We love this family business. It can be pricey, but the food is always yummy, and the people are so friendly. It's clean and welcoming. Love the backyard and the decor, too. Try the coconut shrimp and the mojito!

A friend of mine introduced this place to me not too long ago. She raved so much about the tostadas. I've had other tostadas before, I thought "how great could these be". SHE WASNT LYING! My mouth is salivating just thinking about this place, haha! Best tacos, tostadas, chips and guac, quesadillas, the crispiest coconut shrimp in the area. You can't go wrong with anything honestly....

I met a friend here for a weekday lunch. Their outdoor patio in the back is surprisingly spacious, and we had it all to ourselves this given summer day. Even though we were the only ones there, the wait staff was very attentive! Definitely go for the guac. They make it table side, and it was delicious. The menu is surprisingly huge. It was hard to pick what to get. Go for the tacos so you can try a variety! They do not skimp on size. They checked our vaccine cards, too, which I feel like other establishments are less consistent about.

Cute place with great music they have nice backyard too. It is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Point blank the best. For its freshness , consistency in the quality of flavors and service. Love it here.

Walked into this establishment just because we were in the area and wanted tacos, it was completely empty by that meaning bo one was in there, it was decorated so nice. The young man who spoke to me at first was so calm and helpful It was 5 of us, we placed our orders which took a little while, had some shots ( $28 for 1 shot ) be mindful about that. The gauva frozen drinks wasn't all that. 15/20 min after our order came they were absolutely delicious, very authentic Mexican tacos, the hot sauce very spicy added that extra kick to it, the French fries was also delicious. The place is a small whole in the wall spot, but it worth every penny, drive, wait. Etc. Would be there again This coming weekend! Highly recommend this place.

I went here for Cinco de Mayo and it was busy, but we were able to get a seat outside. They had music which was a little loud but not to the point where you couldn't talk. Definitely very festive and good for big groups. There was a table of about 10 people which is probably why it took a while to get our order. we got chicken wings which were bit spicy in buffalo flavor, there were six pieces but I needed a cup of water to finish them. Then I got the shrimp taco, Carne Asada, and the chicken Al Pastor taco. my favorite was the shrimp it was very good service and the food was great. I'll try them out another day that isn't a holiday and see if the service is better the backyard looks like it will be great in the summer.

For as long as it took to prepare my food I was expecting my steak to be cooked. This place was not busy at all (maybe 2 people inside) so I'm not sure what took my food so long. Anyways when I received my food I noticed the aroma wasn't that great. Nonetheless based on the reviews I still had high expectations for this place. Welp, I placed my expectations too high on this place. Maybe because the place was empty the chef didn't feel like cooking today ? My burrito didn't have much flavor to it. It's smaller than your average burrito so I'm a bit confused why I ended up paying $15.00 for a burrito that said $13.50 on the menu. The steak tasted horrible. It was not cooked throughly. I can't say confidently that I would give this Resturant another shot

Authetic Mexican Food, Absolutely loved it. The place isn't big to accomodate a lot of guests but it was great. The Decorations made the place lively, Had Picture frames and Tequila bottles around. Food had a little spice to it, I loved their Aguas Frescas I got a Passionfruit one. The prices are a little up there but you get good food so Worth it for me! definitely coming back

For fish tacos , they used tilapia, not cod, cheaper fish in my opinion but pricey. The salsa were all super spicy , they don't even warn u when ordering. We asked for a regular salsa, no spice. They said they dont have any. So beware, esp if anyone os sensitive to spocy food. Service is ok, there were only 3 tables occupied. Third time here, always come out a bit disappointed each time. I don't think there will be a fourth.

Even though I don't usually like salmon, theirs is prepared so well that I actually enjoy it. Some of my personal favorites are the birria tacos, tortilla soup, and the wet burrito. The drinks are just as impressive, with a secret sangria recipe that's always a hit. My go to is the frozen watermelon margarita, refreshing and delicious every time. Starting with the Soft Scramble Egg Tostada, scrumptious is the right word! The eggs were perfectly soft and creamy and paired with that chili sauce it had just the right amount of heat to wake everything up. The Shrimp Ceviche was clean, bright and fresh, served with thick crispy tostadas to scoop it all up. The Chamoy Watermelon though? order it, full stop! Juicy watermelon cubes coated in chamoy, chili flakes and mint. Sweet, spicy, tangy and refreshing all at once. It's one of those dishes that sounds simple but completely delivers. The Chicken Milanesa was a solid protein forward dish. Beautifully golden and crispy with a light coleslaw on top that kept it from feeling too heavy. And the Chilaquiles were loaded and satisfying, topped with crema, cotija and scallions. The Vampiro cocktail has spicy tequila, house sangrita, hibiscus and grapefruit. It had everything I look for in a drink. Bold, a little spicy and so well balanced. Couldn't have chosen better!

But anyway, there I was sitting on the patio next to these fake-looking potted plants, staring at my drink and looking at Metropolitan traffic. My Red Sangria came in this tall glass with a slice of orange stuck on top, looking all fancy, and it had a bunch of chopped-up fruit floating around at the bottom that you couldn't actually reach without making a total mess, but to be fair, it wasn't half bad. It was cold and fruity and kept me from having to talk to anybody for a few minutes. Then came the "Tacos Entraña." That's skirt steak, if you're not trying to sound like you're from somewhere, somewhere, where its like common and stuff. They serve three of them on this wooden board because apparently regular plates aren't stable enough for many Mexican restaurants anymore. They were absolutely smothered in this white crema stuff, cilantro, and chopped onions. I'll admit, though, the meat actually tasted pretty damn good. It was thick, properly charred. I go into these new pop-ups expecting the whole food fusion thing to be a total fraud, and then the food actually turns out to be quite excellent and not too expensive. I had a great waiter who made the whole lunching experience feel effortless. I lefy feeling taken care of, without ever feeling like I was part of someone else's performance.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting--dim lighting paired with low Spanish music playing in the background. We sampled three different drinks throughout the meal, and all were excellent: White Sangria (First Place): Exceptionally refreshing and smooth--the standout drink of the night. Frozen Margarita (Second Place): Perfectly blended with a delicious, smooth, slushy consistency. Red Sangria (Third Place): Very enjoyable, though slightly outshined by the other two. It's worth noting that Klan Destino offers two distinct menus--one Mexican and one Argentinian. We ordered entirely from the Argentinian side, and the kitchen delivered on all fronts. For appetizers we ordered Burrata Klandestina which is a unique spin compared to traditional Italian burrata. It was well-executed, served alongside a fresh salad and flavorful prosciutto. Our main course was Asado Klandestino Pura Vaca - For Two. The highlight of the meal which was packed with an outstanding selection of meats. The portion was huge and we couldn't finish it all.
