She was able to get me in same day as a new patient. I liked that all the paperwork was sent to me before I got to the office so it made my visit more efficient. Be careful with this place. They confirmed that the fee was removed due to it being charged incorrectly, which was a lie. They left it in my account as an outstanding balance and sold it to debt collectors. I wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemies! read more

I've had really great experiences at Parmer Family & Cosmetic Dentistry! I see them for my cleanings every 6 months. I recently incurred a minor chip on my front tooth and I was apprehensive about fixing it. The doc made me feel comfortable, filled it in 15 minutes and it looks absolutely amazing! I went in for a routine cleaning and I was amazed at how quickly I was out of there! I think I was there 15 minutes tops, including filling out paperwork. They were able to get my insurance information prior to the appointment which made it more efficient. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Habibzadeh, Victoria his office manager and the entire staff. They are all so friendly and patient with me and all of my questions. I have been there 4 times and each time is a very good experience. My first visit was to get a second opinion about a crown and root canal recommended by another dentist. I have to say, I HATE going to the dentist but the staff here has made my visit as best at it could be for going to the dentist ha ha. Everyone was very sweet, knowledgeable, and had smiles on their faces. Not to mention I literally have high anxiety, the dentist was very understanding, patient, and made my experience as comforting as he could. I've never had dentist through out my extraction procedure constantly ask me if I was doing OK, kept checking on how I was feeling during the process and kept being encouraging through out the process to make sure I felt comfortable, he was very mindful of my nerves when most dentist would probably have been irritated. I am so thankful to have found this dental practice! I had been experiencing pain with two of my molars, so my husband called around to find an office that would see me ASAP following work. I was able to be seen that same evening! I've been back four times since my first exam. On my way to one appointment there was an accident that caused me to run over an hour late... I was the last patient of the day, and Dr. H and his staff waited patiently for me! I've had a deep cleaning, x-rays, regular cleaning, 5 cavities filled and two veneers fixed. I have been to Parmer Family Dental to see Dr. H. several times now. I love him and his staff. Even though I am chronically late they still take me in. They didn't try to up sell me anything. They explained my insurance payments and deductibles and made suggestions on how to prioritize my multiple dental needs over several months. Dr. H. Is very soft spoken and truly cares about your thoughts and comfort. Plus, the Novocaine injections barely hurt at all! They even have coffee and snacks in the waiting room. But usually I can barely sit down before they are calling me back. He uses newer equipment with cameras and everything. I just left his office today. One more treatment to go. read more

I woke up with searing pain this morning, and saw that I had an abscess over my wisdom tooth. It is the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. I googled to see which dentist office was open, and found Parmer Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. I called and was able to schedule a last minute appointment, despite them being double booked and at the end of their day. The office assistant was so pleasant on the phone when she took my information and was just as warm and welcoming, when I arrived. The Dental Assistant and Dentist, both also welcomed me with warm smiles and handshakes. Any fear I had of the dentists chair was zapped, the moment I walked in and was greeted with such kindness. My appointment was quick. The office has wonderful technology, from initial check in, to the flat screen tv's while you sit in the chair. I can not thank this staff enough, for their kindness in getting me in today. They saved me a lot of pain this weekend! I will be sure to recommend this dentists office to everyone. Sure was happy to find Parmer Family & Cosmetic Dentistry 2 days before Christmas 2014, when I cracked a crown on a very sensitive molar. Ouch! They got me in right away. I just wanted the damn thing yanked, but Dr. Z convinced me it was a keeper and put on a temporary crown, which killed the pain ASAP. And they got my new crown in and on ASAP. They also recommended a night guard since I just love to while away the wee hours grinding away at my pearly whites. When I explained I had poor luck with a badly fitted one before, they fixed me up with a softer, more comfortable one that they worked to make fit Just Right. I'm amazed at the difference in my TMJ already! Very focused on their patient satisfaction! Their front office is also very efficient, professional and friendly (important to me, since that's one of the main reasons I fired my previous dentist.) Since then I've gone back for a thorough check up, x-rays and cleaning. Highly recommend this dentist and his staff. read more

Overview: Best dental experience and great first time experience with Dr. H, highly attentive to patient needs and knowledgeable, warm and friendly staff, clean/organized clinic, prompt (greeted and checked in right away, fast electronic paperwork and called in shortly after my actual appointment time) I recently visited Parmer Family and Cosmetic Dentistry to have my teeth whitened and had a great experience! I came across Dr. H's practice through a groupon Zoom Whitening special ($104 QuickPro Zoom! Treatment) and had many questions going into my visit. Dr. H and his staff were very professional, made me feel welcome and were very patient in answering all of my questions. My greatest concern going into my appointment was determining how effective the teeth whitening would be given my teeth are only slightly yellow and sensitive. Dr. H was very caring and took his time examining my teeth and actually recommended an alternative to Zoom!, suggesting instead that I use take home trays to achieve the results I desired. I greatly appreciated his honesty and him being straightforward in admitting the Zoom! Whitening was not a good treatment for me. Since I don't live in Austin, Dr. H actually stayed after clinic closing hours making my take home trays so that I could take them home that same day and he also honored the $104 price for me (even though take home whitening trays are more expensive.) I really can't say enough about how professional and attentive to my needs Dr. H and his staff were. I felt truly valued and cared for as a patient. Best dental experience. read more

On an evening I scheduled a new patient appt online, for an evening appt that was showing available to be booked for the next evening. After booking the office called to say that appt was not available (even though we were able to click on it & book it) because the dr was trying to go out of town the next day. The girl said she would talk to the dr & call back. She called me back to say if we wanted to come right then we could, so we did. Mind you it was already 730pm when they called to tell us to come then. They took me back, did their stuff & informed me a tooth needed to be pulled right away & they could do it right then if we would like. So I agreed & they began to prep me for it. Then just before beginning the procedure (now right at 8pm) the dr stops & says on second thought after relooking at the xrays he'd rather me go to an oral surgeon to have the tooth pulled due to the way the roots were. This after he had already reviewed the xrays, after he'd already said he could do the procedure & do it right then if we wanted, & after he already prepped me for it. Seems to me he just decided on a whim that it was too detailed or lengthy of or too involved of a procedure to take on at that time of night, after they had told us to come at at that time, the night before he was wanting to go out of town. They post about "patient care" and "patient courtesy" on their website but they certainly do not practice it. They let a patient walk out in excruiating pain, that had been in this pain for a week, after they had said, agreed, & prepped the patient for the procedure that could've ended a patients pain & suffering. Is that really patient care/courtesy? Is that really the best thing for the patient or for the dr? I'll be sure to spread the word about this & I'm involved in the medical field so it will get out. read more

I remember growing up how much I hated going to the dentist... all of the poking, scraping and the awful gritty toothpaste was unpleasant and I would avoid it at all costs. Well, now I am happy to say that I actually enjoy going to the dentist because of Parmer Family and Cosmetic Dentistry! I've been about four times now and have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be taken into the back. They have Netflix and Hulu accounts and allow you to put on your favorite show while having your teeth cleaned (they even put it over the chair so while you are laying back you can watch)! The cleaning process is really quick and pain-free. Sometimes the doctor will even take before and after photos to show the difference in your teeth after the cleaning. It always amazes me how I am in and out of my appointment in less than 30 minutes! And to top it off, the receptionist and dental assistants are always really nice and pleasant. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking for a dentist! read more

i took my 82 year old mother for a dental check up and just the night before her bottom partial started pinching her to the point she was bleeding. Dr. H saw her and was so patient and understanding.
