this place is so disgusting it has roaches, mice, rats this horrible dirty taco place should be shut down immediately

It was good food for what it's meant to be and the price! I am sensitive to gluten so ordered fried corn tortilla tacos. I tried three different ones. The Chili Taco was good but be cautious if ordering for take out because it is very very messy. It was leaking all over the place as I was unwrapping it from the foil. The steak and guacamole tacos tasted fresh. The steak had pretty good flavor. One of the main things I didn't like was that the fried corn tortilla broke apart easily and very fast. I expected it with the chili taco but not with the steak and guacamole taco since they were dry. The staff seemed friendly overall. Would come back for Tex-mex junk food. read more

Wanted to try a new spot, since I usually go to Homemade Taqueria for my Mexican delivery. Big mistake, and waste of money. Cheaper prices but significantly worse quality. Quick delivery at least It's one thing to do bland tasteless Mexican food that's not authentic, but another to throw together some items and pretend it's Mexican. Their burritos? Yeah, more like a huge giant taco that you can't even hold or eat without everything spilling out. If I wanted a taco, I could have gotten an actual small taco with less stuff. It wasn't even rolled. It was folded in half. I was shocked when I opened it up. Chicken burrito -- very salty, overcooked chicken. Kind of looked like roast pork. Chili burrito -- could not even eat because getting it out of the foil would wreck it and be a huge mess. *All the burrito "fixings" like sour cream, lettuce, tomato and guacamole were on the side, as opposed to rolled in the burrito. If they just put in less meat/rice, everything would have fit in the burrito. *As other Yelpers have said, the guac was runny. tasteless, like it was mashed with water instead of lime juice. And it wasn't even green by the time it got to me, was a slightly brown green. French fries -- crispy but very greasy bites, instead of a crunchy potato texture. Like they used old oil over and over? Crispy chicken sandwich -- probably the best thing. Very crispy patty. Definitely would not order again. I don't care if something is necessarily authentic when I need a quick bite, but it should not be completely, messy slop. read more

Fresca Tortilla - Counter - Mexican Near Me - Maspeth, New York

Been ordering from here once in a while for years. Their Tex-Mex stuff is decent. The tostada salad is prob my fave thing from them. They have expanded their menu to include burgers, sandwiches, teriyaki bowls, wings. I was really craving a burger and really didn't wanna pay diner prices. I decided to give them a try. I ordered a cheeseburger, onion rings, and apple sticks. Cheeseburger was not bad. Tasted like a fast food burger. Was bigger than I expected. Onion rings and apple sticks were a bit overdone. They were not golden brown, they were brown. So there was that overfried taste which made them kinda suck. They're good for when u want something other than Chinese or pizza. read more

This place is not gourmet food but it is better than Taco Bell and the food is fresh with many good ingredients. My kids love this place. I think it is probably healthier than the pizza or "Mc" place down the street. read more

Pretty good Mexican. My favorite place in maspeth for a quick cheap bite and delivery is super fast always.

I was really looking forward to having Fresca tonight. I ordered at 6:15 in and nothing came until 735 I called him and said I do not want my food. She said we are busy you're not only customer and I replied I should not be waiting an hour plus for food. Never ordering from them again. Tossed the menu in the garbage so I don't call them ever again or can read more

It's a fast food takeout joint owned by Chinese people that serve Tex Mex food and hamburgers. it is not a destination joint. It is a, hey I am hungry and I want some food quick that is going to be satisfying and filling type of food that will not break the bank joint. I enjoy the hamburgers here. They are very generous with the sauces so if you dont like a lot of ketchup, mayo and mustard in your burger, I suggest you have it without...I tell them no sauces. You won't find lamb, salmon, tuna, elk, buffalo, etc burgers here. It is the run of the mill frozen beef patties here. Nothing wrong with that. It is what it is. It looks like a typical family owned Chinese takeout place...but they do not serve Chinese food. There is nothing fancy about it. I never ate inside the place but there is a couple of tables. read more

Fresca Tortilla - Chicken and steak quesadillas with cheese fries - Mexican Near Me - Maspeth, New York

My co workers and I ordered from here today, they had chicken burritos while I got a gigantic steak quesedilla with pico de gallo on the side. My co workers said their burritos were, ok but not anything super special. My quesedilla however was pretty ballin I really enjoyed the steak and guacamole and how large the portion was, I can not say the same for the pico de gallo. First the pico de gallo looked weird and like a mush, I guess I just prefer the way i used to have it when working in a Spanish restaurant. It also tasted strange. Hope this review was helpful -Adem read more

Freaking ridiculous. Placed order at 7:10, food usually takes a half hr to make or so, or at least an hr depending on how busy it is. But it's 9:20 now. We called the restaurant to see what happened, lady screamed saying it was cinco de mayo and they're going to make the food now.. seriously? We ALWAYS order from there!!!! At least give us a heads up! We told her to cancel, and she was very sarcastic over the phone screaming saying "Oh thank you for canceling, thank you"... seriously? I would love to speak to the manager about this. Please contact me, i am owed A FREE MEAL FOR TWO. WE ALWAYS TIP VERY GENEROUSLY AND ACTUALLY LIKE THE FOOD. RIDICULOUS TO SAY THE LEAST! read more

This place is great. The price is right and the food is delicious. Very clean, fast delivery, good variety. If you like American style Tex-Mex food this is the place for you. The enchiladas are awesome. My family has been ordering from here for years and we never had a problem. Expanded menu is great too. Booya. read more

The food is passable, but the customer service is absolutely dreadful. They didn't correctly package one of the items I ordered and as a result it spilled inside the bag. My other orders were unaffected, so I went back with that order alone and explained the situation. I was treated very rudely and assumed to be at fault, and was told to "be careful next time". My own negative customer service experience aside, the food is alright, but much too expensive for what you get. If you're in the area, a better solution is to go to Homemade Taqueria, which is literally just down the block. It's much better food for about the same price, maybe just slightly more expensive. You'll be getting way more bang for your buck, that's for sure. If I wanted microwaved Mexican food I'd just go to the CVS across the street and pay a third of what I did here. read more

Typical "mexican" place owned by a chinese person. But the food is good. Price is good. Also decent size portions. And they have fast delivery. Isnt that what you want in general? Will definitely order from here again. Glad i found this place. Also they are open pretty late. read more

Fresca Tortilla - two trays of food - Mexican Near Me - Maspeth, New York

If you want inexpensive fast Tex mex even burger type food this is the place. I've been ordering from here for many years. We have always ordered the flour tortillas but then decided to order burger and fries to see what that was about. If u are in the mood for McDonald type fast food burgers which are different from diner burgers then try these. The cheeseburger and choice of fries or onion rings are really good very affordable and mimic fast food burger and fries. It's surprisingly good but def not healthy lol. If u want to go somewhat healthy that's when I go for the grilled chicken fajita tortillas or the steaks tortillas and the black bean and cheese flour tortillas are delish too! This is my "I'm starving " and need fast delivery go to Mexican / burger type place read more

I've been going there since they opened a million years ago. They deliver quickly and until pretty late (11pm, I think) The food is consistent, inexpensive and the family that owns it is very nice. read more

It is what it is. Cheap, really fast. I live a few block past Eliot and 69th Street and one time Fresca delivered in 11 minutes (I timed it because I am like that). So I mean, you tell me. The food is fine. The one thing that really is very good are the smaller tortillas which they use for the tacos and enchiladas, these appear to be home-made. read more

Been coming here for a while and the food & service is awesome. Not sure why other yelpers would review otherwise. Our favorite is their chicken, steak and cheese quesadillas. Buffalo wings is very good too. Not too dry at all. It's a simple take out/sit down non fancy but comfy place read more

I hate to give this a bad rating since it seems family owned, but they messed up my order. And it was only nachos! Ambiance is very casual. Prices typical for the market. The food is not better than average, but not worse. read more

Worst place ever order from. They delivered after four minutes after the order. Everything was old and microwaved. A true waste of money.

If I could give it less stars I would. We ordered based on the great reviews on door dash. Like 5x 1000+ reviews good. First it was 45 minutes late. Fine we'll get over that. Then I noticed the guacamole was brown and there were no chips. I thought maybe the first layer browned but nope, it was the whole thing. Not only that but there was no flavor whatsoever. Like no salt, no spice, NOTHING. I started to unpack the rest and not knowing what my husband had ordered I gave him my chimichanga which not only looked nothing like one, but tasted nothing like one. It was DRY. it was chicken in a wrap with cheese melted on top. No flavor yet again. Even the rice and beans on the side were dry. So dry they'd stuck to the foiled container. My husband's burrito was so hard that when a chunk of rice fell out I heard it. How can it be that hard? That flavorless? What is going on? The wings were ok and I guess the celery was fresh but like why? I don't know how they serve this as food. I'm 7 months pregnant and was looking forward to the heartburn this would give me but I'm just hungry and disappointed. read more

This place is horrible... I ordered a Mex Chicken and Rice and the portion of chicken was half the amount you would usually get at other restaurants. Below average Mexican food and slow delivery.

the place is a bum! first of all i ordered buffalo chicken wings and they were horrible they were topped with Tabasco and they were nasty. Secondly the quesadilla was only with chicken when i ordered the one with ham, turkey, and chicken. Thirdly the guacamole on the enchiladas was brown instead of green, it shows that it was old and not freshly made. At the end when we revived the order we got a 'new' menu and it was renamed Fresca Tortilia Burger House. PS: the total of the order was $23 and we didn't get the 'home made iced tea' within the purchase of $20+ read more
