Well, let me just say "Wow!" This is one of the best doughnut experiences ever. We love a good doughnut and this was just amazing. Lots of choices, oversized and overstuffed, fluffy and still crispy dough, all served with a smile and in a cute and classic atmosphere. The coffee is dark and there are a few food items that round out the menu. If this place was in a big city, the line would be out the door. But then you might not get the one-on-one service they provide. The workers engage and encourage the customers to let their inner kid out when making doughnut selections. This is a destination stop for any dough-nuts out there! Fantastic!

Enjoyed some scrumptious doughnuts today at Parlor Doughnuts in their Lancaster, PA location. Inside is moderately big with a few tables for indoor seating. This modern cafe gives off a very bright and cozy feel. Its decor is very minimalistic, at the same time, stylish with its star patterned floor. Ambiance rate 7/10. I ordered half a dozen donuts consisting of... 1. Peanut Butter Cup: This tasted delicious! It had a strong peanut butter chocolate flavor which I loved! Rate 8/10. 2. Chocolate Chocolate: This chocolate glazed topped with chocolate chips tasted very rich. However, I'm not a huge chocolate fan, so the overkill on chocolate was too sweet for me. Rate 6/10. 3. French Toast: This was mediocre considering I barely tasted the maple syrup which was disappointing. It tasted very similar to the Sandy Beach doughnut. Rate 5/10. 4. Turtle Cheesecake: This donut had a great mix of flavors, from the chocolate to the cheesecake! It all blended great together! Rate 9/10. 5. Sandy Beach: This was also mediocre because the cinnamon flavor was very light. It tasted very similar to the French Toast Doughnut. Rate 5/10. 6. Raspberry Jelly Filled: This was incredible! The jelly had a yummy taste that wasn't too sweet! Rate 8/10. *I love the style of how the doughnuts were made. Its flaky, layered dough resembles a croissant that was incorporated into a donut. Aside from its sweet flavors, the way it was baked is what makes it delicious and unique.* The staff were nice and the service was relatively quick. Service/staff Rate: 7/10. Overall, Parlor Doughnuts was a great first experience, and I would definitely recommend others to try it!

Wow. This place is awesome To start off with I DO NOT like yeast donuts. Very rare for me to find one I do like. These ones are layered like a croissant and insanely soft in the middle. Don't be scared by the size, they're not as heavy as you'd think The options are amazing. Made my adhd haywire. Luckily the girl working the register was very polite, gave great recommendations and patient with me It's a basic interior in a shopping plaza and very family friendly because what family doesn't love donuts

So so so good! We came into the shop last week after a visit at Dutch. We came around 8am and the case was fully stocked of so many delicious flavors. They all looked amazing. We were behind one other couple but the service was so fast and friendly. The donuts or huge croissant masterpieces were about $3.50 a piece if memory serves me correctly. It was a little cheaper to buy a dozen and see are not local so we opted to try a bunch. See pic. We appreciated the ones labeled favorite so we were sure to try those. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich on their unglazed donut aka croissant and a coffee. The coffee wasn't very good and I could have passed on it. Wasn't very sweet and lacked pumpkin flavor (ordered the pumpkin latte). The breakfast sandwich was very good but the donut was really buttery/greasy and felt a little "yucky" on the last few bites. Still very good though. The donuts are the winner esp because we couldn't eat a whole dozen but they stayed fresh so long! We brought them home and they were good at least 5 days past the day as bought them. Still just as yummy and flaky. Even though they're huge they are light and airy. The flavors were delicious. Not too rich. My fav was the jelly. The powder and jam inside were awesome. I would have loved more. The ones with filling (other than jelly) were our least favorite. They were just too messy and didn't last as long. We ate inside and enjoyed the quiet ambiance and clean space. Lots of merch to purchase too. Would love to go back when in the area.

Lancaster is way out there; I live way over here. There's distance. That's safe. I have worked really hard to less big my back and this place would really work against that. The problem is, it's so dang good. This is one of the best donuts I have ever had. I have crossed the country seeking good donuts and this is place is definitely top of the leader board. Just the creative combinations can be overwhelming. Mostly to your taste buds. HOW DO I CHOOSE??? I'll take them all. I will say, I walked in and the cases were mostly empty and my heart sank, but the lovely young lady behind the counter speaks up and says, "No, we have them all available still, they'll just be brought from the back". Happy happy happy. These things are amazing. The service is great. The space is lovely. Yes lovely. Don't drive here; jog there, walk home, earn the carbs.

Super cute place with delicious and beautiful doughnuts. The layered doughnuts are crispy on the outside and soft in the inside even days after. My favorites were any with chocolate toppings. The others are good as well but the flavors are just not as strong that the doughnuts could taste bland if the bite doesn't have enough of the toppings on it. They also have good drinks. Was able to try the matcha and the lavender latter. So good. Will be returning when I visit Lancaster again.

First Parlor Doughnuts franchise in PA! Cute location conveniently located on Route 30 and providing ample parking for locals and visitors alike. My family and I visited on a busy Saturday when "free doughnut" coupons were offered, but the staff kept the line moving! I tried the "low carb" keto-friendly cinnamon-sugar doughnut, which they say is 3g net carbs -- perfectly sized and so good it had me wondering if it really *was* low carb/low sugar! Perfectly paired with the house coffee I tried (and which you can purchase by the bag to take home and enjoy). The hubs enjoyed a sandy beach -- he was all-in on the multiple layers of fried goodness. The vanilla icing and cinnamon/sugar dusting hit the spot for him. And the kiddo really liked her cookies & cream. The pup is still giving me dirty looks for not getting him a doggie doughnut to enjoy. Next time, pup. Next time. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside at tables with umbrellas (which helps with the heat!), but we took our goodies to go since the crowd was so large. Will have to try them out during the week -- I noticed they have savvy breakfast items too! The menu listed breakfast tacos (avocado, chorizo, and bacon options), avo toast, acai bowls, spinach pesto, and I'm interested in trying their cold brew coffee and different latte flavors. Still lots to explore, but it's definitely worth checking out if you haven't already! It's far and away better than some of the other breakfast options on Rt. 30.

Stopped here early on a Saturday morning. We were greeted right away when we walked in. The atmosphere is nice bright with modern black and white decor. There are several tables to eat inside. We both had a coconut cream donut. The donut was fresh, filled with coconut cream with whipped cream and toasted coconut on top. It was very good.

My wife and I were visiting the area from Florida and decided we wanted to get some donuts to with our evening coffee. We drove about 15 minutes from the place we were staying at since they showed a huge variety of donuts on their website and they all seemed delicious. Well we weren't disappointed at all! They had about 30 different donuts to choose from, they seem to rotate regularly since the website showed dozens of choices. The restaurant was spacious and welcoming and decorated in some old WWI pics and memorabilia. We got 4 donuts, a peanut butter one, a double chocolate one, a bacon maple glazed, and glazed one. They tasted heavenly and you can taste all ingredients in these donuts. Thankfully we would be leaving in two days because if we would have found this place sooner we would have gone everyday and would have gained 50 pounds! If you're in the Lancaster PA area do yourself a favor and stop by this donut mecca for a spiritual culinary experience!

Apparently this place is a chain but don't, for a second, let that fool you. These may have been the best donuts I've had in my life. If you are a fan of the "light" texture of cro-nuts you will probably love these even more. We got 6 different flavors and they were all phenomenal. If I'm ever back in Lancaster I will make it a point to get some donuts here again! read more

very fun folksy and hipster doughnut spot in a little plaza off main drag in Lancaster. They also have some non doughnut bfast options which is great too. This box of doughnuts was the biggest i've ever seen! Service was friendly but maybe slightly slow - i watched a few others get their orders before our meals but maybe we had more complications? At any rate, both egg sandwich and the doughnuts were delicious - moist and kind of stretchy & chewy dough which i like with a crisp/fried quality to the outside. They are fairly expensive but it's an experience! I'll also add the decor was great and the place was very clean! read more

If you're looking for the best doughnuts on the planet (and most unique), I suggest Parlor! I loved my turtle cheesecake layered doughnut. It's kind of like a cross between a croissant and a traditional cinnamon sugar-rolled doughnut/beignet. The cold brew was just alright. I can't wait to go try their seasonal fall menu! read more

Ok, here's a riddle, if Crispy Cream and Cronut had a baby what would you call it? A Parlor Doughnut! Outstanding crispy outside light fluffy inside and as far as I'm concerned probably the best raspberry jelly doughnut I have ever had! Unfortunately I was there too late and we got the Smores Doughnut and the Raspberry Jelly Doughnut and both were absolutely delicious. I will be back tomorrow morning. The service was friendly and inviting but I got there four minutes before closing so the menu was minimal. See you tomorrow. Do not pass this gem up. Forget Amish breakfast at least one day and go to Parlor Doughnuts in Lancaster. The absolute best! read more

Incredible find. Donuts are light and a layered approach to flavor recipe that is 'next level'. May even surpass other top notch- Beilers by a bite. Parlor did not have as many flavors as the other county competition, but that wasn't an issue. Somehow less greasy at the outer layer (since they are fried) and I felt like I could eat more than 1 and still enjoy 2-4 as much. Light but admittedly, still very sweet. read more

Taste of the donuts is excellent. They are grossly overpriced. The sign above the glass enclosure that says "START HERE" is worthless as you order from the registers that are signed "PAY HERE". We stood waiting and watching people skip the obvious line and jump those of us following the signage. Next time, use the order online function. read more

These are by far the best donuts I have had. Not typical. More like a cronut but the minis have more filling than your typical Dunkin these days. Plus taste fresh not like chemicals! The service here is a 12 out of 10. I was in on a Saturday around 3. I wanted to try some minis and they only had a couple left. The manager made them fresh while I waited. Beyond nice and thoughtful. We were visiting from VA but when back in area we will be back. Try then. You will be hooked!! read more

I consider myself a true donut connoisseur. I've eaten fractured prune, duck donuts, yum donuts, maple donuts, Dunkin' Donuts, Suzy Jo donuts, shady maple donuts, Achenbachs donuts, brûlées donuts and donuts all throughout the world. This is the best donut bar none. I don'T know how they get that airiness in the donuts. The closest thing I can compare it to is a cronut from Domenic ansels bakery. Do yourselves a favor go grab a box of these delicious donuts. I've had almost all of them now and I have to admit I can't pick a favorite. Everytime I try a new one I think this is my favorite. I will say the pumpkin chai latte donut was next level. But damn that strawberry shortcake was also that good or wait maybe the French toast was the best. Regardless whatever you choose you'll be glad you did. read more

Doughnuts are very good. The service was ok to start with but when it came to getting our coffees, the clerk said someone will get them soon. She left and we were left standing at the counter. Eventually, someone asked if we needed anything and we told them our coffees. Apparently, the clerk decided to leave and told no one. We were taken generously taken care of by others. Highly recommend doughnuts, they are delicious. Coffee was good too. read more

We stopped in here on a whim! We are from MD but came up to PA for the day. What a fun atmosphere. Staff was super friendly. Donuts were spot on delicious!! Love all the flavors! Definitely worth the stop! Next time we are in town we will be back! Even brought home a few for friends! read more

I was at this location for work before they opened. I have to say that Drew made me a mocha espresso and it was amazing. I don't think I've tried any coffee better. He is also a very upbeat and kind person. I really enjoyed our interaction. I also can't wait to go in and try some of the locations amazing donuts. read more

I stopped by here last Tuesday morning with my family for our morning coffee. We chose this spot simply because we passed it several times during our vacation, as it sits right off Route 30. I headed inside while my family stayed in the car. Although I knew the building was fairly large, I was not expecting just how many tables and seats were available. From that standpoint, it felt much more like a sit down restaurant than the coffee shop I was anticipating. That said, they did have a designated area for ordering to go, which is where I headed. After looking over their winter specials, I tried to order something with peppermint for my wife. Unfortunately, they were out of peppermint syrup, which was also what I would have ordered for myself. I ended up getting my wife an iced mocha while I went with a hot coconut latte. My coffee ended up being decent. The coconut syrup was easy to taste, but it did not overpower the coffee itself. My wife's drink looked good with whipped cream and crushed peppermint on top, as they still had that available, but she was unable to drink it due to a stomach bug. The bottom line for me is that I might head back here again in the future. While I do not know that I would go out of my way just for coffee, it seemed like a nice place for a sit down meal.

The pastries are excellent; the problem lies with the coffee. It's highly variable. Every time I've visited, I've ordered the same coffee, and it's never the same. The last time I ordered coffee, it was the finest coffee I'd ever had; after that, it was always something distinct.
