Upon arriving home, the grilled meat was delicious and plentiful. There was enough for left overs as the meat was folded in half in the tin. I am looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

I think her name was Ruby but she was patient as I tried to figure out what I wanted. I decided to get the tostado with grill chicken, veggies, bank beans, pico de gallo, cheese with mango and chipotle sauce. OMG, the dish was so freaking good. The bits of fresh mango really went well with the other ingredients. I didn't think the dish would be hearty but it was and I was very satisfied. I returned and ordered the same item but this time ordered the honey chipotle which was also good. Prices are reasonable for the area. This will be one of my go to spots in my neighborhood.

For food, my group stuck with the beef, opting for the birria and NY strip steak tacos. Both were very tasty, and made even better with the spicy housemade salsas. The drinks may have been the highlight. I recommend the Volcan in particular. It's a very cessionable and refreshing summery mezcal drink, that could charm even the non-mezcal crowd. I also appreciated that they made a special tiny cheese quesadilla for my one-year old. The bill was high enough that it made me double check the math, and I wish that the taco dishes came with some type of side for $20+ a pop, but overall, Ayy Chihuahua is good enough that I'd come back again, at least for another round of drinks.
