This place is great! I've been here twice for repairs. The service is great! The workers are very kind and they called frequently with updates. Also, there is a tracking system that send text message updates that you were able to also follow the progress of your repair. They really just make the whole process easy and a lot of insurance companies work with them. Horrible experience. My CRV is worse off than before. They did the cheapest possible job you can imagine. They lied numerous times saying oem parts when they weren't. They even put used parts. They left wires dangling and said it came in like that. They will take the job if it's insurance related even if they have to out source some work and not inform you. When it did come time to pick up the truck it didn't even start. Had to jump start battery to leave the premises. They had my CRV for 3 weeks because they couldn't figure out how to rig and make cheap parts fit. Even though it didn't fit they made it fit. My truck will NEVER be the same again. I needed 2 rubber wheel moldings replaced on a Ford Explorer . Parkway Auto Body wanted $ 350 each, + labor/tax for a total of $ 2300 . they also wanted to keep my Explorer for 8 days. they never ordered the parts, and 6 weeks later I moved on. my Ford dealership replaced the 2 moldings at $ 99 each, and $ 149 labor + tax for a total of $ 386.00. Parkway Auto Body are criminals ! they were also adamant that we go thru insurance. very shady business. I'll never go there again ! read more

Was referred by insurance here after I was rear ended. The service is good. They are responsive and quick. The auto body work done on the damage was good too! HOWEVER... I had another issue with a front tire and was told by them that I should submit it to insurance because it could be upward to $1,000 to fix... I said no thanks, got the car back, took it to Volkswagen and the repairs are at the most are $300 ....shady. If you get referred here by your insurance company just have them take care of the immediate issues but I wouldn't trust them on anything else. read more

I was referred to this place by my insurance company. They seemed so friendly and looked like they know their business. They really fixed the damages to my car with good time. They were fast... Too fast! They even said that they finish their work before deadline. I was impressed by their work. However, I had to return because of some minor flaws. A misaligned trunk lid and it leaked into the trunk after while it rained.... Nothing major really. They gladly took the car and promised to repair according to their warranty. I went to pick up my car and I found a disgusting dirty mess. They placed the trunks lining on top of my car roof and they created deep scratches... A lot of them. I refused to take the car back and they promised to make things right. They promised me to repair all scratches including any old ones and dents. Basically told me my car would look flawless. Well they fixed what they damaged and washed.... But everything else is still there. They do great work but are sloppy and sloppy isn't acceptable. I won't go back besides for warranty work. Beware folks I also believe they are a bit shady with pricing. I also plan to call my insurance company and complain and encourage no to do business with them anymore. read more

They were great about towing my poorly damaged car promptly in order to assess the damage as soon as possible, and once they were aware that the car was a total loss they communicated this immediately to my insurance rep who then informed me. The fix is in... but it's not the fix you want! After a fender bender, Travelers auto insurance pushed me to this place, saying it was part of their "Concierge" service. Basically, the idea is that they are a body shop that has Travelers staff right on site. Travelers assesses the car, writes you an estimate, and Parkway fixes the car based on that estimate. Supposedly easier than having an appraisal by the insurance guy, then going to a separate body shop for an estimate. I believed them, at first. But pretty quickly the scam was revealed to me. If the body shop and insurance company are in cahoots, where is the oversight on either?! I was put in the office, speaking on their phone to ANOTHER Travelers rep, while the Parkway/Travelers guy looked at my car. When he came back in, about ten minutes later, I stressed that my car was still under warranty, and that I would likely need some OEM parts in order to keep it under warranty. They told me the car was drivable, and that they'd be emailing me the appraisal/estimate soon. They emailed me the appraisal/estimate pretty quickly. Full of aftermarket parts. I had a pre-scheduled appointment that week with my dealership for an oil change, and they looked at the damage and the insurance appraisal. They informed me that my headlight was non-functional, and that I could be ticketed for that. They also let me know that the aftermarket headlamp quoted on the estimate wouldn't match my existing VW headlamp. I, of course, immediately asked Parkway/Travelers a lot of questions. Why didn't they tell me the headlight was out? Why are they quoting a non-matching part? What is the cost to me if I ask them to use all OEM parts? They didn't answer my email for two weeks. When they did finally answer (only after I complained repeatedly directly to Travelers) their responses were vague and not useful. For example, in response to my headlight being out, he answered "headlight will be repaired." I had asked if they were a VW Certified Repair Shop, and he answered "we are state certified." It was like he was going out of his way to misunderstand my questions. I emailed for clarification, but have not heard back. In my conversations with the Travelers main NJ office, they have defended Parkway (they suggested my headlight broke after Parkway had evaluated the car) and repeatedly tried to steer me toward fixing the car as soon as possible, regardless of the fact that I haven't been given an answer on whether Travelers will cover a matching OEM headlamp, or what the price differential would be at Parkway if I asked for all OEM parts. They are just push push push. And Parkway gets the benefit of it. This is an unprofessional way to run an auto body shop, and a despicable way for an insurance company to treat customers. Avoid Parkway Auto Body at all costs, especially if you are a Travelers customer! read more

seemed all modern and state of the art, but took forever to fix my rear and didn't even fix it properly -- left my trailing arm rear suspension by exhaust BENT, resulting in a frighteningly wobbly ride I now call my BOAT. The best thing that came out of this whole unpleasant experience is choosing this auto body shop for my car's repair. I got into a car accident that has gotten so complicated because nobody wants to take financial responsibility for something that I did not even caused. Thankfully, Parkway has been a blessing and guided me through steps to take leading to the release of my car. I have been given a run around by both my and the other guys insurance companies, and out of sheer frustration and stress I was willing to just pay the bill and put it behind the past but Parkway didn't want my money, they didn't believe that a person who has not a single thing to do with the accident has to take liability. That proves to me that Parkway only didn't care about getting their money, they cared greatly enough for their clients that they made sure everything that needs to be done so that payment will be made by whoever needs to pay it. Regarding the repair itself, I couldn't be any happier with the result. Everything looks brand new. They even cleaned the interior of my car, did minor detailing for free and left me with a touch up paint for future use. My car is no luxury but Parkway autobody recognize the importance of it and treats their customer like a person not just a number. read more

Brought my car In for lower front bumper repair. I hit one of those 6" cement dividers in parking lots. It cracked my lower bumper and popped the clips off the side attachment to the car. I brought my car to my usual place and was quoted 750 without a new bumper and 1300 with a new bumper. Problem was they couldn't get to it for 3 weeks. Parkway sent a guy out who immediately started to pull my bumper off. I had to tell him to stop making it worse. He then said the bumper would have to be replaced at a cost of 1500 to 1700 and their might be more costs. I told him forget it. I had the bumper fixed with finding extra bent metal that held the lower bumper had it done in 3 days at a cost of $1050 Ha ha ha no new bumper needed read more

Run away as fast as you can from Parkway Autobody. It is because of a business like this that insurance premiums are so high. Parkway Autobody is a total scam shop, their only goal is to skim money out of the insurance companies without any connection to the actual repair work needed. In my case, the car was rear ended and needed a new bumper. To my shock, they came up with an estimate of around $9000 which was 300% of the actual needed. As a result of their inflated estimate the insurance wanted to "total" my car. Parkway autobody even tried to force me to just sign over my cars papers to them. When I reached their facility they had already stripped out the rubber tubing in places not related to the damage just to make it look like worse. I refused their repair, demanded my car back. I had to literally forcefully take my own car from their lot (shocking!). I ended up taking it to a smaller shop and they fixed it for $2700. Where do you think the insurance company will get the extra $6300 from - of course from other insurance customers, so everyone loses ! I am now reaching out to my lawyer for a lawsuit against Parkway Autobody. Stay away please from these guys, give some honest small business your money. read more

Awful experience years ago. My car got hit by lightning and the insurance company recommended these clowns. They couldn't figure out what was wrong. They attempted to return my car at one point (after months!) by bypassing the fuel cutoff (that stops the fuel in case of an accident, so you don't blow up!). Then when we brought this to their attention they denied it. Took three months to get my car back. I thought about contacting a lawyer but decided to just move on. I would NOT recommend these jerks. They were nasty, unprofessional con artists and worst of all, dangerous. read more

I waned just the estimate which i was not given a copy and told i needed to come back to pick it up. Then i was told to leave the car and they will fix it being that they were my insurance company tlc shop. All other reviews with 1 star are true! After repair at this body shop there are fitment issues, bumper keeps popping off even though they said it was replaced with an oem bumper. There's also paint overspray everywhere. You open the door and a ton of paint overspray in door jambs. Extremely poor job for what the insurance was charged. Very aggravating. read more
