Baria Tacos and adult beverages
Justin C.

Good drinks and good food. We had tacos, loaded waffle fries, and a spicy bird. Service was quick and the atmosphere was quite which made for an intimate time with the family. Worth stopping in for a bite or drinks.

Several of fellow Yelpers stopped by and I wanted to see it myself what the commotion was about. It's at the northeast corner of Sable and Alameda. By the time I got there on Saturday, lunch rush was over and too early for dinner. Definitely not busy at all. I walked around from right to left and could see there were 2 restaurants to the right and coffee and ice cream shop. A huge bar was at the center and lots of tables and comfy seating areas. There were also games to play. To the left was Gina's kitchen. I stopped by to check out the Taco Choi and appears to be staffed by self service kiosk and one couple was busy trying to order. I decided to skip and go back to the Lucky Bird. I was eyeing on spicy bird sandwich but ended up with the Asian tenders. This one had a yummy decrition and I wanted a small meal. Save room for different types of food, maybe from Gina's? After a quick stop at the bar, I headed over to the Gina's but wasn't sure about it and ended up at the common area with my drink. My order came out pretty quickly. It was presented very well, steaming hot. It was 3 chicken tenders that were huge. Bigger than Canes and it was very juicy. I wish I had ordered some fries to go with it. Overall, I will be back to try a few other entries from Lucky Bird and maybe from Taco Choi. If you have a big group, there are also a few restaurants nearby that you can order from.

Went here after seeing Matt's review. We love food halls! This is a good one, definitely a neighborhood hangout. Far too many strollers and noisy small children on this particular afternoon, but we snagged two comfy armchairs and a table. Very relaxing, Probably best to go at night if you prefer a more adult atmosphere. We tried food and drinks from a couple of different places (Lucky Bird and Taco Choi) and enjoyed them all! The chicken and the waffle fries were YUMMY. The scary-looking green drinks are delicious and refreshing. BF picked up our food from one place, and another delivered to our table. Busing was sporadic. Garbage was left on a table near us for quite some time, although the place was packed and that may have been why. We didn't have room for Gina's pastries, but we'll definitely be back!

This chicken tender is AMAZING from Lucky Bird. Had a delicious juicy flavor with great breading and even better tasting sauce. The entire space is super welcoming and a great place to enjoy some food and drink. But this chicken really stood out. Tried their mezcal margarita and if you like mezcal, you'll love it. Highly recommend Lucky Bird!!

Aurora has a new kid on the block and their name is Parkside Eatery. Wishing this newer business all the success in the world. They've got some great local food stalls and a lot on the horizon! Current vendors as of their opening are Taco Choi, Lucky Bird, Gina's Kitchen and Parkside Bar. The space is open, relaxing and approachable. There are a lot of TV's and by the sound of it they plan to make it a gameday destination. They have table games and picnic tables, making a reliable option for families. TACO CHOI // I've been a fan of these peeps since their food truck days back in 2019. Now they have their own brick and mortar shop! They have a wonderful IG-friendly backdrop, too. Same great food, I seriously love their tacos. They crisp the cheese on the bottom of the tortilla and their Korean combinations are SO fire. You'll eat three of these and immediately want three more. I promise you! LUCKY BIRD // I'm also pretty familiar with these cats since they have a stall at Edgewater Public Market. Their tenders are legit, and same goes for their sweet potato fries and double decker-sized sammies. The loaded sweet potato fries are pretty remarkable if you're looking to load up on carbs. GINA'S KITCHEN // I was unfamiliar with Gina's before visiting. She's had her own catering company in Colorado for over 7 years. They are 100% GLUTEN FREE. Yep, 100%. And the best part is you wouldn't even know it by tasting their goodies. I only stuck with their sweets on my first visit, but they also make their own bread and have lots of yummy-sounding savory items. PARKSIDE BAR // A laid back and affordable bar. We're used to paying $16 for a cocktail in Denver, and here the cocktails tap out at $11. Score! Plus they carry great local Colorado beers. Happy hour is currently M-F from 3-6pm. And they're offering $1 off drafts during game day. Lots of awesome things happening here with room to grow. They plan to add two more vendors over the coming months. Definitely check them out, all the spots are locally owned and operated and community driven!

It's like much needed food court that the city of Aurora needed for a long time finally opened! Its grand opening was just the past Saturday. Per Chris, the guy who is in charge for the whole place, was at the bar but came out to our table to greet us and explained about this concept of this eatery. It was a slow Monday night but was packed on the day of the grand opening event. There are only three vendors operating inside as of today (Monday, Nov 7, 2022.) Chris said one more vendor (coffee and ice cream place) is contracted to open by January of 2023. There is one more open space but Chris is hoping for a pizza vendor or something like that. Whatever they decide to open, once it's fully occupied, it'll be a nice place for sure (as it already is!) I came here with my Yelp Elite friend, Jojo to check it out and we stuffed our mouths and tummies with two dishes from the Lucky Bird and two tacos from Taco Choi. My personal favorite tonight was definitely the Loaded Sweet Potato Waffle Fries (from the Lucky Bird; both Jojo and I LOVE sweet potatoes.) And let's not forget to mention about Gina's Kitchen. I got me a few sweets from them for later (tomorrow). I couldn't get my head around as to how it's possible to make all those delicious looking pastries all vegan! I can wait to eat them! This is a great place for something casual. And it's so close from my DTC house; I can get here in a matter of 15 min by hopping on I-225.

GRAND OPENING of one of the dining concepts popping up everywhere in centralized downtown cities. Several little restaurants sharing a common building and a big dining area so people can have varying types of food. At the current time, there are two restaurants and a bar and a bakery, with space for two more places. We met Chris, one of the owners/investors, tending bar at CENTRAL BAR and a very kind young man. For dinner, my friend Rika and I hit up The Lucky Bird for a sampling of their Asian Tenders and loaded sweet potato waffle fries. While that was being prepared, we went nextdoor to Taco Choi to see their samplers. Rika ordered the Annie and I ordered the Evelyn. They were very tasty, but could have been much warmer and cooked the tortilla longer too. One taco for four bucks is way pricey in my opinion and I'll probably not get them again, but I hear the nachos are great so I'll come back for those. Our Asian tenders were fabulous and the waffle fries were perfectly cooked and tasty as heck. I'll be back another day soon!!

Yesterday was one of the bartenders birthday and I had bought a confection from Gina's Kitchen also in the Parkside eatery for the event. As I always say it's hard to tell that what she makes is gluten free and vegetarian as we all gobbled down that cake. She can also make special orders.

Good selection of food at this food court. Not too busy but once the apartment complex on the property opens I imagine it will be extremely busy all the time. For now, I enjoyed how peaceful it was in there the ambiance was nice because it was corn and not over packed with people

Looking for that perfect place to Meet, Eat and have Fun with Friends and Family, then Parkside Eatery should be your destination of choice. Tables abound and they have games galore. Want a great place to watch the game, they have multiple BIG Flat Screens. The food is incredible delicious. Currently they offer 3 unique dining choices. The LUCKY BIRD offers Hand-breaded Buffalo Bleu Chicken Tenders, Fried Chicken Tenders, Wraps, Salads and Sweet Potato Waffle Fries all made in house. The next is TACOCHOI, Colorado's Korean BBQ Inspired Tacos. Their Street Corn is to die for. The taste is outta this world. They also have Nachos and Quesadillas all very delicious. The 3rd awesome restaurant is GINA'S KITCHEN. The offer Gluten Free and Vegan Bakery and Bistro with Vegan and Non-Vegan Bistro Options. All their offerings are totally delicious and amazing. I spent a lot of time sampling their bakery goods. Talk about GREAT DESERTS. WOW!! All 3 restaurants offer fantastic service and totally engage you while you select your meal. As I said this is a great place to meet and eat and the available entertainment options are a plenty. The PARKSIDE BAR offers the perfect liquid refreshments. Custom mixed drinks and all the unique Colorado Craft Brews!

I cannot wait to come back! I came for an event so we were able to try items from every shop. I loved the Buffalo chicken strip with ranch and blue cheese crumble! It was delicious and had good flavor! The chicken taco from Taco Choi was delicious! The sauces on top made the taco! Desserts from Gina's kitchen were to die for! Gina is the sweetest! She tries to make food for as many food allergies as possible. Gluten free, diary free, vegan, etc. The seating space is cozy and rustic!

We went to the grand opening of Parkside Eatery Saturday. It was such a great event filled with games, giveaways and good food and drinks. This is such a nice food hall to have in Aurora. There were ample choices for food, a great drink selection from the bar and comfy bar seats to watch a game. We will definitely be back to hangout and enjoy the amazing atmosphere.

We tried Maria's Empanadas, which I've been wanting to try forever, and it definitely was everything I hoped it'd be. So many delicious varieties. Everything was fresh and delicious. I also had a watermelon drink and a pistachio cookie, and everything was perfect. We also had some smoked mac and cheese at the barbecue spot, it was okay, a little too peppery and not as fresh as I'd hoped, but overall the food experience was nice. It can be a challenge to find a parking spot due to the popularity of this area. It is worth it though. My husband brought me and our daughter here for dinner. She was very happy with her selection. She had enough left over to have it for lunch the next day. My husband chose the Spicy Tantanmen Ramen, a combination of spicy garlic ground pork, bok choy, bamboo, bean sprouts, green onions, fishcake, fried onions, shredded Japanese red chili pepper, and marinated egg in pork bone broth. He did not have any left to take home. I was feeling like noodles, so I chose the Yaki Udon and I added chicken. The Udon was stir fried with cabbage, carrots, scallions and onions. Delicious. I too, did not have anything to bring home as I ate every bite. A fun aspect is the food is delivered to the table by a cute robot with a kitty face. It plays a tune as it moves about the room. This place will require another visit as we enjoyed the first so much.
