each had an entree each. They also gave us a round of drinks on the house !

The menu is entirely in Spanish but the waiters can help if needed. We ordered the Gobernador taco, a half dozen shrimp, the regular guacamole and the aguachiles verdes. The Gobernador was a large size - really more like a mini quesadilla than a taco in my mind. It was flavorful and filled with seafood. The half dozen shrimp were cooked well, but a little hard and messy to peel. The guac was good, a little oily but tasty. The aguachiles were really good but borderline too spicy for me. The spice continued to build as I ate them and it did feel less enjoyable but it was good to start. My main grievance with this restaurant was how loud it was. I was yelling and struggling to hear what my friend or the waiter said, but the food was delicious. Maybe if it were less crowded it would be ok, but definitely not a great atmosphere for having a conversation.

They offer a different special for any day of the week, first time around on a Thursday Margaritas special , Tamarind & Mango nice big glass great margaritas, good tasty & nice & strong They start u off with some cake pieces, has a banana bread taste very good. Apps , we tried the Tostones con Birria very good great tasting meat & Chorizo Mac & cheese , also very good. Main dishes , Al pastor tacos & Chicken Burrito were both very good. Next time we stopped by for brunch, we got the bottomless option tried the Sangrita white, good sangrita price wise makes sense assuming u drinking more than 3-4 glasses a person. On the food Carnitas Benedict & short rib hash were both very tasty. For dessert gave the Tres Leches a try not bad, just the right amount of sweet. Another brunch visit & we tried Paloma spritz, good & Mexican coffee, pretty strong in taste. Chicken & waffles topped with bacon, very good chicken good combo dish. & the Lady's enchiladas great taste the enchiladas w the green sauce & cheese on top. Good size restaurant, small bar area towards the back, simple but colorful decor. Service overall has been good, they are attentive. Reasonable prices & u get a decent amount of food. This place has been around for some time, happy we discovered it recently overall good vibe, food & drinks, we will continues to visit from time to time.

Ironically, earlier while trying to decide where to go for dinner, I had sent this restaurant to my friend but we ended up going somewhere else and came here for drinks afterward. The drinks were really good! We tried the "Sexy Oaxaca," which consists of 7 Misterios Doba-Yej Mezcal, Cointreau, grilled pineapple, mint agave, fresh lemon, and warm salt. This drink takes your taste buds on a ride. It starts off light and refreshing with the mezcal throughout, then finishes with a smoky effect from the pineapple since it's lit. It was really good!! I also tried the "VIP Old Fashion," made with Patrón Extra Añejo, Nixta corn liqueur, Angostura, and orange bitters. This was also good and was smoked prior to being served, giving it a smoky aftertaste. It's definitely a drink you sip slowly. Although we arrived about an hour and a half before closing, the waiter was very polite and professional. They also didn't rush us out once it was closing time, which I appreciated. There were other customers still there enjoying themselves as well. I will definitely be back for dinner. I'm very curious to see what the food is like. I really enjoyed the drinks.

Nothing bad, but I felt like it could've been a bit better overall. The food was good though, I ordered the mixtos tacos, which let's you pick three different tacos from the menu. I never had it before and it was honestly the standout dish for me. I would order that again. I also tried the enquites which is street corn. It had a bit of a burnt taste. I know some people enjoy that smokey flavor, but it really wasn't for me. Overall, it was a nice time and for some of the dishes too.
