Dave Park and his team did a great job with my new roof. The cost was in line with other estimates, in fact a couple thousand less and they were available to start pretty quickly. Everyday they cleaned up after themselves, were fast, and professional. I highly recommend Parkside roofing and have already referred them to family and friends. read more

Dave at Parkside Roofing was the first roofers to respond to my Yelp inquiry. We had so much rain in OC and I noticed a leak in the ceiling in our foyer. He sent someone out relatively quickly to give me an estimate because he knew I was afraid it would start raining again and I really wanted to get it fixed fast. I appreciated that so much! John, the Project Mgr, came out and had a cool drone that he sent up to take photos, John was courteous and after seeing what was up there and how the corners of the tiles were placed he knew exactly what the problem was and knew it was something Parkside could handle. He reassured me that he sees it a lot and he would submit the photos to Dave. I got a very fair estimate after all the quotes were received from other roofers. Dave estimated 2-3 weeks to come out, but a couple days later he notified me that he was able to squeeze me in at the beginning of the week and totally last minute, probably because my job was considered smaller and his team would be able to do it in one day. The team of guys came out and were so professional. They tried not to bother us and just started working. They were done the same day and I didn't even know it. I would've preferred they knock on the door and tell us they were done before leaving. We thought they went to lunch and just didn't come back. ha! They cleaned up after themselves and left everything the way it was when they arrived. Thanks Dave & John! I would recommend Parkside Roofing for anyone needing their roof fixed. read more

We made an appointment and John came out to inspect our roof to give us a quote. He was honest about what needed and didn't need to be done. We were able to get an appointment scheduled rather quickly. The crew arrived promptly and got the work done quickly and efficiently. John even came out the day the crew was working to make sure there were no problems. We had a follow up question after the project was done and John made time to come out again to make sure everything was done well and to make sure we had all our questions answered. Great work and service! Highly recommend them! read more

Excellent service and excellent work. The communication could not have been better. The crew were very professional. Highly recommend.

My family and I are totally satisfied with the quality of the workmanship. From getting permit from the city, to tear down and disposal, preparation before putting the roof shingles on, then install the shingles, also the final inspection, they finished the project in 7 days! Dave, the owner, offered a competitive price, and John, the project manager, always on top of everything, he went to the work site every working day to check on the progress and provided me an update if there's any changes. Also, he answered all my questions, he is knowledgeable to roof shingles and very responsive! Plus, luckily, the project was done right before the storm! I received three different quotes, and Parkside Roofing offered the most reasonable price for the maintenance and repair work I needed. Project Manager John was always accessible and easy to communicate with, and the crew was friendly, efficient, and delivered quality work. I would definitely hire them again. Thank you! read more

My family and I are pleased with the quality of work, pace in which the project was completed, level of communication and the provided customer service. Our roof was completed in a matter of days once our project was approved for permits from our city. First day was teardown and disposable, second day was bringing in material/repair/1st permit sign off/start roofing and the 3rd day was completion. The final permit sign off would've been sooner but our city doesn't have inspection on Fridays. So in all, the project started Wednesday 3/30 and ended 4/1 with final inspection on 4/4. That's so quick! With that being said, the project manager (John) was great to work with. He had everything organized and put a ton of effort and attentiveness into his craft. I will always recommend Parkside Roofing because they have the fairest price with high quality workmanship, great project manager and great staff. Thank you Parkside Roofing for the fantastic work! read more

These guys are the most honest people on business. Did not try to update me on anything or pressure me into getting a new roof. They came out , inspected and told me everything was fine and would be a waste of money if I got a new roof. Multiple other companies tried to sell me all the bells and whistles ,but. Or parkside . Thanks for being honest and looking forward to working with you in the future. read more

Parkside Roofing was very responsive to my request, and John (who came out to provide the estimate) was great. I had some slipped tiles on my roof, and the quote was very reasonable (actually less than I had budgeted for). Overall, I was really happy to have found this roofing company, and I would definitely use them again for any future roofing needs. Highly recommended! read more

I contacted Dave to replace the shingles on my house which were 30 years old at that point. Having never done such a project, I appreciated his professionalism and flexibility. The price was very reasonable vs my other quotes. John, the project lead, was exceptional in his communication and follow-up and even helped me with some other issues on the house outside of their project scope. They truly went above and beyond. Long story short, if you need anything done for your roof, go to Parkside Roofing period. read more

The new roof looks great. PSR completed a complete tear down and replacement of my 30+ year old roof. Dave and John were very good with communicating every aspect of the job. They honored a somewhat old estimate from before the crazy increase in lumber prices. Understandably there were some overages due to termites, but definitely less than expected, considering the age of the roof. Even with the overages, the price was extremely reasonable. The crew was super awesome and efficient. They cleaned up after every single day. You would not have known a roofing job was taken place. Recommend PSR for anyone in need of roof work! read more

You need roofing done? Go with Parkside Roofing. Have roofing questions? Ask them! We were interested in getting solar done (via SolarMax), and their inspection of our roof showed that our underlayment was brittle and some of our roof tiles were broken. They suggested we re-set our roof tiles and get new underlayment installed. The house we live in is 30+ years old, so it was understandable if the underlayment was on its last leg. But we wanted an outside opinion to make sure that was the right course of action. (Luckily, the tiles were in relatively good condition) Dave was awesome and inspected our roof. He confirmed the roof condition that SolarMax had also found. So we went forward with the recommendation of re-setting the tiles, installing new underlayment, and replacing any broken tiles. The project lasted a handful of days, and we are pleased with the result. Side Note: I picked up some old underlayment pieces they removed, and they literally crumbled in my hand. YIKES! So relieved we got that replaced! I'm so glad we did this before getting the solar panels installed, rather than dealing with possible issues/cracks/leaks after the fact. Parkside worked with the city to get everything inspected and cleared away, so that was convenient... especially since I have zero clues how to get that done. Dave, John and the Parkside crew were professional, courteous, and communicated with us every step of the way. Highly recommend Parkside Roofing! read more

We bought a fixer upper multi family property in old town seal beach in January and quickly realized after closing (in the middle of rainy season) that it needed a new roof after finding bad leaks in one of the units. Dave and his team were quick to meet me, provide an estimate, and then fit us into their schedule almost immediately. We had a new roof in less than four days and it looks fantastic. They cleaned up everyday and were mindful of the tenants that currently live at the property. They even agreed to return after finishing to install proper flashing/sealing for a vent that we added after they finished roof. Pricing was fair and there were no surprises in cost. read more

First I want to apolozie to owner Dave and John the field representative or estimator for not imputing my review earlier when the roof was fixed in October 3, 2023. I'm sorry. I have had very good results and good experiences using Yelp based on other reviews and it was a help to decide on Parkside roofing for my leak that was occurring at my kitchen window. I had to wait a few extra weeks because I was away for a while and later found out from John they do not prioritize jobs by the size and it is first come first served which is very fair. John comes over and it was a great connect with him because he is a very congenial person to talk to. What WOW me was he unfolded this mini drone with camera and sent it up to scope the section I was having the problem with. He mentioned a couple of possible causes for the rain water to seep in but I think during the repair day it was found that the plywood had wood rot I think and that because the of age of the roofing paper that was changed also along with the plywood. I have to mention here the (3) man crew was like the first roofer that came out two months prior but all they did was just focus on changing out the roof tiles. What was similar was there was a language barrier both times but with Dave & John's people there was another lead person that I could talk to on the cellphone but I just waved it off as I already told John in our first meet I just wanted the leak to stop. Along the way that day someone was texting me with what the "lead" person at my house had found to be the problem and that they needed to add the cost of a piece of plywood to the quoted cost to which I agreed. The two to three month delays was from me wanting to wait for some good rain to confirm there was no more leak but I also needed the person to come in behind the roof repair to replace a section of the drywall. After this long story there was no more leaking at the same spot and the roof was repaired finally. The reason why I can recommend Parkside roofing is 1) customer service is good and 2) the crew and the "lead" person knows how do roofing and do it throughly on his own. I told John when I have my house painted by May of this year I am calling him again to get a visual with his mini drone on the roof tiles where the painters having to step onto the tile roof to paint parts of the house. read more

Parkside Roofing was great! We had a leak in our roof after all of the rains and they had someone out to check it out within days of our request. They were also the only ones who used a drone to inspect our tile roof closer. The work was done very quickly and left no trace of them being there. Best part is, the leak was fixed correctly the first time!!! read more

Parkside did a great job replacing our old, worn out roof. They handled all permits with the city, we didn't have to get involved at all. Parkside Roofing did a great job with a complete tear-off and replace for me in October, including a torch-down for our patio cover. Since I know pretty much nothing about home repair, I appreciate that Dave and John communicated throughout the whole process to both answer my questions and assure me there was little I had to do except choose the shingles and prepare for some noise. The working crew was very professional and cleaned up the dirt and debris as much as I could have hoped for. Additional work to cosmetically fix the roof sag was left up to me, not pushed upon me, despite the extra cost. John personally came out by himself to install a rain diverter as well, after the job was already done. All of this during the worst heat I've experienced in LA county since '06. My thanks to the entire team for their hard work! read more

Quick. Efficient. Professional. Courteous. What more could you ask for? The folks over at Parkside Roofing were fast to respond and even faster to act. We'd had a pretty gnarly leak during some recent rain and, once we'd explained the issue, they identified the problem and had it resolved promptly. I contacted these guys for roof repair. A small job that an appraiser already said would be a small repair and small cost. David Park comes out, flys his little drone around the roof to look techy cool, but never pulls a ladder out to go up on the roof and actually identify where the actual leak is. Never asked to go into the house to see the leak from the inside. Then he just insults the company who put the roof up previously saying, "I can't believe they did that or that and did that, they did that wrong etc!" Then he says he will speak with the Foreman and send me an estimate. Several days later I get an email with an estimate for a whole roof replacement!!! And his email says if you have any questions let me know. I email him asking him to confirm if he really sent me an estimate for a whole roof repair and he never responds. I guess if you ask them to come out, they will just give you a quote for a whole roof repair! Give me a break! read more

Fast, honest, & professional! Parkside sent an inspector out asap to quote our roof replacement! They were the first to respond, the communication was excellent, and we had a detailed, honest quote within 24 hours. My detached garage had a leak that I patched and I know it's about time to replace the main roof since it was reroofed over 15 years ago. So I called Parkside Roofing who immediately responded to my request for a free inspection. John came out and spent a lot of time pointing out "creative" fixes that had been done to my roof and fascia over the years. He used a drone fly-over and was able to show me on the screen the flashings that had been installed to divert rainwater and explained why some of them were either unnecessary or not effective. He also located a vent where the edges were beginning to lift up and a Verizon line recently installed that had been attached through a pole that was anchored above instead of under the shingles. He suggested that I patch both of those areas before the next rainy season (which I have since done). He said that the fascia boards that are pulling away are because incorrect wood was used. He also explained that because I have the maximum two layers of roofing right now, my next step would be to put in an entirely new roof. At the beginning of the inspection, I told John that I plan to begin building an attached ADU in the next few months. He advised that it would be best that I wait and have the new roof installed at the same time the ADU is built so that there is continuity in the structure and design. He said the garage leak and the current state of the main roof should be fine for another year, but that if any issues did come up, to let him know and they would come out right away. All this advice and guidance for the cost of a free inspection! BTW, I really enjoyed talking with John and there was absolutely no salesmanship involved. We were talking about random things and jobs in general. I asked how is it to be part of a family business. His eyes lit up and he seemed very proud of the dynamics, quality, and service standards of his company when he responded. He said his favorite part was meeting with the clients. He said they do get pretty busy, but they're used to it. That's the type of company that I would like to work on my house! read more

Really happy with Parkside and the entire process. Needed an second opinion from a roofer in connection with installing solar in terms of what portions of roof (installed originally at different times) likely needed to be replaced in next few years before putting panels on. Parkside was able to have someone come out within 24 hours to take a look who was able to explain the process and his opinion on stuff. Didn't try to upsell or pressure to replace parts that didn't need to be done and explained why or why not parts looked suspicious. Even walked me through how to handle a poorly installed satellite dish and why that part wasn't worth pulling out or replacing. As a novice, I felt like he was trustworthy and not just trying to squeeze additional money out of a sale. In terms of the actual work, they were able to work us in sooner than expected and completed the bulk of the work when I was out of town, so minimal intrusion. Workers themselves were very professional and respectful, nice guys and very hard workers. Very responsive to email or any questions I had on contract or methods to pay. Ended up being much easier and painless than expected for a partial reroof. read more
