Ate here for the first time and it's not too bad. A friend recommended this place during our lunch break from training and so we came to give it a try. I ordered the BHT burger which had your usual lettuce and tomatoes, roast beef, ham, and turkey breast with a side of fries. The whole meal cost around $11.50ish and that's pretty cheap considering I'm from Hawaii and something like this would've been between $16-$20. It tasted like a typical sandwich that you could make yourself. It was just convenient because it was in the area and we had a limited lunch break. There's ample parking in their parking lot shared with other establishments. The bartender/waitress was nice and quick. Our food came out within 7mins. This place is more of a bar than an actual restaurant. It was dark with pool tables and stuff. Just did our first visit to Majestic this afternoon. It was a very good experience. Our bartender and server was attentive and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Lastly the food. It was great. I came in to eat because the Taco Bell across the street wasn't open due to shortage of staff. The Bartender told me that the cook wasn't there but was on their way. 30 minutes after placing my order I walked out without saying anything and had the entire time had the inattentive clueless bartender assure me that they where "almost there" repeatedly. She didn't care about my order apparently. I actually have contacted the owner of the bar and they never bothered to get back to me after numerous tries and they clearly don't care. They are almost never there anyway apparently and they have never made any effort to actually call me back. I will never go back. If your cook isn't there don't piss away my time by saying that they are on their way for over half an hour. I gave them a chance to talk to me about it and it went unanswered so I won't be returning to try it. read more

Stopped in tonight to see some friends. I was pleasantly surprised. This place was clean and the waitress, a lovely blonde woman, was absolutely delightful. She flirted with me, danced to music and brought me several well made drinks along with some wings and fries. The juke boo was old school and fun. Can I just say WOW, what a night! My mood improved tenfold the second I entered this bar. While Aliza the bartender can pour a mean drink, her personality is just the opposite. She was very patient throughout the entire experience of me slamming 3 yager bombs, putting Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day on the juke box, and attempting to explain that my ex looked just like Billy Joe Armstrong if he grew his hair out and didn't sleep for 72 hours straight. I had such a good conversation with her that I almost forgot the whole reason I was there was because he kicked me out of the apartment we share to spend time with his new girlfriend he met at his job at Zumies. 10/10 will be back the next time I'm in a bind or just want to see a friendly face. read more

Bar: A bit of a hole. A dirty, divey hole located off of 225 and S. Parker Rd. Food: I've tried the tamales and tacos here and the food itself was good, but they drowned it in some kind of weird sauce. Tell them to hold the sauce. You do get a decent portion for the price. Parking: Lots of it. Saw a Jaguar here once. Must've been stolen. Karaoke: It's offered on Fridays, good music selection, acoustics could use improvement. Service: It's improved over the years. I had a couple of really good experiences there and enjoyed the food and the big portions but lost couple of times I've been there the regulars made us feel very unwelcome. I was there with my wife but we weren't being affectionate or anything but they seem to have picked up that we were a couple and treated us badly. Was pushed several times while trying to shoot pool and it took over 25 mins to get drinks on a very slow night. Were never offered food and the bill was brought to our table the moment our drinks finally made it to us.. really wanted this to be our new hang out since it's less than 5 mins from our home but we'll never go back again read more

The burgers are sizable, which is nice, but I specifically asked if the mushrooms (my token favorite topping) were fresh. I was told "yes". Well .. they're not. I came into this place figuring it was going to be another lousy Aurora bar that I would want to slit my wrists at. Surprisingly though, this place was a lot of fun. The karaoke list was one of the best in Denver, the beer selection didn't suck, and the people knew how to have a good time. I'm actually going back there again tonight. Okay, so I tried this place for lunch and when I walked in there was almost no one there and it looked pretty suspect (smelled like stale liquor, old furniture, kinda shady kitchen staff out back smoking) but I gotta say, LOVED IT! I got the Ricardo Burger and it is AMAZING! Green Chile strips, cheddar/jack cheese and grilled red onions... to DIE for! They also have a pretty tasty salsa that goes on top. Really good bun and fresh cut fries too, all fresh and piping hot. So... Freekin... good. By far the best burger in this area! I didn't get to enjoy the bar side yet, but I will be back. Upon first entry it's just another hole in the wall Aurora dive bar. But I went with a friend who recommended the food, and I'm glad I did. I got a Chili relleno and enchilada. It came smothered in sauce with lots of melted cheese. Portion was huge, and the food was really tasty. Many so called Mexican restaurants in the area could learn a lot here. The Majestic Saloon is, as Chuck N. put it, a hidden gem. I've been three times and I've never had an average meal or even just a good meal. I've always had a GREAT meal. Ok, so I've had two GREAT Majestic burgers (only the 1/2 pounder) and a GREAT burrito (beef of course. Yes, I've only been for lunch on week days, but I find the quiet of an under appreciated, hidden gem, to be what makes it such a great place to go with a friend. I've been with an old friend to mix business and pleasure. I've been with another old friend I hadn't seen in too long and we enjoyed EXCELLENT food & beverage, the best in service. Yep, I'm a guy who enjoys a lovely feminie work of art, as a waitress, especially when they're good a their job and give really good service. I know good service, because in my youth I worked in the "hospitality" industry. I most recently went with a friend in the making. She was a little leery of first meal date in a bar. When we were done she was calling a long time friend of hers and insisting that they come and check out the burritos. I like my fries a tad on the greasy side, my doctor doesn't. The lettice and tomatoes are always fresh and crisp. The pickels are alway dill and I don't eat dill pickels any more, but as soon as they add a sweet pickle option I'll give them a fifth star. And while I'm a beer guy, a fifth star will come when my date isn't told they house doesn't have a white wine of whatever variety she wanted. Picky, I know, but if I get two more SPLENDID burgers and another EXCELLENT burrito for lunch, I'm going to come back and give them that 5th star without the sweet pickel and white wine improvements. read more

I showed up here because I was staying at a hotel within walking distance on business. I travel a lot, and have been to MANY bars, sports, dives, strip, etc. I can tell you that there is no doubt that Dasha (sp?) is the BEST bartender i have ever come across in my life.
